Compared with other HR systems on the market, Charlie HR is a incredible free to use platform which smoothly enables our team to:
- Manage their own annual leave, training leave and 'call in sick'
- Onboard new starters to provide all necessary data and documents
- Store sensitive data and key company documents
- Create quick and accurate payroll updates

It also...

- Provides a clear and simple user interface (which our design/product led team loves)
- Integrates with our team slack channel and gmail calendar
- Reminds and informs key people about key team information (birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, sickness, visa expiries)

For me the implementation of the system was incredibly swift and painless and their client support (Matt) has been a star.

My only flag to anyone considering implementing it is that CharlieHR is a little UK centric right now, but if you're looking for an HR system solution for small to medium sized, UK based teams - you won't regret going with it. Plus... we have offices in the US and Norway and the tool still fits our needs well (and my support tickets are hopefully helping them develop to a global product).

Brilliant piece of HR software - saves so much time and is extremely user-friendly (which is particularly great as minimises the time spent explaining new processes to new team members!). Would highly recommend to anyone. The team are constantly working on improvements which is also great to see.

The application itself is easy to use and solves some common HR problems very simply. The platform that is developing will no doubt become even more powerful in the future. I've been super impressed with the customer service we've received and would recommend Charlie to anyone!

As someone who manages a small business Charlie HR removes a ton of hassle from both onboarding employees, and then keeping all of their essential information securely on file in one place. It's a massive time saver, and I've come to depend upon it.

HR for small business is time consuming and usually consists of spreadsheets and folders and files scattered all over.

We were pretty organised before however even then things can tend to get out of control and confusing for others who sometimes do a bit of HR.

Charlie makes lots of essential tasks super easy, especially holiday booking! Not to mention making the management of Payroll and other confidential details very simple and secure.

If you're a small business without a big HR department, Charlie is a great way of streaming on boarding of new employees, managing holidays and as an admin, keeps it nice and easy to approve! Highly recommend!

A must have for ant SME

We have been using CharlieHR for a few months now and its been brilliant to keep things organised. The platform is really well built and incredibly fast. Everything you need to run a simple HR system is in this platform. There's really nothing else you need in the future. Highly reccomend all new entrepreneurs try this platform.

The product is really intuitive and easy to use.

My favourite things are the notifications of key dates, birthdays, leave etc that automatically pop into my inbox that strikes the right balance between being informed enough vs being spammed.

The service by the account management team is also amazing - always prompt to answer questions.

Overall - a great product for our startup.

CharlieHR has been great in making sure that everything is captured for our growing team. The UX is beautiful and intuitive. Being self-serve, it means that everyone is able to keep their information up to date with a minimum of fuss. And our outsourced payroll bureau can access all the up to date information with ease.

We’ve just started using Charlie HR and so far it’s been great! All the HR info is centralised, staff can easily update their own details and the company info is all in one place too so colleagues can easily access what they need.
