Would be a 5 star as the assessor was brilliant he really took his time and had patience with me during actual assessment, the only thing which was annoying was the amount of time the whole process... See more

The irony is getting my assessment with Care ADHD has been the least ADHD friendly experience I have ever had. I have had to chase for months to get details of my appointments, and I am still waiting for a titration appointment 8 months after my initial assessment.

The lady who took my meeting was absolutely brilliant. On the teams call she made me feel so at ease, understood and fully informed of everything that was being discussed. I find it very difficult to speak about certain topics and she was extremely attentive and compassionate towards me and checked in with me throughout the entire duration of the call, which made me feel as though I could share personal matters a lot easier. This meant a lot to me as this assessment was something I was nervous for prior. Her name was Cheyenne Roberts.

This clinic is putting profit above patient wellbeing.
The waiting times are excessive and the communication about it really poor. If you don't have the capacity you shouldn't accept new patients and let them go to other clinics instead. Instead you are leaving patients that need help on a waiting list and give them waiting times you don't stick to.
Waiting time information for titration was now quietly removed from the website after reaching 6 months. There is also no clear confirmation email that you're on the waiting list and they received all the forms successfully which causes further causes stress in vulnerable patients.
They also haven't responded to my email request after more than 2 weeks, saying the wait time for that is 1-2 weeks.

Excellent service and very fast. NHS was several years. Michelle is very compassionate and kind. Thank you

Good luck with wait times or support.
The service is quite alright when it works, but the wait times are way too long. Reaching out to support is also incredibly hard. Even for very small queries, you might be waiting over an hour on the phone.
Just so frustrating.

The first appointment went great and smoothly and the assessor was kind. I assumed that would be the hard part over however tritation had an estimated time of 8-12 weeks. This was fine however it's been 3 months with not even a slight hint of an update to this and not only that they have also removed the estimated time from the page of the website. This alone is an awful decision and you will not be able to contact them about this as the response times are very slow.

I have had a pretty poor experience with Care ADHD from start to finish.
I waited ages for my assessment with zero communication and it was impossible to get hold of anybody for an update. They desperately need some kind of patient portal.
The assessment itself was fine although felt very rushed and tick boxy, not in depth. It lasted only 45 minutes.
I then waited for months for a titration, again with zero updates, impossible to get hold of anyone, endless emails with no replies.
I've now started my titration. My initial titration appointment was good, the guy seemed to know what he was doing and he cared about my wellbeing.
My experience with follow up appointments has been really really poor. The prescriber was totally un-interested, unbothered, sounded like they were following a script and ticking off questions. I said that I was struggling mentally with the ADHD and the Elvanse and the response was 'OK, next question'. I wasn't offered any advice for dealing with side effects – I've had more help from Reddit forums than I have from anybody at Care ADHD. I raised the issue with Care ADHD about the uninterested prescriber and lo-and-behold, nobody got back to me, I just recieved an automated email. I feel that I'm not being listened to, nobody at this organisation actually cares about my wellbeing, they are just working for an easy pay cheque.
Since the follow up they haven't prescribed my medication, so I'm waiting without and I don't know when I'll be receiving it.
I honestly think a lot of these positive reviews are fake because Care ADHD seems like a total cowboy operation to me.
UPDATE: The response below is complete rubbish because I have submitted several complaints to the Care ADHD website and none of my feedback is taken on board. I've also been doing some research on this 'company' and have seen they pay non-medical prescribers £37 for doing 30-minute clinic sessions. The people working here do not care about you or your wellbeing, they just want to make a quick buck. Run away from this company.

When I first started my diagnosis journey with careadhd I honestly thought the process was easy and simple but soon realised it wasn’t easy and simple whatsoever! When I was first diagnosed in October 2025 the assessment went great and was told between 16-20 weeks for medication, we’re now in July 2026 and still no medication!!
I’ve had my first Tritation appointment on the 28th may, the appointment did not go as expected, they requested me to have a ECG which is absolutely fine but this could of been requested between October 2025 - May 2026 so my appointment went smoother and I’d be on my medication. Since having my ECG careadhd claimed they never got the result which they did 3 week prior to me chasing a update, since then another 3 weeks on I still have no update when I can start my medication, I have chased and chased and have been told it takes 6-8 weeks to review the results, this is beyond a joke.
I wouldn’t recommend anyone starting with them as the journey is long and painful, I initially chose them due to less wait times and having good feedback, I understand things can change but to be messed around and having to chase them constantly I can no longer say I would recommend them to anyone.

I had a great experience with care adhd. I was prevuously on a long RTC waiting list and moved over to care adhd and was assessed so quickly after filing my patient questionaire forms. I was assessed carefully and thouroughly with care and understanding. I was immediately informed of my assessment outcome and what to expect next. I would highly reccomend care adhd for those seeking clarification on adhd symptoms.

Still waiting for an email back to find out what's going to happen next after I told them 2 things the paperwork was wrong. No one has messaged me back so I don't know what's going on now and how long it takes for them to send the letter to the G. P. They were very friendly on the video call. Just wish it wasn't hard for somebody to email me back.

I’m honestly devastated by the removal of titration waiting‑time information after seeing it go from 12 weeks, to 16, then three months, and now is anyone's guess.
I’ve been holding onto this process as the one thing giving me hope and structure, and now I feel completely abandoned.Living with ADHD is already exhausting. Adding uncertainty on top of that, especially from the very service meant to support, has left me feeling invisible and unimportant.
Medical gaslighting at its finest.

I've had a great experience with CARE ADHD so far. I was able to book an assessment very quickly once my forms were submitted (it was overall a very speedy process once my GP had sent the correct information for the referral) and the assessor, Olusola Orekoya, was very knowledgeable, polite, understanding and professional. I also communicated with Lucy Palmer over email, who was very polite and helpful. I am pleased to finally have answers, thank you CARE ADHD team!

The lady on the teams call was really friendly and kept me on topic. The assessment was really relaxed and easy going. I really appreciated that she confirmed a diagnosis at the end of the assessment. It’s good to actually know.

I chose CareADHD through right to choose as they had low waiting times and good reviews. Initially my experience was really positive and I was diagnosed very quickly. Since then, I have been waiting nearly 5 months for a titration appointment. Initially, I was told that I would be seen within 12 weeks. Every time I have emailed them asking where I am on the waiting list, I receive the same automated email with no useful information after 10 days. I called today and was told that the waiting time is now 26 weeks, but I had to call to find this out and no doubt this will keep extending. The lady on the phone also told me I had another form to fill in, yet in all the the automated emails I was told I had nothing further to do. It's really disappointing and frustrating when I already have a diagnosis, and I'm stuck on a waiting list with no end in sight and no communication. I can't go elsewhere for titration as other companies require an assessment through them, and I'm getting to my wits end at this point.

Sarah was so understanding and made me feel so comfortable, I felt like she was actually listening to me. Everything has felt straight forward and response time very quick. I was so anxious about the whole process but didnt need to be.

Daughter was referred to this company over 9 weeks ago. Their current wait time on the Right to Choose website states 4 weeks for under 18s. We have had zero response from our referral. We have emailed and sent online enquiries. We have tried to get through on their phone line numerous times, waiting well over an hour with no answer. We have used their ring back service and have simply not had any response or conversation with anybody. It would be great if they just communicated.
