I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Car Call has been extremely disappointing and needs to be shared.

What should have been a straightforward non-fault claim has turned into months of stress, delays, and unnecessary hassle. From the outset, there was a clear lack of organisation and proper handling. Key elements of my claim — particularly my ceramic coating — were not prioritised despite me raising this multiple times early on.

Instead of being dealt with at the beginning, this was left until the very end of the process, causing avoidable disputes with the third-party insurer and leaving me out of pocket.

Communication has been inconsistent throughout. I’ve been given conflicting and misleading information on several occasions, and more recently I’ve found myself having to chase updates daily, despite being told action would be taken.

At one stage, I was even told the third party would be contacted urgently — only to find no action had been taken at all.

As a result of this poor handling:
- My claim has been unnecessarily prolonged for months
- I have suffered financial loss
- I have spent significant time chasing something that should have been managed for me

For a company that is supposed to handle claims and reduce stress, the experience has been the complete opposite.

I would strongly advise others to think carefully before using Car Call. Based on my experience, there appears to be a serious lack of accountability, urgency, and proper claim management.

I am still awaiting full resolution of my claim.

Car call UK to the rescue!!!!

They were brilliant. Whilst i was shook from the incident they arranged everything around me. Hire car, repairs, car collection, insurance, they dealt with all of it while i continued on with lifes necessities. They kept me informed via email and phone calls and all costs were put to the insurance of the at fault party. It was a real load off of my mind.

Carol Hulme is a great person to talk to

Had a really lovely phone call with Carol Hulme today - she was funny and nice to talk to and took so much time and care over everything, making sure I understood what she was saying and giving lots of detail about why she was asking some questions so I understood the context. She was very patient when I had questions and gave me some reassurances about the process and the next steps, timeframes etc. I felt so pleased I had spoken to her because I've never been through a process like this before and wasn't sure what to expect. I think she has definitely found her calling as she is professional yet still very genuine and warm, providing customer service that is more than just reading from a script. Its this kind of service I really value and appreciate - thank you Carol :)

Please avoid! Stay with your own insurance

I was informed my car was a category N and written off. I was told they could dispose of the car or that I could dispose of the car myself. My claim was then dropped by car call and I have had to go through my insurance. When car call dropped the claim, I was told my insurance might not request the same amount of money from the third party. This is something I was never told when I received the total loss document, and I had already borrowed money to buy a new car on the promise that they were acquiring the specified amount. Today my insurance as told me that the car not even been officially written off. I am outraged that this was never mentioned, and I am now substantially out of pocket due to Car Calls lack of honesty. Avoid at all costs!!

My claim wasn’t an easy one as it…

My claim wasn’t an easy one as it involved a hit and run. Thankfully, we had some details about the other vehicle, which of course helped my case.
Tianna and CarCall did a great job reaching out to the third party and pushing for them to accept liability, which thankfully they did in the end.
They were easy to contact and always responded quickly. Tianna handled everything very well, and I really appreciate her effort and support throughout the process.
They do work with two other legal partners, which was a bit confusing for me at the beginning, especially as this was my first claim. However, despite that initial confusion, everything was resolved successfully in the end.
Thanks again to Tianna and CarCall — I truly appreciate your help and professionalism.

I handed my car over to the Car Call UK team for a trouble free experience

Once I handed my car over to the team at Car Call UK, everything was handled smoothly by them. Yes there were sone forms to fill out, some emails to deal with, they dealt with the other drivers insurance direct. No need for me to be in touch with them.
