I like the ease of meal preparation. The recipies are a little too simplistic possibly, but they taste good. My biggest wish is that they would add more vegetables within each portion . I often feel I... See more

The food has been good, some fantastic. I wish you had a meat and veggies options as well, so many carbs as sides.

Great first week....my husband and I are enjoying a different menu, it's easy and quick

The recipe is always delicious and easy to follow. However, I would love to have more promotion for existing customers and not just for new ones. I’m receiving countless promotions through mail and sadly they are not for me because i’m an actual client so I can’t use them. Send rewards more often to existing customers if you want them to stay. Thanks

I am a really good customer however, no reduction. Only card for other people.

After 1 week and 5 meals, I can say that the recipes are good and tasteful. They take a little longer to cook than I expected but the end result is worth it. However, some fresh ingredients were not so fresh at the day of delivery. The garlic had 2 cloves that were all soft and soggy and 1 already had some mildew on it. Some spinach had seen better days. Everything else was OK. It is fun to be able to subtitute some proteins when we order, but you should offer more substitutions from ground beef to ground chicken (or turkey), that would meakes my cooking easier since my wife can't eat red meat. Overall these are enjoyable meals!

I enjoyed receiving the meals. It was nice to have an idea of what to make after a long day at work. Just put it together without having to think of an idea and look for ingredients to make the idea work.

Overall, I’ve found the service reliable and easy to use, and I’m sharing the following purely as feature suggestions from a regular user, not complaints.
First, it would be very helpful to have a way to save or favourite meals for later reference.
There are some menus I really like and would want to revisit, but at the moment, I can only view the current weekly selection. Once a week passes, it’s difficult to easily revisit those meals. A simple save or favourites feature would make long-term use even better.
Second, I understand the current structure is designed to keep meal planning simple and low-effort, but I think an optional ingredient-based browsing or filtering system could be a great addition in the future.
I want to clarify that I chose this service specifically because I don’t want to fully build meals on my own. I really value the weekly recommendations, and that’s exactly why I use this platform instead of planning everything myself.
That said, in a typical week, there are usually one or two meals where I have a very specific preference. For example, on certain days I might specifically want fish instead of chicken or beef, or I may want leafy greens rather than carrots, or occasionally I might want rice instead of potatoes or pasta.
At the moment, some filters exist (such as quick-to-cook or general dietary styles), but the control feels incomplete. For example, I can select beef, but not specifically fish or seafood; I can choose vegetarian meals, but I can’t easily exclude them; I can sometimes select rice, but not clearly choose alternatives.
I’m not suggesting replacing the current recommendation system. Rather, having a light, optional way to guide or exclude certain ingredients for a small number of meals would make the experience feel more flexible without increasing decision fatigue.

Interesting menu for prepping food.
Some produce of 2nd quality, brused onion etc.
Easy to follow instructions.
Too much carb in the choices, not enough veg for us

Good quality food, lots of choices, delivery is always as stated & it's fun to make dishes that are not in my wheel house.

The portion size have got a lot smaller and I dont like that the price goes up the more boxes that's ordered. However, The taste of the food is fantastic!

I subscribed a week ago. My first meal kits were due today. Chef’s Plate (CP) gives themselves a ridiculous 12-hour delivery window (8am to 8pm) on delivery day. My first payment was processed yesterday. At 7:30pm today, the CP app said my meal kits were “delivered”. They were not and never were. I contacted the CP virtual help agent. It said not to disconnect and, if I don’t reply in 2 to 4 minutes, I may be cut off. So, I waited - HALF AN HOUR. Finally, a live agent responded to my demand for an immediate refund and “service” cancellation. To his credit, he dealt well with my anger; he refunded me & cancelled my subscription. All told, this was a complete unmitigated waste of my time - and I needed to go to a restaurant tonight after all. The Chef’s Plate food may look good online, but don’t expect to actually receive any food whatsoever.
Since I wrote what’s above, trustpilot says CP wants more information about all this or it “may not recognize my comments as genuine”. It’s genuine. Why would I invent this nightmare? CP has enough information. I hope the reader does as well.

Such ridiculous prices, they are just trying to get you on any subscription model, thanks for the free mail, here is a free review. AVOID AS POSSIBLE, there are better options out there. Does not seem like the price is justified by Quality based on other reviews. Sad to see.

I received a discount by mail. Set up a new account and made everything accordingly.
They showed that it would cost 41$ and then they let you pick the boxes and once you're done picking the meals, you click on "next" and it automatically confirms the delivery and the payment, without letting me know that, surprisingly, it would cost 115$ and not the promised 41$!
I cancelled right away and I'll never do business with such a dishonest company.
