Superb value for money!

Recommend so highly i bought mum some after she loved mine

I bought a set of mats and a boot mat for my mums volvo after she loved the mats I bought for our bmw xi4. The bmw we had found to be problematic due to the pedals, yet carmats4u they fitted perfect, are great price and the edging matched the colour of the car. I thought I would go crazy and added colour edging and colour heel mat for mum. I know she will love them and I feel so confident that they will fit perfectly.

I would strongly advise not ordering…

I would strongly advise not ordering from this company.
I placed an order on 24th March and paid £10 for next day delivery (1–2 days before 1pm) for a boot mat...
The only communication I have received from them was on 26th March, which said:
“Thank you for your recent order with us. We regret to inform you that the specific bootliner you purchased is currently out of stock due to high demand.
We expect new stock to arrive in approximately 2 weeks… Alternatively, we can offer you a diamond rubber boot mat as a substitute, which is in stock and can be dispatched ASAP…
Please let us know which option you would prefer.”
I was happy to accept the alternative diamond rubber boot mat, but the link in their email did not work, so I replied directly by email.
Since then, it is now 30th March, and I have:
Received no product
Had no confirmation that the alternative has been processed
Received no replies to multiple emails
Tried calling them on 01754 613974, but the phone just rings with no answer
I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this has now gone too far. My order is 6 days late, despite paying for next day delivery, and I have had zero updates or communication.
At this point, it’s honestly taking the mick.
I have given them additional time to respond after my last email, but still nothing. If I do not hear back by tomorrow, I will be contacting my bank and reporting this as a potential fraud case.
Very disappointing experience... avoid this company.

We've discovered today that a number of customers have not received the confirmation email when they placed their order. This email includes a link to www.carmats4u.com/track-my-order which allows you to track internally your order.

Unlike our competitors, we allow granular tracking right through the production facility. This is helpful, especially as we provide you the option to request a priority dispatch in cases where the delivery might be taking a little longer than expected.

Looking at the order details, I can you ordered Economy which we ESTIMATE to take around 7 working days. This means delivery should have been made by tomorrow. Looking at the internal tracking, it has passed through the final stages of production today:

However, it still needs to pass through quality control which due to higher than normal volumes, is taking a little longer than usual. This means whilst delivery could be tomorrow, it may be Wednesday.

We provide estimates rather than set deadlines just in case we beat or exceed the delivery window. As we make everything to order right here in the UK, sometimes we can exceed the delivery window but we do keep our customers updated via www.carmats4u.com/contact and www.carmats4u.com/track-my-order

Fingers crossed for delivery tomorrow. Ideally it will be delivered would be within the estimated 7 working days, but be prepared it might be Wednesday. Once it leaves us, the tracking number we provided you will also update as 'collected' and it should be delivered the following working day as we're currently upgrading all Economy deliveries automatically.

Really impressed with these mats

Really impressed with these mats. I love that you can customise them, I opted for the stain protection and it was definitely worth it.
They arrived quickly, and although the bag was open and one mat was missing, the company sorted it straight away and sent a replacement out really quickly, which was great customer service.
The mats themselves fit perfectly and feel really well made. The backing is nice and grippy so they don’t move around at all, which makes a big difference.
Great quality for the price, would 100% recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to order again

Late and very poor communication 2000464750 order

I ordered premium rubber mats and premium boot mat on 19 March. They have still not been despatched 29th March. I wrote asking for priority delivery but got a standard reply that they are busy and you'll get them soon. No mention when they will be despatched nor if they will be sent for next day delivery.

The updates on the website say that they are running 3 days behind. Their website should indicate how longer after placing order are you likely to receive them. It implies it's 3-7 working days for standard delivery but is that from date of order or date produced. If its date produced how long does it take to make. Much clearer delivery information would ensure customers are aware of when they will arrive and stop negative comments. Get your act together.

Tracking shows that Evri still does not have the item. Jack's reply to my review says that delivery should still happen tomorrow as planned! I will update with progress. I used the link to see where I can request priority delivery but I cannot see anywhere to do this. As I requested this in my chaser email to Csrmars4U which they replied to saying it was progressing, why could they not requested the priority delivery fir me? That would have been better customer service. I'll update again tomorrow.

Thank you for getting in touch. Looking at the order, I can see order was processed on the 20th of March which is the first working day of production.

Looking deeper, I can see you chose 'Economy' delivery, this roughly takes around 7 working days to deliver. With this in mind, delivery can take up to the full 7 working days, especially during busy periods.

Our estimated delivery window allows up to tomorrow as the last working day for delivery. Looking at the internal tracking, the item is moving and should still be delivered on time, within your delivery window.

We did send you an email which explains the production process, the same email also gives you an idea on when to expect the order. Did you receive this? Sometimes it can hit your junk folder.

Typically, deliveries arrive within 5 working days outside of peak time, but as explained on our website (at the checkout under shipping policy), during busy periods, delivery may be later or earlier than predicted.

As a proud UK manufacturer, we offer a full bespoke service. We literally cut, style and apply finishes based on your exact order requirements. We make everything from scratch, for you. This is why it can take longer during busy periods.

So why is it taking the full 7 working days? March has proven to be exceptionally busy this year due to the new car vehicle registrations being released. That means a lot of our customers have ordered new cars and of course, as a result, they need car mats. We did of course react to the higher order volumes, by placing extra shifts, late evenings etc to try and keep as close to the estimated delivery window.

The policy product is not true what is written on their website

I had a bad experience with Carmats4u. Two weeks ago ago I bought my car mat Michelin apparently. The quality is so thin like a cardboard It creases very easily, and I have the photos to prove it .on their website they show:Not completely satisfied? Return your order within 60 days in original condition for a full refund. 4x longer than industry standard, but in reality they ask for photos confirming the product is damaged, and if it isn’t damaged but you’re not satisfied with the quality, they ask you to send the product back at your own expense, even though theire says something completely different. I call this a scam . I bought another car mat but after this experience I cancelled immediately my order . Never I’m getting in to this website . The customer service is good but not helpful , they repeat the same thing like a robot . The customer service called to resolve the issue not to hear the same sentence . I emailed them few times . If you have ordered with us then first of all, I want to confirm you do have up to 60 days to return your product. This is indeed clear on our website. We also offer a free exchange for items that don't fit perfectly.

However in this case, it sounds like you've ordered the entry level carpet and you were potentially looking for something thicker? Again, our website does confirm free returns are applicable if the goods don't fit the vehicle you've ordered for. That's our perfect fit guarantee. In cases where you want to change the colour or grade, we do give you 60 days to do this but returns are typically covered by the customer.

As customer satisfaction matters to us, we'd be happy on this occasion to exchange the mats for something you'd prefer for free, regardless of fit.

Based on this experience, I found their customer service to be fantastic - I've therefore updated my original review to reflect the excellent service I received.

Original Review:
The mats and boot liner I ordered are mediocre at best. I got the Michelin mats option, they do fit but they’re thin and the rubber section on the drivers mat constantly catches the heel of your foot. I have average men’s size 10 feet so plainly the runner insert is badly positioned in relation to the peddles.
The boot liner was just a piece of moulded plastic, thin, slippery and actually didn’t fit properly at all.
Lastly, delivery is very misleading. The stated delivery is from the time they’ve made it and dispatched it which in my case took over three weeks - if I’d have known that when ordering I wouldn’t have bothered as I wanted them quickly.
I’ve had to reorder mats and boot liner from a different company and these are going in the bin - such a shame as I had high hopes.

But lets dive in to see what we can do. First of all, the position of the heel pad. If the heel pad is positioned in way that makes driving difficult for you, then we can supply a new drivers mat with the heel pad located further forward. Would this help?

Secondly, you mention about the boot liner. Yes, as described on the website, this is manufactured from a heavy duty PVC material which means it will last for at least 10 years. The material is very easy to clean and maintain and it also doesn't stain.

In respect of fit of the boot liner, we guarantee a perfect fit or free return / exchange. If the item doesn't fit as expected, it's likely you need a different generation / model which we can help you with.

Finally, it sounds like there was a delay which some customers who placed their order at the start of the month felt. I'm so sorry about this. We had nearly 2000 orders more than we expected and this could a ripple of delays throughout the production facility. We've been working extended hours to help us catchup and weekends.

So again, if you wish to return the mats or exchange them, this is not a problem. We offer lots of different varieties for all budgets.

I recently ordered the premium car mat

I recently ordered a premium car mat set for £80 for my Vauxhall Grandland placing the order on 14th March, and it arrived today. I’ll admit I was a bit concerned after seeing quite a few negative reviews, especially regarding delivery times.

That said, while the delivery was slightly later than expected, I’m really happy with the product itself. The quality is very good — the mats feel durable, well-made, and definitely worth the price. They fit nicely and give the car a much more warmer feeling.

Overall, despite the slight delay and initial worries, I’m pleased with my purchase and would recommend them and will defo buy from them again in the future.

Delayed Order - Exceptional Support Response

** UPDATE - March 26 2026 **

Received contact from the managing director within the same day of raising my concern here on TrustPilot.

They took ownership of the situation and offered an apology for the experience thus far. An exceptional solution was provided and I was able to see an immediate effect of this, essentially they kept to their word.

I have received confirmation that the items ordered are being shipped via DPD, and should arrive shortly.

Whilst problems can occur with any company - it's how they respond to a poor customer experience that truly shows their business conduct. Based on the response from the managing director - I can safely say they put the customer first.

Feedback was provided about my experience, which they intend to action and make improvements, so that's a bonus too.

Recommended.

** Initial Review - March 25 2026 **

Placed an order on the 9th of March for a set of car mats for two vehicles, it’s now the 25th of March and my order hasn’t shifted from stage 1 of 3.

Contacted customer support by email on the 16th of March only to receive an automated response with link to check order status on website.

Second attempt to contact support 22nd of March, met with a massive paragraph outlining their excuse for the delay, along with a request to wait — just another 48 hours — for the dispatch of orders. Those 48 hours expired yesterday, March 24th. The support team must be sending these en masse as any effort to check my order would show no dispatch time, and it’s not in production.

Third attempt to contact support 25th March by phone - since I'm fed up now of waiting - all of a sudden it's now just waiting on a label to be created and the order will be with me by the end of the week. Yet the website doesn't change at all to reflect this - still stage 1 of 3.

I am not confident that I'll get my order by the end of the week. It's a fairly dismal experience having to contact the company three times to get them to shift things along.

What an awful experience. Do not recommend.

I have since emailed you directly. I also spotted you might have missed our order tracking page?

www.carmats4u.com/track-my-order which shows you the latest tracking internally. The issue with stage 1 only showing via your email was simply the missing tracking link.

Our internal tracking shows progress throughout the factory. You can also request immediate dispatch / help via the track my order page without having to email us directly.

Since my email, we've concluded that the tracking ID was not automatically added to your order at the point of dispatch so this prevents us tracking the order any further with the courier. We have however, immediately actioned a replacement and a new tracking ID will be added today manually to ensure it's passed over and is indeed trackable via the couriers website.

Thank you for providing the order number, this has been really helpful.

So I've looked into the order and I can see the issue. The order was indeed manufactured and it was sent to dispatch. However, as the delivery location is Ireland, these are handled differently in terms of courier collection. Normally labels are created at the point of the order being processed, but any orders that are due for delivery to Ireland, the labels are created upon dispatch.

So reading the internal tracking, the order was packed and dispatched, the missing link however is the tracking number being assigned. Our internal systems will only show movement once the tracking number has been assigned. This is a serious issue as without the tracking ID, we can't confirm the order ever made it to the courier.

So what I'm going to do for you is issue with a replacement to be sent to you at no extra cost. In the meantime, I will reach out to you directly via email to talk about what we will do to resolve this with you.

Please accept my sincerest apologies for this. We need to look at the internal tracking process to ensure all orders, especially those that are not UK bound are still fully trackable.

This is a highly principled company to deal with which I highly recommend

I unfortunately gave this company a one star review yesterday due to a misunderstanding with the order. The company have come back to me today and this matter has been resolved ànd I am now to receive the rubber boot mat for my Dacia Jogger which I thought I had ordered. The company have been very fair and have even allowed me to keep the floor mats which they originally sent me which shows the good principles that this company deals with its customers. I hope that my initial review is removed by trustpilot as the matter has been totally resolved to my satisfaction ànd I would highly recommend this company to any prospective customers

I'm very confused by your review as looking at the order, you did choose to order car mats, not a boot mat:

To fit Dacia Jogger (2021 - Present) Rubber Car Mats

Looking at the delivery window you chose (7 working days), as you ordered car mats on the Sunday, these were put into production on the following Monday which was the first working day. I can see the mats were indeed delivered yesterday which was the 7th working day so delivery was made on time.

If the route of the complaint here is that you thought you had ordered a rubber boot mat from us and you're disappointed to learn you had ordered car mats instead, then I'm really sad to read such comments. Especially when I read delivery was also made on time.

I don't know if you're aware but we do allow free returns / exchange so if you're looking for a rubber boot mat, we would have been more than happy to exchange the mats for you at no cost.

Finally, in respect of the price and what you paid on ebay. It's very likely you paid less, that will be down to where the products you purchased are actually sourced from and indeed the materials they are made from. Our rubber materials are REACH certified which means they're sourced and manufactured from 100% rubber materials which will not pose a health hazard. Our rubber materials are also very durable and will indeed outlast chose cheaper alternatives you talk about.

So please, I would ask that you reach out to myself directly so we can look at resolving your issue. We're here to help and will resolve all issues quickly, even if you had decided to order elsewhere.

These are quality car mats

These are quality car mats, i've ordered two sets now for both of our cars, they fit perfectly and are colour matched to suit each vehicle.
We had issues with our local Volvo car dealer so we used Carmats4U, a far better service keeping us updated during the ordering and delivery process, would definetly recommend and use again.
