Misleading advertising - damaged item - no news
My mum ordered an iPad case from them, she picked this company as the ad was a sponsored one at the very top of the list on Google. She also assumed it was a UK company given the website. The item arrived almost two weeks later. It was left in the foyer of the block of flats without being signed for. The item was damaged and unsuitable for use. We checked the small print and discovered that we'd have to return the item paying the costs to China, despite the UK front for the company. This is unacceptable. We contacted the company by email immediately (30 August) attaching pictures of the damaged item and as yet have received no reply. She is very upset. You order these things in good faith. They clearly had the cash to get the ad to the top of Google.
