Would be a 5 star as the assessor was brilliant he really took his time and had patience with me during actual assessment, the only thing which was annoying was the amount of time the whole process... See more

I found my Assessment came much earlier than I anticipated. I didn’t have to wait very long at all for a Right To Choose Assessment.
My Assessor was Very Good and put me at easy as I was anxious about the assessment.

After struggling and not knowing what's going on the best thing my GP did was to put me on the rite to choose pathway the response time was really quick compared to the normal waiting list with the NHS which I was on originally, to finally get diagnosed gave me a sense of clarity finally and a sort of closure for beating my self up for many many years, the team and service they offer are fantastic. Also the medication I have been put on is changing my life to be honest, I still can't believe it a tiny little tablet is helping me function which I call normal, still have not hit my ideal dose yet but I am only a month in but confident it will work. But yeah highly recommend these guys and thanks for giving me the answers I needed.

Originally was very impressed when I received my forms and then assessment appointment fairly quickly. My assessor was great, friendly and reassuring but she told me I would hear from her within the hour to let me know the outcome, i had to call up for the next week to chase this and was told they will tell her to call me. Eventually a week later I received an email from her saying she had attempted to call multiple times which she hadn’t.
After diagnosis I was told there would be a 12 week wait for my first titration appointment which I was shocked by, considering my friend who was diagnosed by a different service had her first titration appointment at the end of her assessment. Now I am 6 months in and still haven’t got an appointment date and advisors on the phone or live chat are no help at all, they send generic responses and have zero empathy or compassion.
It seems as though they keep their waiting times looking low by getting people assessed quickly, to then leave them waiting for what feels like a life time, struggling with a new diagnosis and radio silence from CARE ADHD.
It’s also worrying their excuse for this is that they are ‘low on providers’ when they aren’t hiring.. so how are they going to rectify this? Seems like we will be waiting forever for medication. DO NOT recommend.

Excellent. Work, efficient and very well detailed. I felt at ease through the process and it was very quick.

I disliked the forms you had to fill in some questions where easy, but one question was too long and I made a mistake and had to start again as it didn't save . Was very frustrated
So an easier way please cause if you have and get diagnosed with ADHD you don't have the patience

I didn't have to wait long for an assessment. Booking assessment was easy and communication was really good. Pre- assessment information was helpful particularly to opportunity to view someone having their assessment discussion.
My report is extremely useful.

Hi im Gabriel Cutler, diagnosed yb careadhd in 2026 at 53 years old.
After waiting for nearly ten years to get assessed by the NHS I went through the right to choose option and found the Centre. Once I had got all the nonsense with the NHS sorted I appointed careadhd.co.uk for my assesment, ive known along time im on the spectrum but had no idea to what degree and just how much it effected my daily life.
Through out the entire process careadhd where as helpful as they could possibly be - although i get a feeling they might be a little short staffed on the phone front :)
My assement appointment once the right to choose was authorised by the NHS happened within WEEKS - not months, not years - WEEKS.
Day of my assement i had a video conferance with a woman called Bronwyn, very polite, very understanding, knew exactly how to get my focus back when my mind wondered off. Bronwyn (quickly I suspect) diagnosed with me dual ADHD. I cried. Grown man, cried at someone finally putting a name and agreeing with me about my diagnosis (even though i was trying to hide my adhd during the interview)
I would recomend Bronwyn and the Care Adhd team to ANYONE waiting for diagnosis.
Now the hard part is over to me, stuff to follow up on to sort out my treatment - only been two months I been meaning to sort that out (little adhd humour there) - but I will do as its no good having a broken leg, if you dont do something to fix it.
Cant thank Bronwyn and the team enough.

They advertise a 2 week wait for the RTC path after forms are completed. I followed up after a 10 week delay post completion of forms to see what happened and they told me they have a wait of 52 weeks and pointed me to their private service. I flagged that they were misleading patients by providing knowingly false wait times across their site and third party advertisements. They refused any responsibility and are still currently advertising a 2 week wait. I have reported them to the CQC, Trading Standards and the Ombudsman.

I decided to use after 2 people I know had also used. I found the process quick and easy. The assesment wasn't as bad as I was expecting. I have now recommended others after my experience.
