Same as everyone else leaving a negative review for this banker, he goes by many aliases including female profiles, he always asks for a report at the end of the conversation, hes wasted doing this scam he should write childrens fantasy books he has a better imagination than JK Rowling.
This time he was Brendan Philips but he comes in many guises, just tell him to FTFO !!

The site is a scam used by fake people on fb dont click the link and report them for being frauds if you do use it freeze your account

SCAM Ellis Wallace contacted me via Facebook marketplace to buy my car. Said he would pay full price if I clicked on link and got the vehicle test uk report. I kept saying no. Then I screen shot reviews from here and sent them to him. He then took his page down.

Had similar experience. This Time I was directed by BRADFORD GRAHAM, whose Facebook is very dodgy, to vehiclescanners.co.uk. I was asked click the link and pay for a report. Hmmmmmmmmm. When I said I would not pay, his reply was “don't worry about the cost of it, I'll pay you back if it comes out clean”. Thankful I didn’t click the link. Let’s see what happens next!

Scam just had this on facebook market place from a Jack Bradshaw I clicked the link just hoping nothing comes from it didn’t put any details in

Just had a Kaymen Palmer try to get me to visit this link. Facebook marketplace dirty scamming filth.

He blocked me as soon as I sent him a picture of one of these reviews. Thank heavens for Trust Pilot.

Slightly different website now (vehicletestuk.co.uk), but following the exact same format as others. PAUL PALMER...willing to pay full asking price if I use this link. Didn't click the link but suspect it will divert to a dodgy site. His profile page is locked as private with a couple of hundred 'friends'.

Scam, locked Facebook account, says will get mechanic to check inspection report of car and asks for £25 via a link to check report of car, says when received report will definitely purchase car and refund the £25 for the report, he doesn't exist and neither does the mechanic! Avoid such scumbags!!!

They are now using vehicletestuk as their link for paying for reports.

someone responded to an add I placed for a car and was sent the link to checkvehicles once I said its best they report they tried to push me to pay for the report and they would pay full price for the car when I said no and they should do it they didn't respond to me or turn up at the time they said

Scam. Same experience as the other reviews, the name of the account that contacted me was Mark Haukin on Facebook Marketplace. Thankfully checked here after he insisted that I run a report from this website.

Thanks everyone! This appears to be a common theme as I was also contacted by someone on FB marketplace whilst trying to sell my car. Said he was willing to pay full asking price if I completed the check and sent to him… also seemed like a genuine family man with a FB picture of a married couple and kids. Avoid!!!

Scammers on Facebook pretending to be interest in Motorhomes.
Said happy with asking price but all he needed is me to put my card details in to that dodgy website.

Just for the record and to help others…my story is just the same as most. Selling my car on Facebook Marketplace. Contacted immediately by George Walters who said he would pay full asking price if I got the report first. His FB profile looked genuine with a photo took me a while but I got suspicious when all his 120+ friend were Asian and no photos! Then I checked on here…a scum parasite of the first order. Should be strung up as no good to man nor beast.

It’s Lara Palmer now…..same scam I expect. Shows locked profile and all happy to agree to price as long as I pay for the report…ha ha ha.

Same for me. Selling van on Matketplace and Autotrader. Both had responses from attempted scammers within minutes of advertising the van. I’m currently stringing one of them along. Pretending I don’t know it’s a scam. Very enjoyable. Be careful. Never give info that may compromise yourself. 👍
