Got signed up to the monthly service by Rightio in January. I was disappointed by Rightio's service so I switched to British Gas. I tried to cancel this monthly service but the Care Club didn't agree - haven't used a single penny of the service and won't be using it. Cancellation policy not included in original pdf I got from Rightio and doesn't fit legal framework in my opinion.

The service was really appalling. My elderly mum’s toilet had an internal blockage and it took 72 hours and 4 visits from different engineers, before we eventually called a plumber ourselves who took 10 minutes to unblock the toilet. Numerous calls and emails and a notification from Scottish Water to explain it was an internal issue and needed a plumber. I explained so many times that my mum was 80 and had just come out of hospital after major surgery and this was her only toilet and they still didn’t fix the issue. My mum pays £12 a month for a service that not only did she not get, but actually prevented her from getting help. They were neglectful and caused harm. I have repeatedly requested for feedback on why it went so wrong and have had no response. Apparently there are no managers available to speak to customers at any time. I actually feel sorry for the staff answering the calls as they seem to have no support or any autonomy to make a decision.

Service was excellent with polite and helpful telephone conversation followed by a friendly and very helpful engineer who did a great job.

the biggest thanks needs to go to Behdad the plumber. He was fantastic and went out of his way to fix the problem and check for associated issues. I cannot thank him enough for his calm and professional manner and for his creative and quick thinking. Thank you very much Behdad

March 2025, Had a leak on my boiler, the Careclub team sent an engineer out. He tried to fix the issue but found he needed a part. Ordered the part and a few days later came to fix it. After he left had a problem with the boiler tripping out, without a boiler for 4 days (Cold days with kids in house), when they eventually came again they sent a young lad who seemed a little green. He did something to the boiler, then left. When we started to use the boiler again, there was a smell of burning. So we stopped using the boiler and called them again. A different guy came out and said whatever the boy did, burned the boiler out. I complained to Careclub and they said, they can give us a good deal on a new boiler. £4000.00! I promptly contacted a local plumber to quote me He offered me a higher rated boiler larger output guaranteed work and 5 year guarantee for £3500.
Then to add salt to the wound, when I tried to cancel careclub, they threatened me, because I was still within the contract period and if I didn't continue paying, they would take legal action. Stay well away from these criminals!

I had asked for a technician to do some plumbing in my home and the company sent me someone within 24 hours! Very impressive. The service was first class and the plumber was very efficient and friendly. The work was completed within an hour and I was more than pleased with the result.

The engineer came out the day after we reported the problem. He even phoned to let us know when he would be with us on the day.
He repaired the U bend with very little fuss and leaving no mess behind.
Would recommend Care Club to anyone.

Very happy with the whole experience. Job was completed quickly and efficiently the following day. Customer Care were friendly and polite in booking the job and the plumber was also friendly and took the time to explain the solution. We were kept informed at every step regarding his arrival.

Took over 2 weeks to get my toilet flush. Phoned up on 16th July was told they couldn't come until the 21st of July July then told on the morning should of come there wasn't anyone to come as the workmen had phoned in sick and it would have to rebook for them to fix it which it was arranged for 24th July where a lovely gentleman came out but was very apologetic that he could only do a temporary repair as a new part was needed and he didn't want to leave a wheelchair user without a toilet and he would or the part right away and it should be here the following monday/Tuesday. Still had arrived on the Wednesday so phoned to see where it was to be told it still hadn't arrived and didn't know when it would arrive or fitted it i told them was discusting to have to wait this long especially as a wheelchair user and I certainly wouldn't be recommending Care Club to my friends in the future. Finally it was fixed on the 30th july by the gentleman who came the first time a extremely unhappy customer.
