I've tried and tried to get a car listed, but received no response from "customer service." Customer service is non-existent. When you can't find a phone number on the website prominently displayed (you have to Google it) and then it just goes to voicemail...it's not acceptable.

I’m a first time seller online and had a lot of anxiety on how would it go. Cars and Bids has start to finish customer service that took care of my anxiety and made the experience seamless. I would 100% come back to them to sell or buy my next enthusiast car.

My experience was great! I won an auction for a 2000 BMW Z3. The seller was fantastic and as an enthusiast, he knew all the ins and outs of the car. The auction, purchase, and pickup all went smoothly and the car has been wonderful.

I'm a 3x user of Cars & Bids, twice as a seller and once as a buyer. All three experiences were exceptional. The negative reviews on here are mostly buyers and sellers that did not handle their OWN due diligence. This is not Carmax or Carvana, rather it's an amazing platform to facilitate PRIVATE sales, meaning that sellers need to do the work to represent their cars and buyers need to do their research before bidding. If both are true, you can't beat buying or selling here.

C&B's has really done their homework; they are a well oiled machine! They are very helpful, friendly, and professional, and made the entire experience fun, exciting, and simple. C&B's handles almost everything from A-Z. If anyone is unsure or apprehensive about listing your vehicle with C&B's, don't be, you won't be disappointed. This is the first time I've used an online auction site but, if I ever sell another vehicle, it won't be my last and it won't be with anyone else! Thank you to Doug and all of his associates.

For people like me that aren't as tech savvy, the site was super easy to navigate through. Turn key service down to sending me the link to DMV for release of liability after my car sold. The title to my car arrived at there office in the morning and funds were in my account by the afternoon. 100% positive experience.

Their SafePay process made selling my vehicle way easier than expected. Previously I had been unsure about selling when I still had a loan on my vehicle, but SafePay made it totally seamless and easy. I will use Cars & Bids over trading in my vehicle to a dealer 100% of the time moving forward.

I am happy to report a fantastic seller experience dealing with Cars and Bids. Communication was always prompt and responsive. My car was quickly accepted, and I got some expert guidance on how to market the car. The site has traffic from enthusiasts: 32,399 views of my auction and 47 bids. The final bid comfortably exceeded my reserve and by all accounts was "market correct". The only sour note was the winning bidder defaulted due to financing issues. This unfortunate circumstance was expertly handled by Alexis, who first tried to work a deal with the buyer, but had to declare a default early enough to offer the second highest bidder the opportunity. The next bidder accepted the car and it was a terrific transaction for all involved (except for the defaulting bidder, of course). I strongly recommend Cars and Bids for their attention to customer service, broad market exposure, and streamlined process.

Beware of Cars & Bids – A Complete Scam!

We were conned, duped, and scammed by Cars & Bids. They took our money for a professional photo session and wasted over a month of our time dealing with paperwork, only to suddenly decide that our vehicle was not eligible for auction—something they could have told us from the start. This was not an oversight; this was fraud.

We clearly informed them that the vehicle was bonded, yet they still led us through the entire process, making us believe everything was fine. Then, after taking our time, money, and effort, they backed out without any accountability. Their nefarious and despicable business practices show a complete lack of ethics.

Sellers and bidders, beware! Do not trust this shady company. Their business model is deceptive and predatory, and they will happily waste your time and money without any regard for fairness or honesty. Avoid Cars & Bids at all costs!

Cars & Bids has created a wonderful community of automotive enthusiasts. The auction experience was seamless from start to finish and I generated a very successful result selling my car.

Please do your due diligence. A car can have mechanical problems without them noticing. All they care about is making money, and there are no protections for you at all.
