They keep calling me to get them to move to their accountancy. I have repeatedly said NO. I don't think they are doing business ethically, I don't feel confident in doing work with them.

I have sent them an email warning them that I'll be reporting them to UK trading standards.

Having been cold called, I requested info which was sent promptly and it looked like a good deal. Came on here to check them out and am interested to see that all the positive reviews were written in the same week and yet the two poor ones are at "random" times. Obviously, it is only my cynical mind, but that seems a bit odd for me. Gave 3 stars as it's middle I haven't actually used them!

I entered a contract with CAPS-IT and I was very disappointed from day 1 when they asked me my personal ID and password for HMRC accounts so they can access my accounts to do their job. I felt very unsafe. This is the worst thing an accountancy company can do imo (they said this is how they work with all their clients). I asked them to give me their government gateway ID so I can appoint them as my agents on HMRC portal (which is how the portal works) but I haven't got one - I don't even think they are registered with HMRC.
My suggestion to CAPS-IT would be to learn how to make their clients feel safe and inspire trust.
I'm really sorry to say it, but based on this experience I wouldn't recommend them.

After having tried other accounting firms over the years - I must say with CAPS-IT you receive a personal & professional service by a knowledgeable team. They often go above and beyond the call of duty to help the client ! ** Highly Recommended ! **

I have been using CAPS IT as a freelance and also as accountants for my registered companies. They do a good job and I never had any issue since I started using their services about three years back. They have good people who make sure the paperwork etc is all done in time and with full transparency and trust.

Excellent customer service and very supportive and understanding staff.
Couldn't get any better service than this.

I recommend this company, I am very pleased with the service for the last 2 years and this is the 3rd company I used (Including the well known SJD).
I was curious about the bad reviews and was surprised that none of them had actually used the service, they put one star because the person on the phone was not a good salesman, that's harsh (They do have to improve that though).
I like that they are good with the timelines and they give me filling options and advices. I think they are a good option for a freelance like me.

Worked with Caps IT for almost 3 years now. Fantastic team to work with, very flexible and knowledgeable in their domain. Swift in responding to queries. Good understanding tax systems in many countries.

Invasive spam calls, dont think this is a legit company, so one star. They suck. I bet they buy their reviews too

The lady on the spam call gets 5 stars though, I kept asking her to spell the company name over and over and over and over and she kept doing it so good job.

Accountants in CAPS are very knowledgeable and they provide excellent professional service. They have responded each and every query as quickly as possible with useful guidance. I would recommend them.

People at CAPS IT do an excellent work. They are approchable at anytime, very responsive on queries and willing to help and accommodate customers when possible. They are knowledgeable and trustworthy.

Excellent personal Service by a friendly and conscientious team

Very competitive, knowledgeable, trust worthy, patient and talented group of people in Caps IT. They know their business very well and approachable all the time. They have loads of patience to answer all my queries and help beyond the mile. Accountancy services are on time and I am informed all the time on the emails and their online application. I have been introduced by a friend to CAPS-IT. I use to get medium servies from my previous accountant. These guys are exceeding my expectations. They are dedicated and provide real personal service, even remind you by phone deadlines not to be missed. Excellent service.

Very evasive on the phone. I asked where they acquired my data and they dodged the question, suggesting it was bought somewhere.
I asked to lodge a subject access request (GDPR) and they hung up.

Not the sort of behaviour I'd expect from accountants who would usually operate from a position of trust.
