My baby CAN sleep!
7 nights into the course and we have had 6 un-interrupted full night’s sleep!!! She is settling beautifully with little to no need for reassurance checks and staying asleep all night! I never thought I would see the day! I wanted to thank you for the clear and simple plan that is super easy to follow and is very gentle. Wish we had found you for our first! Have already recommended you to two work colleagues! Thank you soooooo much. From two very happy and WELL RESTED (!) parents. Xx

Life changing and brilliant
I just wanted to message to say a HUGE thank you-your plan and Lucy saved us! Lucy was an Angel in disguise and will never truly know the impact her support had on not only Jim’s sleep but us as a family. Being a full time working mum, I felt like I was drowning and failing in all aspects as I was permanently exhausted. I would have huge anxiety going to bed every night as I never knew how much sleep I would get or how many times I would need to be up rocking my son to sleep! Lucy’s phone call gave us the confidence to trust in the plan, and we were so shocked (pleasantly!) when it worked so quickly. We have our evenings back, and that time is invaluable. We go to bed knowing we will get sleep and feel refreshed each day. The brain fog has lifted and our well-being has significantly improved. I was afraid that the controlled crying would have a negative impact on my relationship with Jim, but infact it’s the complete opposite. He is happier as he is full of energy and we can be more actively present. I honestly can’t thank you enough, there truly are no words to describe what your support and help has done for us as a family. Lucy will always be known as ‘Lucy, the sleep wizard’ Xx

Fab!
I had followed calm and bright on instagram for a while and Gem answered a number of my questions before I’d even bought the plan! I decided to look into sleep training when my little one was 4 months as naps were a nightmare - even if I bounced or rocked her we had 20 mins of screaming to get her to sleep. Now only a couple of weeks later she has peacefully drifted off to sleep by herself in her Moses basket for at least one nap a day. More than that, we’ve just been on holiday where she was sleeping in a strange room, first time in a cot (which was borrowed so we couldn’t get her used to it first) and a pretty light room and she had a 2 hour nap in the cot where again she settled herself to sleep! I wouldn’t have believed this was possible a few weeks ago! We still have a way to go on nights but we’re just coming out of the 4 month regression so we’ll see. What I really like about calm and bright is how supportive they are as a team and how responsive their plans are. I didn’t feel there was any pressure on my baby to soothe herself and before this plan I worried about hearing her cry but they taught me how to listen to her cries and interpret them and when she needed me and when she didn’t. I’m so glad I bought this - would highly recommend!

Should of bought the plan sooner… AMAZING!
I bought the sleep plan as my partner and I were at our wits end with our sons sleep. After such a short amount of time of following the plan and working closely with Collette, we now enjoy such restful sleep and feel so much more confident with naps etc. My only regret is I didn’t buy the plan/ make changes sooner! Collette has been such a dream to work with, always on hand when we needed her for extra support/ questions. Without Calm & Brights plan & Collette, we wouldn’t be where we are now. Thank you so much!

They are baby sleep goddesses
They are baby sleep goddesses. It’s like voodoo, but gentle and calm voodoo. Their approach is really simple to follow, it almost seems too simple at first, but it works wonderfully. I’ve used it with both of my children, first at 14 months and the second at 7 months. And for both after just 1-2 nights they have restful sleep. It’s changed our lives.

Amazing sleep support!
I decided to use Calm and Bright after my friends recommended it and was not disappointed! I received support before I even purchased the plan and the support through Whatsapp voice notes once I had started was a great way to communicate. The plan itself provided me with the confidence to know what I was doing which is what I needed the most, and it has worked wonders for my littles one’s sleep! Thank you!

Life changing
All I can say is this programme and these amazing women are life changing. We were at our wits end with sleep. I didn’t believe anything would work and I hadn’t until this point had the confidence to try any sort of approach that would mean listening to my baby cry. But it was so so worth it to see her managing to sleep well and for ourselves to finally get some decent sleep! I cannot praise Lucy and her support and guidance enough nor the programme. More than anything it has given me the confidence to know if we have any regressions or illness, our baby will be able to self settle again and we will get back to great sleep.
Sleep fairies!
I can remember being in the depths of sleep deprivation, at around the 4 month mark, reading these reviews in the middle of the night thinking that sleep training would never work for us. So, if that's you, please don't loose hope! It will get better!
We started following Calm & Bright's plan from just under 6 months. We did not have an overnight turn around, but we stuck religiously to the plan and did see dramatic improvement over a week or two. I'm not going to lie, I found the first few days difficult, but Calm & Bright's plan is v easy to follow, even in the middle of the night. We went from horrible sleep: not being able to leave the room after she was asleep and me spending literally hours after every feed trying to put her down, to her self-settling for all sleep. It was revolutionary for us. We had evenings together again, in the day I had time for myself while she napped, and instead of being up for 1-2 hours with every feed, I was able to go straight back to bed!
We chose to keep her night feeds in initially (which the plan allows for) and by 9 months she had spontaneously dropped all but one. I then used some one-to-one time, with the fantastic Lucy, to help me trouble shoot dropping her last feed. Lucy was kind and supportive, and gave me the confidence to do what I thought would work for us. After a bit of trial and error, with lots of very helpful and flexible advice from Lucy, we now have a routine in which our baby has two long naps and 11ish hours of uninterrupted sleep at night. If you told me that we would be here 5 months ago I wouldn't have believed you. I return to work as a junior doctor in a few months and I have just received my (horrific!) rota. Knowing that our baby girl can get peacefully off to sleep without me there has made me feel so much less guilty about all the nights I wont be there for her from August. I'll be so sad, but at least she won't be!
It works!
My 8 month old was waking up every hour not getting back to sleep without a feed. She also barely napped and definitely not in her cot. After one day of using the method we saw a difference in her sleep. She was sleeping through the night on night 4, after weaning off feeds. Her napping is still a work in progress but she is napping in her cot for the the first time ever. The team have been so helpful with getting back to me to explain anything about the plan I wasn’t sure of.
Just to say a huge THANK YOU
Just to say a huge THANK YOU! I followed your advice in desperation after my 11 month old daughter was still waking for 2-3 hours every night and only cat napping in the day. She had quite severe reflux which was late to be diagnosed and consequently I was hyper vigilant. I felt at my wits end as I was imminently returning to work, feeling utterly broken and exhausted. I wasn’t myself, I was grumpy, snappy and feeling so lost. Especially on the days I had my little boy to care for too. After following some of your sleep advice, tweaking nap gaps and not jumping in so much, after just one night of teaching she has now slept through 11-12hrs for a whole month!!! We can’t believe it. I feel more like myself again, I have patience again and I’m enjoying my children again. More importantly I have the happiest little girl as she’s now getting the rest she so desperately needed. Thank you isn’t enough for your advice - it’s given me back to my family and made us a happy 4 again. You’re actual miracle workers! 💜 could not recommend you highly enough
These ladies are magic! Our lives have been transformed.
These ladies are magic.
Wonderful, caring, supportive and so so so helpful and kind.
My cat napping, contact napping, co sleeping, waking every hour to feed baby who needed feeding/rocking/bouncing to sleep … now sleeps in her cot in her own room and at 6.5 months I honestly don’t know what to do with myself.
I was exhausted, low, tearful and sad and feeling awful amounts of guilt that I wasn’t able to enjoy new mum life due to lack of sleep. I couldn’t see it ever changing but also knew not sleeping more than 45 minutes in a block was not sustainable.
A friend recommended the Calm and Bright ladies. Being a nurse myself I felt so relieved to have found an evidence based, love based and supportive sleep teach method. I was anxious about crying and didn’t want to leave my baby to cry, so didn’t think sleep teaching was for me. But this isn’t cry it out, it isn’t abandoning your child as people make you believe all sleep teaching is and it’s the best £40 I have ever spent and will be buying 1:1 time in a shot should I need any further support.
It felt gentle, supportive, baby led and gave me the confidence to give her the confidence. I didn’t want to move her to her own room due to my own anxieties, but she went in there of an evening and stayed there ALL NIGHT. We couldn’t believe it - she was ready even if I wasn’t!
The ladies have answered all my questions, sent me lovely supportive voice notes and signposted to other support videos pre me buying the plan, all for free. They don’t need to do this but they do, because they care and want to help.
I took a bath!! A bath, I relaxed and knew I had some time to myself finally. It feels really strange to be able to do things for me and know my baby is getting some really solid settled sleep.
She self settles like a dream and sleeps through the night, I can’t actually believe it. I no longer cry in anticipation of the night ahead and feelings of desperation have gone. She is happier, better rested and our lives are transformed.
I get time with my partner, which has been so good for us too.
They are all magic and I can’t thank them enough supporting with voice notes through my questions and anxieties pre starting the plan.
So much love for these ladies and all they do ♥️
Thank you thank you from a finally rested Mumma, baby and Daddy! Our lives really have been transformed.
So kind and wonderful

Best thing we’ve done!
Hi there
I wanted to say a massive thanks for all your help and give a huge shoutout to my sleep support Lucy. My son is nearly 7 months old and is now sleeping like a dream! We started the plan when he was 4 months old but had to pause due to silent reflux. Lucy was incredible and really helped us manage the situation. We started back with the plan when my son was 6 months and he went from only going to sleep by being held to self settling on day 1! It’s totally changed our family life and now I don’t dread naps / bedtime. My baby is also so much happier he can sleep on his own knowing that we’re not far. Also, your Instagram page gave me so much hope and strength at a time when I felt totally lost.. so thank you! It’s the best thing we’ve ever done and I will be talking about you guys for years to come xxxx
Best thing I bought as a parent!
This is my second review after first purchasing the plan 3 years ago when my eldest daughter was born. Being a first time parent I really needed the support and guidance to know how my baby could be an independent sleeper who napped well & slept through the night. It worked so well, and after changing my own habits I was able to support my daughter in achieving the sleep she needed.
Fast forward 3 years and I now have an 8 month old son too. I have been able to use what I learned the first time round from Calm and Bright’s plan right from the start. I haven’t needed any form of sleep training intervention because I felt so much more confident in having the tools I needed in ensuring he slept so well independently from a newborn. The £50 I spent on a plan 3 years ago is probably the greatest (and best value!) thing I have bought as a parent and has meant that I have two incredibly happy children, as well as two well rested parents. I cannot thank C&B enough and I will always shout loudly about small companies that do great things :)
Sleep Goddesses
I invested in Calm and Bright's sleep plan when my second born was not giving us much sleep - I was at breaking point, suffering from post natal depression as well. I can honestly say it was the best £50 I've ever spent as it gave me my life back and a much happier baby! Before seeking out their help, I was obsessive with his sleep habits and borderline recluse with it controlling every aspect of my life. I couldn't see any other way out and so I bought their plan and never looked back.
They provide a practical yet peaceful approach that is easy on both parent and baby and clearly outline when is best to being sleep training and when it should be held off I.e. when baby is poorly. The training had such a quick turnaround and my son went from having 20-40 min naps and regular night wakes to set am and pm nap times of 90-120 minutes plus going 10-12 hours at night.
Fast forward to now (aged 21 months) and we have hit a regression due to moving him into a bunk bed and shared bedroom with his sister. He did not cope with the bed at all and following their advice again, we put him back in a cot but in place of the bottom bunk. I went back to basics with the training plan and after 2 weeks of hellish sleep, he slept through the night and today has gone down in less than 2 minutes without needing either parent in the room. I couldn't recommend Eve and Gem more if I tried and if sleep is overtaking your life (or lack of) then please call them and take your life back!!
Shout out to Lucy! 💛
I just wanted to give the biggest ‘thank you’ to Calm and Bright, especially a shout out to Lucy who has been so supportive and instrumental in our sleep journey.
I went from co-sleeping, being woken 10 times a night for feeding back to sleep, to a baby who can now do 11/12 hours sleep in his own room and cot. I’ve also gone from walking miles twice a day as baby would only nap in the pram, to now finding it easier and more successful in the cot! Who’d have thought!?
Our journey hasn’t been straight forward and did take some time, but Lucy remained so patient, attentive and supportive throughout to work through all the scenarios and options. I asked so many questions and Lucy never failed to answer and was always so prompt. Lucy also identified my baby could have silent reflux and recommended seeing a doctor. After a short time on the medication, we had our first fully successful cot nap, with many more now under our belt. Without Lucy, I would never have realised he was struggling with reflux.
Together, Lucy has helped us work through silent reflux, wake windows, extending naps, self settling and more. The plan really does work, but it’s the 1:1 support that really made it for us. Thank you Lucy for allowing us to have our evenings back and less time on foot - we’re incredibly grateful xx
I cannot recommend Calm and Bright highly enough
I honestly cannot recommend Calm and Bright highly enough. When I reached out on instagram about 6 weeks ago I genuinely didn’t know where to begin with my little boys sleep but Gem and Eve were so helpful and reassuring. I put it off for another couple of weeks as I thought his sleep may get better on its own, which it didn’t. In fact it got worse.
I decided to go for the 1:1 support plan and Collette has just been amazing. Having her on the other end of WhatsApp has been a godsend. No question has ever been too much and she has guided me through the sleep plan with patience, kindness and reassurance.
Just two weeks after starting the plan we have gone from a little boy who would only fall asleep for a nap in his pram. I used to walk up and down our road endlessly, usually only resulting in a 20 to 30 minute nap. He now self settles for every nap in under a minute and stays asleep for 2 hours or more. At night, he used to spend most of the evening cluster feeding and transitioning him back into his cot would result in him crying and awake. He now self settles at 7pm within minutes, with no tears! He wakes around 3am for a feed and sleeps until 6/7. He’s only 6 months this week so we are quite happy to leave that one feed for the time being and will work on dropping it in a couple of weeks. The progress he has made in 2 weeks is just incredible and everyone in our house is so much happier for it. Thank you Calm and Bright and especially Collette, you are a sleep superstar!
Always on hand to help and my 1 yr old…
Always on hand to help and my 1 yr old is sleeping beautifully now after less than a week of following the steps and helping her learn to settle. I really feel like we have given our baby the tools to sleep for life

Effective Yet Non-Gentle Methods, Insensitive Trainer, Unsuitable for Sensitive Parenting
I used this service due to anxiety about sleep and my return to work. Overall, I cannot personally recommend their services to parents like myself. However, if you're at your wits' end and willing to try anything, it might be worth considering.
It's worth getting the 1-2-1 support if you do go for this programme. While the trainer was generally friendly and very responsive to Whatsapp messages, I was disappointed with their approach to sleep training and their customer service.
The sleep training methods used by Calm & Bright were not gentle as advertised. My 6mo was left to cry for extended periods of time, sometimes up to 2 hours (on & off with limited 'allowed' interventions), which caused her to lose her voice for days afterwards. It was heart-breaking to hear her cry inconsolably, and it went against my instincts as a parent to let her endure such distress. I understand that some level of crying can be expected during sleep training, but this exceeded what I deemed acceptable.
When I reached out to the trainer to express my concerns and discomfort about leaving my baby to cry for so long, their response was surprisingly dismissive and condescending. Instead of addressing my concerns with empathy and understanding, they seemed annoyed and implied that I was overreacting. As a paying customer, I expected to be treated respectfully, especially when discussing a topic as sensitive as my baby's well-being.
I acknowledge that every baby is different and sleep training methods can vary, I believe it's important for a sleep training company to be transparent about their approach and set realistic expectations. The lack of gentleness and the unhelpful response from the trainer left me feeling frustrated and let down.
Yes, my baby ended up sleeping better and for longer periods at a time (thank you for that), but the guilt tainted the whole experience.
It's crucial to find a programme that aligns with your parenting philosophy and respects the well-being of both the baby and the parents. Unfortunately, I did not find that with Calm & Bright.

Edit after business' response:
Despite the potential risk of getting entangled in an internet dispute, I want to clarify that my intention was not to slander. Instead, I aimed to present a well-rounded perspective based on my personal experience. Although the plan did yield results, it did not align with our preferred parenting approach. I reluctantly persisted with it due to feelings of desperation and anxiety about returning to work.
During a support session, I received a voice note in which I was explicitly told that being an "attachment" style mother was considered a "red flag" by the provider. I could have shared this review earlier, but I deliberately stored this experience in my memory, especially as I adjusted to the new routine of balancing work and caring for my baby. It only resurfaced recently when a friend inquired about my experience.

Thank you ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It’s been 4 weeks and we’ve done it! Jack sleeps 3-4 hours a day and 7pm til 6am.
When we first started, Jack reacted so well at nap time and went from having 10 minute cat naps to 2 hours in morning and afternoon. He always settled well at bed time but struggled to self settle in the night… I would feed him about 3am or 4am and so he kept waking. One night he went straight through so The next night I didn’t offer the milk when he woke at 4am… the next night… he didn’t wake.., and hasn’t since! If he does stir… he generally gets himself back off… he is struggling… I go in and rub his tummy 3 times and walk back out again!
Other Parents need to know that they don’t need to be walking shells… struggling to be happy.
My 6 year old was definitely getting a lesser version of me… which makes me really sad. We’re back to enjoying each other’s company and spending quality time together.
Mine and Jacks bond is something totally wonderful! I see it in his eyes… he trusts me… if we’re somewhere different and he’s struggling to fall asleep… I go up and I rub his tummy and look him in his eyes and I sssssshhhhhh…. And we connect and he I’ll leave the room and he goes to sleep, because he knows that I am there if he needs me and that is enough for him to settle, confidently and happily to sleep. Our bond is greater because of this plan…. I honestly believe that!
Thanks for your very simple and easy to follow plan. It’s helped me feel like like my old self again and feel like a happier Mummy.xx
