Scam website
Had someone on Facebook messenger message me about a van I was selling and asked me to do a paid report on this website for them before they came to view it. Thankfully checked trustpilot first and showed them the reviews - they then left the chat and blocked me so seems a definite scam.
Definite scam and I fell for it
Definite scam and I fell for it. Reported to bank cancelled card. Had email with attachments but didn’t open and deleted it.
SCAM
A man called Steve Blake contacted me on Facebook as I am selling my car. He wanted to view the car at 8pm today. I thought this was strange as it would be dark. He was ok with that. He wanted me to do a report on my car and offered the full asking price if I did it. He was very interested in the car but after looking up the company I refused to do it and said it was a scam, he then disappeared.

It’s scam
It’s scam. I posed my vehicle to sell it on Facebook. Someone with locked profile contacted me and set a time for seeing. And then he said my mechanic told me price is fair and get us this report from this website. He refused to pay for the inspection.
Scammers
SCAM!
Similar to others on here, I having been trying to sell my van on Facebook. I was contacted by a guy called Bailey Stephens, who from the profile picture looks like a genuine family man, although when a facebook profile is locked there is always a concern. At 1st he seemed very legitimate and was keen to understand more about the van and organised a time to come and view it and that then when he hit me with a message to say he was calling his mechanic. He very quickly responded to say the mechanic said the price was fair but to confirm the van was clear of any issues that i should get him this report and he would proceed with the deal. As many of you have done on here, i was quick to check trust pilot and sent him a screenshot and refused to click on the link politley. The attitude of "Bailey" changed and he became more pushy. I will try to upload images to support. Please dont fall for these SCAMMERS!
Should be negative stars
Should be negative stars. Utter waste of time and a scam. Trying to sell a vehicle on Facebook market place. All seemed really legit until the guy named Derek Johnston wanted me to pay for a comprehensive check on my vehicle and said he would pay full asking price if it came back clear.

Someone called ‘Nick Parker’ asked to buy my motorbike. Number provided was 07849367125. He ghosted me after I told him about his number being on here.
DO NOT USE THESE GUYS.
I got a report sent to me, but it wasn’t anything different to what I could get for free myself.
Scam as below
There should be a no stars its a scam
There should be a "no stars" as this is just awful that people can con others like this.. So I had the same as other reviewers.. A buyer as soon as the ad went up locked profile he asked a few questions and he answered ("alright") to them .. that was when alarm-bells started his profile picture was of a typical English family .. I just thought it odd that he didn't use local language as he was supposedly near the vehicle.. Then he got cross with me.. He use most of the text already reported on here...but further to this he told me to "hurry up he waiting" ? also it takes time so I should "do it immediately" as it would be back by the time we met? Luckily I had already started to suspect so I checked on google and up popped trust pilot.. THANK YOU for the earlier reviews.. I told him it was a scam and he immediately left the conversation... Thank you Trust pilot

SCAM and I fell for it. Was a bit too eager to sell my car. If it sounds to good, it probably is. should have clicked when he said he would pay the whole price and refund me for the chech vehicles report, which I paid £24.50 for.
Scam
Scam! I’m selling a car on FB marketplace and I’ve been asked to purchase this report for the car as the seller which is a load of BS. They even offered to send the money back to me if the report comes back clean- but I’m to use this website as they trust it. Being me- of course I’ve check Trustpilot before clicking any links- surprise surprise- of course it was a SCAM! Haven’t heard from them since mentioning it…
Wouldn’t except check from top vehicle…
Wouldn’t except check from top vehicle check company that cost £9.99, kept pushing this site, saying his dad wouldn’t read it, under the name of Raymond Davies on Facebook, I’ve taken screen shots and now going to report to Facebook.

Be warned it is a SCAM
I would attach the screenshots of the person and the conversation but it won’t allow me. As soon as I sent him the screenshot from trustpilot regarding it being a scam, he deleted the conversation and blocked me LOL - WHAT A LOSER
