Intro Our handcrafted spirit is inspired by the garden of England. We blend locally sourced botanicals to capture the true taste of Kent and present it in our iconic reusable flask. Our Story. Cantium small batch gin started as a hobby for owner Kevin Andrews in his garage in 2017. As a gin fan he wanted to create the perfect profile. As the stills got bigger so did the ideas… Now, the Gold winning Cantium Primo is available in Fortnum & Mason and Harvey Nichols and has been voted as one of the best British Gin’s by Shortlist Magazine. The Brand. Being from Kent the inspiration came from the garden of England itself as did the name. Cantium is what the Romans called Kent and the logo is a design found on a mosaic tile found at Lullingstone Roman villa near Cantium HQ. In fact, all Cantium products have Latin names. What about that bottle? When Kevin captured his perfect dry gin profile his attention turned to bottle design. It had to stand out from every other gin and have green credentials too. The reusable thermos was the way forward. Drink your gin and say hello to your new flask. We also donate returned flasks to our Homeless charity partner WUTH.ORG. So Cantium is the gift that keeps on giving. What the Romans did us. Our locally sourced botanicals that are iconic to Kent are believed to be introduced to Britain by the Romans. These include Apple, Lavender and Chestnuts which we roast. We also use Blackberry, two types of Hops and Cobnuts with other secret botanicals to produce a super smooth gin. Magna Numismata. Since launching in 2020 we are proud of our achievements including a Gold award in the U.S.A. 2 Bronzes in London plus a design award for our gorgeous Cantium bottle. We have also featured on ITV and in BBC Good Food guide, Kent radio the Gin Guide and many more. Fruits of the forest. The latest edition to the Cantium range is Rubesco Pink Gin with Strawberry and Raspberry capturing a Kentish summer in a bottle. Who can say no to that gorgeous pink bottle?

When gin arrived it had leaked through package

When gin arrived it had leaked through packaging. I contacted seller and they said they were replace with min liquid ( whatever that means) I emailed back at I realised it was the seal on the flask that was at fault and as it was a present this was not any good. So far I have not had a reply, so I cannot recommend this.

A great gn and fantastic flask idea to…

A great gn and fantastic flask idea to match. I was worried that this was to compensate for a mediocre gin, but was I wrong! What a fabulous gin and now I do not need to be concerned about wasteful over-spec'd bottles. Ordering direct was also painless and good to know you can order direct from the maker.

Thanks Cantium!
Andy

Great gin and great service

Bought a bottle as a present for a friend after tasting it at Fortnum & Mason. The pink isn’t to my taste as I don’t usually like flavoured gins, but as flavoured gins go it wasn’t bad! The london dry however is excellent - so smooth. It was easy to order and great customer service. Would definitely recommend.

Local Quality with re-usable flasks

Just met these guys, tasted and bought a few flasks. The gin is outstanding, truly local ingredients combined with classy re-usable flasks proudly holds it's own against large scale, commercial producers. Hopefully other customers will support small honest producers and keep Cantium around to be enjoyed !

Gin in a smart bottle!

Saw this gin in Fortnum and Mason and thought it was the most innovative and practical design. This brand is leading the way in second use packaging by presenting their product in a reusable bottle that keeps drinks hot or cold. Fantastic taste too. Made the perfect gift!
