CanaDream RV - Whitehorse Reviews 

Although the check-in process on the website may leave some confusion, the actual check-in and check-out procedures are extremely simple and quick, with a very friendly staff on-site.
The motorhome (TCA Maxi Travel Camper) was perfect, extremely comfortable (for 2 people) and very well equipped. I would suggest to install a removable control unit for the heater, instead of a fixed one.A suggestion for improvement to the manufacturer / designer: the sink in the shower cabin is useless (small and too low) and takes un-necessary space that could be used to increase the shower/toilet space.

The vehicle was well prepared and we were soon on our way. Our trip of three weeks and 2,500km went fine as far as the vehicle was concerned.
I paid $50 for a detailed presentation of the vehicle but the person giving the presentation admitted that they were not familiar with it and could not explain all of its features. Nevertheless I learned enough to get started.

Overall great experience and the RV was well appointed. Everything was extremely clean and worked flawlessly. The instructions that Canadream provides are very clear and helpful to navigate all the different systems in the RV. We really enjoyed the family time for the week we had it and were both off the grid and at RV parks with hookups.

The staff at the Whitehorse location were very professional and drop off was seamless and stress free.

Everything went ok, but the RV wasn't really clean and there were no wascloth's and Coffeebag holder.

The RV interior quality was pretty good and very warm for winter with lots of amenities but we had several issues with the RV during our rental. The price of the rental versus the service was not that great and I’ll definitely be researching more companies to rent from next time.

We had a wonderful experience renting a truck camper. Pick up was easy, all our questions were answered and we felt confident in our abilities. These truck campers are very user friendly. The only thing we needed that we didn't have was an axe to split firewood. Yukon campgrounds do not provide split firewood. Drop off of the camper was equally easy. The rental staff even called us a cab!

Clean new truck and clean camper was lovely . Good tires and 4x4 helped with feeling safe driving. Could have had some instruction video on how to change a flat tire because we were out of cell service and couldn’t call for assistance so that we didn’t have to rely on the kindness of strangers . Also needed way more septic tank sachets. Otherwise a great trip. Thank you !

Overall our experience was great from planning our trip to picking up the vehicle and return. Booking online was straightforward and all of our questions were answered prior to finalizing the contract. Pre checkins were comprehensive and helped with understanding what to expect. At pickup Staff were friendly and courteous. The vehicle was perfect for our trip and drop off was easy. We would have given a five star rating but we dropped one star because the tanks werent emptied as we expected and were told. Other than that renting a camper in Whitehorse to drive the Dempster certainly met our expectations for a great trip

From booking to returning the whole experience was a dream :) Then on top of the service we had a more than capable and comfortable vehicle to explore the Yukon.

We had a problem with a refrigerator that took a little longer than we would have liked to get resolved. However we were out in the middle of the Yukon with very spotty communication! In the end it wasn’t a trip spoiler!

Well maintained RV with all the amenities. We want to do it again.

The mattress on the back was very bad.

From the first query to picking up the RV all the way to returning it. The experience was beyond my expectation.

The Whitehorse office made my trip! I got a spotless RV with everything as ordered and we got a great demo. Returning it was just as smooth. Fantastic work!

Nice and quick, friendly service

The rental station is easy to reach by bus from Whitehorse.
The handover and return of the camper went well.
We had a fairly new truck camper, so there was nothing to complain about. It was clean and we had no problems at all.
But we were missing a coffee pot, so we quickly bought a vacuum jug and took it with us to Germany.

The interior was ok. The only thing I have to criticize are the bed covers. It would be nice to have a fitted sheet for the mattresses. I had to do acrobatics every morning to straighten the sheets. It would also have been better - at least for us - to have two comforters instead of one large one.

Deposit for the truck camper: This deposit was booked correctly on the credit card, i.e. with currency purchase and 2.2% interest credit card. Normally this should only be fixed and not booked. Due to the back and forth booking, we ended up with a loss of over 60 euros. However, a 100% refund is guaranteed. I contacted my agency in Germany and they kindly refunded me the amount. This is for the information of all travelers who are not from Canada.
