I like the meals when I pick them
I like the meals when I pick them, but when I forget to pause a week and it gets auto sent, often I don’t like them. Maybe this system could be better.

It is getting too expensive and there…
It is getting too expensive and there are too many (i.e. salmon) with extra charges. I feel like I am paying a lot of money for spice packets. Too many of the same ingredients - especially vegetables. Otherwise, we usually enjoy the meals which is obviously important.

When I get my order on time it’s great
When I get my order on time it’s great. However, several times I have received my order the next day and the ice packs have melted and food has gone bad. Customer service is excellent at refunding or crediting, but that’s not the point. Food has been wasted and I now don’t have the meals I was planning on.

Meals are good but could be great
Meals are good but could be great. Our last order had several missing flavour ingredients such as hoisin sauce, bell pepper, peanuts, soy sauce. Some of these ingredients I do not have in my pantry so meals were not made to their potential.
Really appreciated Chef’s Plate follow up. Encouraging to see a company that addresses issues to make their product better.

Sometimes the veggies are not lasting…
Sometimes the veggies are not lasting even for 2 days.
The paper bag does not keep as well as it should.
Certain recipes don’t include enough product : like potatoes to make mash potatoes…….only 2 potatoes is way too little for my program. It should be minimum 4 to make it worth.

Chefs plate is great but their referral…
Chefs plate is great but their referral service is fraudulent. I referred three customers and should have received rewards but they did not honour them . I had referred them while my plan was deactivated while I was moving to my new address. Now that I would like to restart it, they’re not honouring my rewards. Service is great but will try another service.

As per usual - missing / changed ingredients
As per usual, missing ingredients (spring onions) in one meal, and despite swapping ingredients in the other one without warning (zucchini instead of bok Choi) the cooking instructions were not also updated, resulting in “zucchini mush”. I think they should double check with me about changes like that in advance of shipping. What if I had been allergic to zucchini?

I have cancelled already as I wanted meals already made. My first order had 3 dinners for 2 and each bag was missing ingredients. Not for us!!

Food quality was poor and only had 2 deliveries and both had isuues. One box was missing an item and the other I was sent the wrong items

The food is very good
The food is very good. Would be nice if needed fewer cooking pots and pans per meal. One of the meals (sausage subs) had no veg as part of it which I would argue is not a complete meal. Wasn’t hard, added our own salad, but if you are advertising a whole meal, should include vegetables. It has also been a great way for my teens to learn to cook.
