This is a big scam, the quality of the products are very poor, cheap material, overpriced.
Returns forget about it when I contacted them to return the item, this was they answer:
You are welcome to keep the original item — you might choose to gift it, resell it, or donate it.

They offer returns, but make it impossible to get a refund. I told them that I was out of town, and the date I’d be returning. They said they’d send me return info when I got back. When I got back, they said, oh, sorry, too late.
UPDATE: Next day (after I threatened bad review) they said they’d make an exception. But since they’re in China, not New York, postage on DHL would be €53, just about the cost of the dress I want to return.😤

The items were not the same as the ones I selected in the pictures. Impossible to return. Misleading in every way. Store logo states New York as location. Shipment came direct from China and returns are to China. Would never have purchased if I knew that.

I ordered a cute pair of vintage boots from "Charles & Nancy" New York so they claim. I received the boots today and they look nothing at all like the ones being advertised. I paid $65 for them and they look like they very cheap. No brand logo on them anywhere and they were imported. Be very careful with this website and save your money!! I wish that there was an option to add a photo but I don't see one.

If I could give a negative star I would. I made the mistake of buying something from them. What I received did not look like the advertised product. They would only give a 25% refund. Cheap material out of China!

I purchased an item and ordered a size M and they sent me a size 2. When I contacted them they gave me all these requirements that I had to do before they would refund my money. I complied and they then said that they sent me the correct size and that if I want a refund I would have to pay to send the item back. This is unacceptable especially size THEY sent me the WRONG SIZE. HORRIBLE Company. DO NOT PURCHASE from they. They are not a NY company. They are CROOKS.

They are thieves, they show you on the website a product that is completely different from the one they send, TERRIBLE quality, cheap, and the shipping takes a month and a half to arrive. For the RETURN you have to pay for it and send it to China where the shipping is more expensive than what you bought. THIEVES

Horrible items and very bad quality. Tried to send back for a refund as stated and it will cost me more than what I paid for the items. This really is a deceptive scam as they are not located in New York, but China.

The dress I ordered looks nothinmg like the picture. Fabric is cheap looking. They make it difficult to return it. Making me pay for sending it back and the label to send it back

the quality of the jacket i bought is very very bad. please do not buy anything from them. i wanted to return the jacket and they said that i have to return it to china where they bought it from and i have to pay the shipping fees. this place is a scam be aware

I ordered a cardigan sweater and received a flimsy, sheer, cheap something??? Tried to return, it would have cost me $131.00 to return to China! They would only offer me a partial return. Total and complete rip off! Do not order from this company.

As many have said before: This is a Chinese company operating out of Ningbo, Zheijiang, China. I ordered 2 dresses for $107. When they arrived the workmanship was poor with mismatched seams and white thread used for colorful fabric. One fabric was so thin and the other felt like a burlap sack. Neither fit well. I emailed Charles and Nancy with a list of issues. They asked for photos which I sent. Option for exchange or return given. I wanted to return; however, it would cost $132.16 to return them vis DHL. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! If I could give -5 stars I would.

This company is a scam. Charles & Nancy New York promotes itself as a U.S. company going out of business. In fact, it’s a China company and that’s where all products ship from. It seems they operate using various names with random photos of a white couple “Charles & Nancy” for instance. Their products are not as advertised whatsoever. You will pay $50 or more for what you think is a beautiful sweater, for example, and receive a poorly sewn polyester garment with horrible printing on it. Good luck returning an item—shipping back to China costs more than whatever you paid. These companies should be banned from doing business. I cant say enough bad things about this company.

I would give them zero stars if I could. I'm currently in the process of trying to return them. They say they're from New York but in fact, I believe they're shipping things in from China. The colorful loafers that looks so cute are not leather but instead are made of plastic and the offgassing is so terrible. I have to package them up and put them in a closet while I wait for them to agree to return my money. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

Don’t order from them! It comes from China and you cannot return it without paying the full shipping to China. Not at all as described items! Total scam

Wow, wish I had seen this before ordering: ordered a ‘cardigan’ which came as a super cheap fleece. No sizing, I ordered large and the item at best was a small/medium. I wrote to them asking for an XL, paid 20.00 more and they shipped the same small/medium. SAVE YOUR MONEY- its CRAP from CHINA

I ordered two designer blouses. When the arrived they were of extremely low quality in both material and workmanship. The company claims to be in New York however, they are actually in Ningbo, Zhejiang, China. When I requested a return label they gave me an address in China and said I would have to pay postage and they might refund my purchase. Return postage was going too be $202.00. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SCAM SITE!!

Buyer beware !! This company is NOT out of New York, it is NOT going out of business , and the product is NOT what is advertised . It is cheap it is out of China . Returns are to be sent back overseas costing more than the actual product . They also send the wrong sizes - sent me clothes for a small I ordered extra large . Some of the clothes didn’t even have a tag. I usually check the reviews. I tried to dispute the charge with my credit card company which wouldn’t dispute it because in the Fine print under Returns it says that it has to be returned to an address is China. It claims it will pay for shipping. If returned within 7 days if it is their fault which is also a lie .

Charles and Nancy of New York scammed me. I ordered a dress and blouse and they were both nothing like the pictures shown on their site. Then I asked to return and it’s to china costing way more than the items. That’s the clincher… you really can’t return. Both items were not delivered in 7-10 days as said on their site. One took almost 2 months with a hassle with their shipper GOFo All was exasperating!!! Beware!!!

I would give this merchant 0 stars if I could.
The quality of the dress I ordered is the worst I have ever seen in my life! Cheap, flimsy, unwearable.
I'm a senior on a fixed income and thought I was getting a nice dress for a good price.
What an evil bait and switch.
Do not buy from this rip-off. (I have never written a bad review in my life!)
