I never received the reward discount…

I never received the reward discount that was promised when I clicked on their coupon. When I contacted their customer service and sent copies of the purchase and my credit card statement they gave me the runaround for 2 weeks and I never got the reward

Scam Partners

Writing this review because Capital One Shopping sent me to Ticketsmarter.com which is a scam website that doesn't even sell real tickets. You would think Capital One would properly vet the companies that want to be vendors on their service. It seems like any online liar, like Ticketsmarter.com, can sign up and have customers sent to them through Capital One.

Got some minor rewards

Got some minor rewards, spent more time tracking the long delays than its worth. Final straw was $50 reward to spend $150 on a gift card site. Guess what? Never received the reward, impossible to contact the company. Plus you'd need a lawyer to explain all the terms and exceptions which are several pages long and use complex language.

I would give zero stars if possible

I would give zero stars if possible. While I was on the D'Artagnan website a Capital One Shopping Offer came up offering me a Reward of $60 if I spent more than a certain amount. I far exceeded the required minimum, completing my order on the same window that the offer had appeared on. Before completing my purchase, several times another Capital One smaller window came up. When checking through "Bing" about these windows I was advised to not accept any of the lesser offers they presented, of for instance 1%, because that would cancel out and replace the original more generous offer (pretty sneaky of Cap One). I followed this advise and completed my order using the original window the $60 offer appeared in. After seeing that there was no pending reward showing on the Capital One Shopping Site after several days, I called to check on it. The result was several people BS'ing me until I finally got a Supervisor who at first basically told me " Oh, sorry, it didn't go through for some reason"...in other words "tough". When I persisted, I was assured by this person that she would check futher as to what could be done to make it right, and that she would call me back the next day. Its 3 days later and she never called me back. I believe Capital One Shopping is designed to be intentionally deceptive in order to obtain more transactions for Capital One. It is remarkably difficult to use, while at the same time claiming to be nearly automatic by Capital One. It amounts to fraud by omission and deception. I think someone should institute a Class Action Suite and require them to refund all the folks they've ripped off, and to clean up their act or shut down the website.

Capital One Shopping is really just a giant marketing engine

Capital One Shopping has a huge marketing footprint, and most people don’t realize the rewards system is:
- Slow
- Unreliable
- Often misleading
- Not cash
- Frequently unredeemable
It is just a site to start sending you MANY emails. The rewards take like 90 days and even IF they finally work only good for gift cards. It presents like you are getting a discount....but that is not true. Unless you just like getting lots of emails - don't sign up!

Cashback Scam? Order Marked Ineligible Without Valid Reason

Here’s a more polished and clear version of your message:

---

This is extremely disappointing. I carefully reviewed all the terms, conditions, and listed exceptions for the cashback offer before making my purchase. The only exclusion mentioned was for gift card purchases.

I ordered shoes from Skechers.com, which clearly does not fall under that exception. Despite this, my purchase was marked as ineligible, and I never received the cashback.

Based on the stated terms, my order should have qualified. I would appreciate a proper review of this issue and a clear explanation for why the cashback was denied.

Avoid Capital One Shopping

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience with Capital One Shopping. Unfortunately, it has been very disappointing. Fraud activity wiped out rewards I had accumulated over several years, and the resolution process was extremely unhelpful. This experience has seriously impacted my trust in the service, and I’m reconsidering my relationship with the company.

DO NOT USE Capital One EXTENSION!!

DO NOT USE THIS EXTENSION.
they will send you emails encouraging you to shop because they are offering generous rewards, but guess what, you never get them!
I made two huge purchases prompted by emails I received. Purchases I never would’ve made had I not received emails sent to me by Capital One.
After I did not receive my rewards for these purchases, I went back-and-forth with the company through MULTIPLE emails. Sending receipts, screenshots, getting a hold of the merchants having them send me invoices as they requested I do. Receiving them in the wrong format, then getting them in the format that they wanted. SO MUCH OF MY TIME WASTED. I gave them everything they asked for and then some. When they still refused to grant me my rewards they told me to wait till the return period was over and that was why they were not showing up and then I would receive my rewards.
I DID NOT RECEIVE THEM and now I am unable to return the products also.
There is no customer service phone number. If you ask for someone to call you, they won’t.
USE RAKUTEN extension. Rewards are straightforward and you always receive them.
There are other extensions that I have not used and they may be just as good as RAKUTEN but please please please do not use Capital One. IT IS CLASSIC BAIT AND SWITCH.

I received an email to receive a $25…

I received an email to receive a $25 reward for placing a $50 order at Chewy. I contacted Capital One Shopping multiple times to prove that my Chewy order was for $50, although it posted as 2 smaller dollar amounts due to from where the order was shipped. I was provided 2 different Capital One Shopping emails to submit documentation, neither of which worked bc my emails kicked back each time as undelivered. They told me I would be contacted by customer service, which never happened. I will never use their extension again. Too difficult to collect their rewards.

Awful

Awful !

I used several of the % offers to build up in my account to redeem. Month later nothing, notta, zilch...

I completed several offers, all stuck "pending"...

Account seemed to be "stuck" in verification review AFTER I went to try to redeem for gift cards. After that was done, pending, congratulations here's $xx in your account you cant use...

No way to contact them, no explanation on how to redeem, but, low and behold countless emails a day to click and earn more $$$ for my C1 Shopping account that I can not use.

Fraud !!!

As stated by previous other reviews, this is a scam. They emailed me an offer with $50% promised if $50 or more is spent. Although I followed the instructions extension and the subsequent email that was sent to me, It wasn’t honored. Not the total amount, only $6.43 was deposited in my CapitalOne rewards account. There is no way to get in touch with them except email which is a false front. ("Your message wasn't delivered to ***@capitaloneshopping.com because the address couldn't be found, or is unable to receive mail.")
I sent them copies and screenshots but no engagement or follow-up. It doesn’t function as customer service but as a way to collect customer complaints. Capital One says this is an independent company from their credit card. Avoid at all costs !!!!

I attempted to dispute a charge

Capital One's customer service is D level at best.

I attempted to dispute a charge, but the woman went around and around in circles until I was in so much pain (due to my ME) that I was in tears and had to go to bed. Her supervisor did the same. They are worse than AI and I am not a fan of AI.

When my energy returns and I stop shaking, I'll try to find another business to work with.

False advertising

As stated by previous other reviews, this is a scam. They offer coupons with percentages off or in my case $150 dollars off if a minimum amount of money is spent with Dyson. Although I followed the instructions extension and the subsequent email that was sent to me, It wasn’t honored. There is no way to get in touch with them except email which is a false front. I sent them copies and screenshots bit no engagement or follow-up. It doesn’t function as customer service but as a way to collate and squirrel away customer complaints. Capital One says this is an independent company from their credit card. Avoid at all costs.

SCAM! Beware!

This service is a scam that does not pay out its promised offers. Over the Black Friday timeframe I received an offer for 15% back at BestBuy. I bought a $6000 movie server and expected to get back $900. I took a screen shot of the “activated” status along with all the fine print. The purchase was captured on their site, but they never paid out. I am uninstalling their extension and never using them again.

Absolute Gimmick

The capital one shopping rewards is an absolute gimmick. Even when provided proof of screenshots, they do not honor the rewards they offer. I read the small print. I follow the instructions provided and they still do not deliver. So disappointing. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS.

Capital One Shopping is a scam

Capital One Shopping is a scam. I followed instructions and did not recieve my promised reward. This has happened before with smaller reward promises, but this was a 30 dollar scam if I buy 50 bucks worth at Walmart.

They have the nerve to reach out to me with the promotion with an email, and then not acknowledge it. In fact they blamed me.
