Need ABS No Longer Manufactured

I am not sure how to proceed
I have not had a claim yet with Car Shield (CS). However, my mechanic of 30+ years informed me that because of the difficulties working with CS that he would no longer honor work requiring a claim with CS. When I called CS about this they gave me a list of places that say that they support CS claims. I have checked the ones closest to me and 3 other shops recommended by friends. Some said that they don't honor CS claims others said that they do but that CS takes a long time approving claims and sometimes require their own parts. Not exactly how the commercials sound like the way CS should work. Customer Service gave me a reduction on one of my cars (I have 2 on CS) just for the inconvenience. I still don't feel comfortable that if I need to file a CS claim that the work will approved or take an extended amount of time. Not sure how to proceed from here.
