Klavs my car inspector was absolutely fantastic, he certainly knew what to look for and revealed everything that had been highlighted by the garage that had serviced the car I was looking to buy for over 12 years. He identified all the areas that the service garage had highlighted including a faulty gearbox, oil leaks and the Liszt goes on. Klavs kindly followed up the inspection with a professional review of car and advice on repair costs. As a consequence I did not purchase the car and Klavs inspection saved me from a nightmare waiting to happen. Outstanding in every way. Thank you Klavs, excellent and professional service 🙏

While the report appeared largely thorough, I was concenred about the inspectors comments that he felt rushed. He was on site for 4 hours, during which he spent a considerable amount of time on his phone conducting personal business.
I am not surprised the vendor wanted him to hurry up! He wanted to get home.
The result of this was limited inspection of the specific concerns I'd raised. It left me feeling it was not an entirely professional approach

I can’t recommend CarExamer enough. First time using an inspection service and having been put off by AA’s pricing, I went searching for an alternative and came across CE. They got good reviews on here and their price was much more reasonable, the service was fantastic. The seller commented on how good they were too. Extremely thorough, the report was compiled with so much detail and the inspector Klavs was more than happy to take calls to discuss the vehicle. It gave me absolute confidence to go ahead with the purchase and also allowed me to get a little more off the purchase price too. I will absolutely use Car Examer again and have already recommended them to multiple people.

When buying a car I would say anything over £8k and/or the car is located far away I would suggest using Carexamer for having your car inspected before purchasing. I got 2 tests done with them and they were very insightful. First car I avoided after they tested it but the second car was perfect. Bought the car just under a year ago and only the other day I had an issue with it but thankfully it was a common issue which the car manufacturer will fix for no additional cost. Will use them again when buying my next car!

Excellent service, the engineer who inspected was obviously very knowledgeable and proficient. Sadly the car was not as advertised so I was very pleased that this was immediately picked up and reported back by phone prior to the report being published. Will use this firm again for sure.

Great experience! I can't recommend this service enough and Klavs made it very easy for us. He was very helpful on the phone to give us a full report of the car we had inspected. The report was very thorough and in conclusion we would have bought a car that had a lot wrong with it. He was very knowledgeable and used his experience to detect an issue, which lead him to other issues. Very nice to work with as well!

They did a car inspection on a used car I wanted to buy as I was unsure on the vehicles true condition and thought it was not as described.

From booking it to receiving the examiners report took 3 days and confirmed that the car was not as immaculate as described due to poorly repaired paint work and poor mechanics.
Thankfully saved me paying out £6350 for a BMW with no V5C to hand and made up maintenance.

I signed up for Car Examer car inspection after the quote they gave on their website. I gave the location of the car and the cars reg number during the process, they agreed on a price then when I booked they said it will be an extra £100. I spoke to a girl called Ana on the virtual assistant who was rude and couldn't get through on the phone. I've now booked with the RAC and received great customer service.

I have used CarExamer services four times now and they always end up being extremely useful when buying a used car. This last time they actually saved me from making a big mistake buying a car that would have extra Potential repair costs of £460. So they saved me money and a big headache. Special thanks to Klaus!

My experience was great! I originally went to AA and RAC, went to book but waiting times were over a week!

All I can say a fantastic service far superior to anything aa or rac can offer. Klavs Simkus was extremely through and offered such good advice about the car and was so friendly and professional. He spent his time and sent video of his examination.

I had also another inspection on another car and the inspector was honest enough to advice me not to purchase the car as the work repairing the car which very good on the outside hid the rust and repairs underneath. Thanks to Inspector: Hassan Jiwa who helped me make the right decision.

I can't recommend them enough but go for premium as you find out how good the car is underneath.
