Poor Service, don't listen and unable to fix issues.
Frustratingly Call Flow Solutions are the only method for Trooli to go to for help and after 5 months I've now given up trying, as soon as my Trooli contract is up I'm leaving. Time after time I would explain a problem to be told everything looks fine on their end and that is that. I have persistent daily broadband drop outs originating from the supplied router which I believe is faulty but the operators refuse to even entertain looking into this. Line test to ONS is good so no problem I'm told, but I have repeated internet drops and the only solution is switch the router off and on to reset it but I shouldn't have to do that multiple times every day. There is no consideration that their supplied router could potentially be faulty. With previous providers equipment in the same position over the last 11 years there's never been a problem. It's an endless circle trying to resolve a problem that's been going on for 5 months. I've already decided to leave Trooli once my contract is up and annoyed that I've had to buy another router in the hope for a reliable connection. What's really disappointing though is that when the connection does work it's quick and I would stay with Trooli if they could be bothered to actually fix the issue but he operators at call flow are unhelpful. The last time I called my router was put into guest mode by Call flow which stopped my household peripherals from working which included my printer which I needed for work, it took hours to try and figure out why the printer in so desperately needed wasn't working until I discovered the router prevented it from communicating with devices.
Oh my goodness
Oh my goodness, where do I start with this company ? I believe, the worst company I’ve ever dealt with.
We were provided with free internet from Callflow for the first year when we bought our new build property over 8 years ago. Internet was always sluggish but we put up with it, mainly because we live in a small village and didn’t really understand that there was much better out there.
Over 8 years and paying £40 a month for a speed of 100, so we decided to change. Signed up with YouFibre, they dealt with everything and we were up and running on the 15th January 26, with a speed of 800 and for a cheaper price.
Still today, I am having to do emails to accounts, to stop our service with Callflow. They’re still attempting to take £40 from our account, which on the advice from a customer service advisor, I cancelled the DD.
Numerous long wait phone calls to their atrocious customer service and still they don’t understand that we are no longer with them and all I want is a closure figure, if any, to settle our final payment with them.
Today’s email was for £40 for the period up to 31st January.
Awful company, steer well clear.
Would give 0 star but didn’t have that option.
No internet for 2 days plus - awful service
No internet for 2 days, don't know when it will be restored. Trooli who now own this company? useless too.
They don't answer the phone or reply when messages left.
Awful service even when working, lucky if 2 people can be online at the same time - they are expensive too.
Unless I have satellite internet there's no other provider in my area.
Cannot wait until BT get a grip and supply fibre - only been waiting over 12 years - continual false promises from them. A disgrace.
Bit the bullet and gone to Starlink
Bit the bullet and gone to Starlink. Callflow (Trooli on the bill) techs are great and do their best. Which is a LOT as the rural broadband drops daily.Download 8 Mbps. Upload speed of around 0.4 Mbps so working from home unreliable. I can’t blame Trooli for copper cable from the cabinet to property. I DO blame them for the prices. £55 / month for slow unreliable WIFI - Britains worst deal? I do pay even more for Starlink but it’s 20-40 times faster and actually works.
Trooli had a monopoly but have lost the entire rural Lane here - no business sense. Ping pong with BT Openreach. High prices. Relieved to see the back of them at last.
No improvement over the years
No improvement over the years. Village coverage is non-existent or running at 10% again this morning and Call Flow do not care (no response to service email, despite being within support hours) …. as long as they can collect their monthly subscription. There remains a direct correlation between the rain and access/speed, which highlights Call Flow’s reliance on existing copper wires to the houses - a weather/service correlation which Call Flow has always ignored or denied. If the limiting factor is the local fixed infrastructure, the service provider could in fact be anyone - it does not need to be expensive Call Flow.
No Internet for second time in a week
No Internet for second time in a week, office is closed but message directs you to Callflow site to obtain an update, bit difficult with no Internet! Charge is very high per month but level of service does not reflect this. They have a monopoly and are exploiting it here.
I have to give a star to actually write…
I have to give a star to actually write some thing. Like being off line for 8 weeks (11th december oh btw according to your lit i get to talk to ofcom etc now.. ) and the 'person' i talked with knew nothing about how internet works, thanks leo. The guys we cornered did a great job fixing what I knew was wrong but also had no clue about how crap this service is. Avoid like the plague.
Apallingly bad customer service.
Apallingly bad customer service and support, the recent storms took out the power across much of the South, after 24 hours the power was back, but the broadband service remained off for another 3 days.
When it returned the uplink speed was 450kbps, despite it being 1150kbps before the storm, I was told it was due to the distance we are from the exchange!
How that affects us more after the outage is anybody's guess, the exchange wasn't blown further away in the storm, so I pushed back and an Openreach engineer was organised, then another 3 engineers over the following 2 weeks, but no resolution, still unusable Broadband, especially working from home.
The final word from Callflow...
Go and be a customer for another ISP as they're not going to fix it!!!!
Hopeless at sorting faults on the BT cables.
We have been a customer for many years with limited options in a rural area. Previously BT provided less than 2mB download. Call Flow Solutions as they were then were great to start with, very fast. Even now, in their favour, you can usually speak to an actual person in their customer service team. All very pleasant and try to help. However, often triggered by extreme weather, an intermittent fault on the ancient BT cables between us and the box where the Trooli fibre system joins has occasionally resulted in very slow internet, frequent drops and a phone line so crackly it is unusable. When the phone is answered the internet drops out completely. On one occasion, instructed by CFS (as they were then), Openreach took so long to come out that the fault rectified itself, resulting in an argument about who was going to pay BT for finding and fixing nothing. The latest fault was reported on 19 July and whilst they can see the fault, it has still not been sorted. There is no continuity of staff and no one person there is able to get a grip of sorting it with OpenReach, who either don't make appointments, miss appointments or will only deal with phone OR internet, but not both. Trooli never chase BT or check with us, we always have to chase them. Over two weeks and nothing has improved, but they are quick enough to send through their usual monthly bill for this poor service.
Excellent service, keen to help when there's a problem.
As a long-term rurally based customer of Call Flow, I can only say I'm more than satisfied with the service they provide. It's not faultless, but realistically speaking it's proved far better for us and more reliable than BT over the period, being more stable and providing significantly faster speeds than any other provider in the area. I'd also like to add that their customer service team has improved greatly in the time I've been using them too.
I would not even give these guys a…
I would not even give these guys a star.. they breach data, tell lies and are so unprofessional. Agresive on the phone because that’s they way they train them. Dave is rude.
They take a call and don’t ask details and woukd discuss your account with who they talk too
Don’t waste your time
I’ve emailed Call Flow a few times requesting they remove their mast from my roof. Never reply to emails and don’t answer their phones either.
second complaint, nothing has changed
This provider is very unreliable, for an example my internet has dropped out eight times in the space of 20minutes. the ping goes from 14 in my business call to 5000ping. After my first complaint callflow has not come back with any information or how they can fix this. £70 a month for unreliable internet and bad customer service. I would not recommend this provider.
Worst company constant outage
Worst company constant Weekend outages and can never get in contact with customer services, it’s annoyingly the only company that can supply to where we live Until fibre is installed otherwise I’d def change
Dreadful customer service
Broadband speed has halved in the last week. 1st call got through and I was told to try a different netwrork connection which they set up. No good, so called back later the same day. This second call was transferred to voicemail after 20 minutes. They never called back. Third call went to voicemail the following day, again no call back. Fourth call got through - their systems were down, said they'd call back, but didn't. Called again, this time got through. "Ah yes, fault on the line, we'll get an Openreach engineer to you, and we'll confirm the time by email" No email. Tried calling them again this morning. Diverted to voicemail again after 20 minutes. No call back. What a shambles!
Honestly worse experience ever
Honestly worse experience ever! Customer service... what customer service, 5 call attempts to speak to technical support who needed to get advice themselves and then don’t call back?! Transferred by various departments to a foreign voicemail. Only Installed today and I’ve never experienced anything like it! Stood beside the router and still cannot get WiFi! No tv, no nothing and all I was told by customer service was to buy some boosters. Will be cancelling as soon as they are open again tomorrow!
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!
One of the WORST companies I have ever had to deal with!!! £70 per month and the worst internet! Unreliable, unhelpful, totally useless! I Pray that another internet provider comes to the area. Never known a more unreliable company. Currently trying to work from home with download of 6.68mbps (Best its been all week) and an upload speed of 0.06mbps!!! Customer services are unhelpful and no help at all. 3G is better than their service!!!
Have had issues for the last 7 months…
Have had issues for the last 7 months and not one thing has been done on their end except ask me to do more and more testing or bandaging the problem short term. They also keep passing the problem to Open Reach who are adamant that the line is absolutely fine and saying the issues lie with Call Flow. I would not, in any capacity, recommend this company.
Absolute rubbish
Absolute rubbish! I have never known an internet service to be as unreliable as Callflow and I long for the day that another provider will be able to provide a similar broadband speed. We are paying far too much money for this useless service and please please avoid if you can.
Absolutely rubbish and very expensive
We can only get fibre optic broadband from this supplier and they use this to their advantage by charging ridiculous prices for just an internet and phone package. The service is terrible. Today it is disconnecting every 5 minutes and I haven’t been able to do any work at all. Even on a day when it is working properly it can take hours to send a video via WhatsApp for example. I can’t wait to move in a few months time to somewhere where I can get BT infinity again!
