I called California Casualty twice today related to renewing our insurance policy. On the first call, Rafael addressed all my questions with patience, respect, positivity, and kindness. Knowledge, experience, resourcefulness, empathy, and non-judgement is what I felt from him throughout our interaction and his service. Based on information Rafael had provided on one of my questions, my wife and I decided to make an additional adjustment to our renewal. When I called the second time today, a woman, whose name I think was Kash (spelling?), graciously listened to my request, made the adjustments that we asked for, and reported how much money we would be saving via the adjustment. Kash answered all my questions in a very soft spoken, kind, and positive manner. She repeatedly asked if there was anything else she could do to help us today, and it really felt like both she and Rafael meant it when they asked. It cannot be easy handling service calls on a day-to-day basis, and I appreciate the professional, patient, knowledgeable, and communicative manner in which both Rafael and Kash provided their services this morning.
This is my second review of CalCas and my first one wasn’t a positive experience. This review is a positive review because we should always report the good and the bad of how we are treated as customers. My car was damaged less than a month ago and my insurance totaled it. I am glad to say that from the initial call to CalCas and thru out the whole process they were very helpful. I spoke to various employees so I just want to say thank you to Derrick, Barbara, Damien my agent and La Donna the Total Loss adjuster. CalCas is a great insurance company and I am glad I didn’t go elsewhere as I indicated on my first review. We all should shop around and post the good and bad reviews to help other customers, thank you CalCas.
Awful with Stupid Requests!
It's not that I never enjoyed their service, but they had a ridiculous request to have me ask my landlord for his insurance and drivers license information to submit to them. I didn't even know the landlord beyond his name, but I knew he lived in a different state. I'm supposed to go on this wild goose chase to track him down and demand his DL and insurance info? Yeah, that'd go over well if he refused. Then, they mailed me a letter saying my insurance was on the brink of cancellation. Why? They didn't say. When I called, it was due to the aforementioned issue. So stupid! Lack of communication. What a joke CC is!

If you haven’t signed up for this insurance company don’t look any further! We have our insurance for over 5 years now, and recently I had to file 2 claims for my cars, I have to say, their customer service is great! , no delays or playing around, this is a very serious insurance company, very professional and doesn’t give you headaches or unexpected surprises. Kuddos to Demien, Sherri Falkenburry and Anthony Butera for all your help and great customer service, you made my process so easy and smooth.
I was unsure what insurance carrier I should choose for my newly purchased house and to insure multiple vehicles. California Casualty was recommended by several law enforcement co-workers. Nine years later.. I wouldn’t have changed a thing. Great rates and top notch customer service.
**don't recommend this garbage insurance company** I just got my policy renewal. I added a 2002 suburban LAST MONTH to my policy. They increased it by $400 a year on my renewal. They are assuming that I am driving 11k miles a year. I already have a commuter that they put 12k miles on. I have only owned the suburban 1 month, and it is a SPARE CAR. And it is currently non opped and has been since I purchased it. It also has not been driven in 5 years prior to purchase. They refuse to lower the annual miles on it without proof of my milage reading. So basically, they are wanting me to drive a non-registered car on California roads to get mileage readings from a shop even though due to repairs it's not ready for smog and registration.

The customer support and service are outstanding! Helpful and prompt, ensuring that I had exactly the coverage I needed and checking to ensure my other vehicles were covered as well.
Every person I deal with is professional, understanding, outstanding, reliable, informed and polite.
We were in the area of the Line Fire in Highland CA on September 8th. The fire came to just behind our house. The firefighters did a back burn and saved our street. Cal Casualty staff called to check on us. It meant a lot to us to be that cared for!
I have had California Casualty since I was 24, 50 years ago! We have home owners insurance and car insurance, and have been very happy with their service, their rates, and their follow-through on claims!
It is always a great experience dealing with California Casualty
Company is garbage. God forbid you have a car accident after business hours or on a weekend. There is no one there to answer your calls or questions. Now my mortgage company is complaining saying this company has a low grading and won’t accept them as suitable coverage for our home insurance. Get other quotes and move along.

Inez is friendly, knowledgeable, and great to work with.
In my most recent experience, I had a slow leak in my bathroom. By the time it became visible, the bathroom and adjoining bedroom were affected, and tests revealed that both rooms had asbestos. The first thing we did (after calling a plumber) was to contact California Casualty. As always, they were friendly, efficient, and fair; and they kept in contact with us every step of the way.
