When we bought our VW campervan Martin explained every aspect of their van conversions including purchasing arrangements and made a superb video describing the operation of the systems involved.
He answered questions promptly and was friendly and helpful and thorough throughout.
We would recommend Caledonian Campers to anyone looking for an excellent new campervan.
And the Welcome Box and wine in the fridge was a lovely surprise!

Have just bought our first camper van after years of talking about it.
Went into ‘Caledonian Campers’ in Clydebank to ‘have a look’ following a recommendation from a friend -as well as the positive reviews already posted about this company which we had read.
We found the reviews were justified and this is an excellent company to deal with.
From the outset we were blown away by the friendliness and helpfulness of this company- Martin was the guy we dealt with and he was great-patient and not at all pushy for a sale and it was quickly apparent this is a company and staff that put standards and quality at the top of their agenda. We bought a 2nd hand van that looked as good as new and perfect however Martin upgraded some items for us at no extra costs- matters we would not even have been aware of had he not mentioned them.
On top of that he was available at any time for questions and clarifications and his knowledge was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Now we head towards a new life style and I would unquestionably recommend Caledonian Campers to anyone interested in investing in such a life style.

This is the update promised after the work to modify and correct small problems with our Camper, we have all the problems sorted, absolutely no quibble about anything that needed to be done. The modifications we wanted were done at the same time to a very high specification even the bit that couldn't be done was tried but when found not to work, we were refunded for the price of the materials that weren't used and a good explanation was given as to why they felt that it would be detrimental to the van to carry out the modification. We would recommend this company to anyone first class service.

I had been thinking of buying a VW campervan for some time. After visiting Caledonian Campers and discussing what was available with Martin I was happy to go forward and buy a Grand Tourer conversion which suited my needs perfectly. I’m very happy with my campervan and the service received from Martin and the Caledonian Team.

First time van buyer and the process was helped hugely by Martin and Tony. There was no pushy sales pitch and Martin was happy to answer my many questions. The quality of the conversion is excellent and the very minor snagging issue that we had was dealt with quickly and professionally. The customer service reputation of Caledonian Campers was one of the key reasons we chose them and we weren’t disappointed. Highly recommend.

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Caledonian Campers. I only went for a look, but the campervans sold themselves with a little help from Martin who did an excellent sales job. I went back the following day for a test drive and put down a deposit. The entire process was simple and stress free. The hamper and bottle of wine was a lovely touch on collection.
I love my new campervan and can't wait to go exploring more new places.

We were introduced to Martin, a genuine and friendly soul, we warmed to his sales technique and were impressed with his knowledge of campervans. Recently bought a T6.1 Campervan from Caledonian Campers. From the first enquiry by email & the phone calls all the way to collection of the vehicle, the service has been top notch! Martin is a gem ! Quick response to mails and no question was left unanswered. The video's of my van send to me were very helpfull. The paperwork was clear and prompt and the advice on insurance was helpful.

We have just bought a brand new VW Transporter converted by Caledonian Campers. Absolutely delighted with the very high standard of the van. We bought a vw T6.1 4 motion and took it to Caledonian Campers for my conversion. Previously I had a California 4 motion for 4Years. It never missed a beat.
Caledonian were well beyond expectation in every single way. Staff helpfulness superb and our bespoke fit out was just beyond excellent.
After we sold it through them we received our agreed price with them only taking a small %

Recently purchased a brand new, sparkly VW Transporter conversion from Caledonian Campers. I should have written this a while back but we’ve been too busy having lots of fun in our new toy!!
Just wanted to say how impressed we were with the company and their excellent customer experience from start to finish! Nothing was too much trouble and Martin made us feel like part of the family instantly, providing us with a wealth of useful information and superior customer service. We are absolutely loving van life and would recommend Caledonian Campers without hesitation!

I recently bought a VW camper van conversion from Caledonian Campers. The service was without fault. All of the staff with whom I was involved throughout the conversion process were a delight and most helpful. They accepted my tweeks to the process willingly and I’m delighted with the end result. In my opinion far superior to the original in-house VW California. If you’re thinking of taking to the road you can’t do better.

Accept that not everything goes to plan but how a company rectifies problems and compensates for mistakes is really important.

We dropped are van into Caledonian Campers and took a train into Glasgow whilst the habitation service was being completed. We then received a call to advise the service couldn’t be competed that day as a tool required was not available and it would need to be completed the following day. Unfortunately this was a significant inconvenience, we had taken the day off work to take our van into the workshop, we live the furthest you can get across the city, our van is our only vehicle and it was needed the following day to travel to work to which there are no public transport links.
After arranging a lift to work and getting public transport home from the city centre we agreed that our van could have its service completed the following day.

Further errors were also made in the quoting of a price to replace our leisure battery, the doubling and to be advised it was not covered by our purchase warranty was disappointing given we had tried to book our van in before this expired and did advise of the battery issue prior to our warranty end date.

Following our challenge to initially being charged a full invoice, on request Mark the customer service manager called me to discuss our concerns. Mark was very apologetic for the inconvenience that was caused and offered a very generous compensation package as an offer of good will.

Mistakes and issues will always arise, some out with a company’s control but the quick acknowledgment and acceptance of responsibility makes a difference. We are very appreciative of how we were treated when we raised our concerns. From the financial compensation, to the offer to deliver our van back to us to save us the journey on public transport back across the city.

Highly recommended. Martin couldn’t have been more helpful (and patient!) when I was trying to decide what I needed. Very happy with my VW Transporter.

From first looking for a camper to getting 1 from caledonian campers Martin and the rest of the team have been fantastic would highly recommend them
