Had been buying books from them for several years and they are great -- until there is a problem. If you get damaged merchandise, you won't get a refund and you have to pay to ship it back to him. Horrible customer service. Max the owner must be a con man, because when you complain to him, he deletes your account -- what a creep.

I've been ordering from CheapGraphicNovels for roughly 3 years now and they've been great. I saw there were a disproportionate amount of bad reviews which surprised me because I've had communication with someone whenever there's been an issue, and they've handled it was speed, kindness, and fairness.

Fake scamming store. I asked him about shipping his response “Idk” Alright That’s fine i email him again asking for cancellation And he says there’s a 20% fee Despite not Receiving the books to his facility Nor Shipping it out, I tell him I know that the fee isn’t fair and that i’ll still give me 5% For his time and he says “Nah it’s not negotiable” i ask him to beak down the 20% wondering what and why there is one and he permanently bans me From shopping there+ Doesn’t explain INSTOCKTRADES IS BETTER DONT SHOP HERE

Refused to give me a refund when my special order still had not come in after a month and a half. Only would give store credit and only on one of the books. Was never contacted by them about the delay. The book had been available for purchase through other locations immediately after its release. This was all before the Diamond bankruptcy as well.

Horrible costumer service. Little to no response in regards to costumer’s concerns. Very slow to deliver items. Avoid this company , just support your local shop instead of wasting time buying from here

Horrible customer service, ordered 4 books on 16 August and here 4 September still not mailed. Emailed for a refund and was told they don't do refunds, stay away from this place, total scam

Max is as shady as they come. I purchased a book on sale(not a damage sale) which came damaged. He first told me he didn’t consider it damaged. After I pressed more he told me that it wasn’t that damaged and I got it on sale so he couldn’t do anything. I have little doubt he was putting books on sale as new to get rid of his damaged stock and then tell people exactly what he told me. Do not trust cheapgraphicnovels, the owner is a scumbag.

Just cheat people out of money. Agreed to a refund misus service charge. Returned book without ever removing from original shipping media. Only gave a partial refund because they say it was returned damaged.

Max helped me out this Christmas 2022! I ordered 4 Issues for my brother in law for our exchange. I though I ordered all in stock but 1 ended up being a special order. They helped me out, switched the Graphic Novel to the one they had in stock, which was even a SE-HC! No charge to me, which I offered to pay the difference. I also asked if they could drop ship it to him rather than it being sent to me (as he lives 4 hours away) and they said no problem! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I would highly recommend them to anyone trying to get great graphic novels!

As many have already stated, these guys have horrible customer service. Oh they're great when you want to add to your order, just don't add a special order book. I bought several out of print books. However, rather than sending what they have in stock, they've chosen to not send anything. I even stated I would pay the second shipping charge. So odds are I'll have to have PayPal step in. I do suggest an escrow type company and not paying direct with a credit card or something that does not secure your money because of how they operate.

These people are horrible, truly the worst customer service experience I’ve ever received. They send me a book that seemed ok but was riddled with defects after opening. I called and they told me the buisness version of “sucks for you, bye” never buy from them unless your wanna gamble your money and have them hide behind their ever changing “policies”

They charge $5 for a box. Do not buy from them

Cancels order after it has been put in 3 weeks prior. No response to questions and no reason for the cancelation. Other review sites claim the same thing. There are other sites that offer the same price range for new Omnibus books please use those as the service for this place is not reasonable.

I was a bit reluctant when I first ordered from this website. I mean, even its name 'cheapgraphicnovels' sounds a bit weird... on the other hand, it is genius, because that is exactly what I googled, so it was the first result that came up! Their shipping is great: $8 flat shipping. I ordered over 20 books at once, and I must say it felt great to pay 8 bucks for all that shipping! All of the books were in mint condition, and they came VERY well packed inside the box. Very happy with this site, and I sure will buy again! Very trustworthy website. Recommended.
