Ordering process was very easy just waiting for the r cake on Monday

Delivered in 24 hours to our door. Cake looked amazing and tasted delicious!

Ordered a cake for my son’s 3rd birthday party which was due to be delivered on Saturday and arrived Monday afternoon. The cake arrived damaged. I have contacted the company 5x regarding processing the refund and I am still yet to receive this (3 weeks later). I will never use this company again

If I could give 0 stars I would! I have posted negative reviews already but it appears unfortunately people are still ordering from them due to their glossy images and WhatsApp communication. Please do not be fooled AVOID AVOID AVOID

I ordered a birthday cake this time last last year for my daughter’s 18th birthday event - it was supposed to be the centrepiece, a lovely touch to mark the occasion. It arrived squashed, smashed in places and bore no resemblance to the cake I ordered. There was no time to even go out and buy another!

I did eventually get a full refund but that doesn’t make up for not having a cake at all at a very special event. No compensation was offered!

To cap it all off I received a WhatsApp today reminding me that I have an occasion coming up and offering a 10% discount!! I replied saying that actually the least they can do after ruining my daughter’s 18th birthday event last year is to provide a free cake for this year! Surprise surprise no response!!

I urge you all to read the reviews and avoid this company.

Ruined graduation day with a cake that arrived damaged and not fit for purpose. They need to use a better delivery service but then once they have your money you can’t get a refund or any help to your problem as they are not interested! Will never use again

I wish I had looked at the reviews before ordering. Unfortunately, someone else let us down - that's why I ordered from Caker Street. The cake was for my daughter’s 10th birthday, I sent a reference photo via WhatsApp.
Unfortunately, the cake did not meet my expectations. The sponge was not light and fluffy; it was quite heavy. The cake also looked slightly lopsided, with cracks around the base.
Sadly, I won’t be using Caker Street again. I contacted them via WhatsApp on Sunday 26 July and am still awaiting a response.

Received a damaged cake. They did not answer any of my calls.

This company is a scam! I ordered the pineapple vanilla cake with cherry on top and received some imitations of pineapple and cherry made of “plastecine”! Cake was damaged too. Filling was disgusting, you can feel sugar grains when biting. They make a fuss with their return policy for the refund. They want you to return the cake etc! Madness! They won't refund you. I am reporting them, and requesting chargeback to get a refund. This company is run by Indian people I think.

My daughter wanted an incredible and unreplicable cake - it had an edible photo of Ariana Grande on it - and about an hour before the party, the courier said they couldn't deliver til the following day. The operators at Caker Street were just so amazing: they got DHL to come back, the cake arrived and it was just so so dramatic, plus delicious. You know how people never finish their bit of cake? Totally opposite experience, I had people eating two slices. Unheard of! I was really really happy.

Such an easy process, found the perfect cake. Simple to add preferences and personalisation. Cant wait for it to be delivered. Thank you

Cake street were very helpful and accommodating. I had to reschedule and they were happy to help me with this. The cake was exactly what I asked for. A two tier cake, one chocolate and the other chocolate and coffee. The top tier was nice although just a little dry and the second tier was delicious. The communication was great. I will definitely be ordering again from them.

I ordered my sister’s 50th birthday cake and it was absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t praise it enough. We are currently going through a heatwave and i was concerned about keeping the cake at room temp. Upon opening the box i was so pleased to see that the cake box was wrapped in freezer packs. So much care was taken and i am so glad that they considered other factors when delivering the cake to the customer. I will definitely use them again. Cake was lovely and soft. Thank you!!!!❤️❤️

Ordering was easy. Order arrived when it was supposed to. It was also well-packaged to prevent any damage to it while in transit, which I was very impressed by.
The shape was not fully cylindrical. I wasn’t sure why it looked that way, but it was decorated exactly as the one on the website. The cake itself was nice and fluffy.

I ordered a cake for my dad's 90th, it was exactly what I wanted. Soft sponge layers with jam and buttercream a very green fondant icing cricket design name age and happy birthday. The delivery was on time and packaged extremely well considering it was a heatwave. Would use them again excellent 👌

The cake was awful, the packaging was good but the cake was misshapen and lettering was on the edge of the board and all different sizes: the ‘go-kart’ was shocking I can’t see how it was ever supposed to look like one. The customer service so far has been awful: I asked for a refund and am still waiting. I received it on a Thursday (I saw it in returning from work that evening). I has to pack it up again and send it special delivery the next morning and all this cost over £30. They agree to at least cover the cost of shipping and expect it back with 24 hours: they aren’t clear what that exactly means sadly - I wrote back explain my disability and struggle to achieve this but got nothing back so had to ring around and pay for someone to help come with me. Horrible, horrible experience. If you do order with them be there to receive it so you can send it back asap, and unpack it very, very carefully like I did luckily.

I ordered a birthday cake two days before my daughter's birthday. When the cake arrived, it was damaged and completely unacceptable.
I contacted customer service immediately, expecting them to offer a replacement or another solution. Instead, they told me that their next delivery would be four days later, which was after my daughter's birthday, so that wasn't a solution at all.
They then said that if I returned the damaged cake within 24 hours, they would issue a full refund. But how was I supposed to return a cake within 24 hours? A cake isn't like an ordinary item—it requires special handling, and by the time it reached them it would have been completely ruined anyway. They also didn't provide a prepaid return label or any help with arranging the return. Instead, they said that if I didn't return it within 24 hours, they would only refund 20% of the amount I paid.
This is not how you treat customers when your company makes a mistake. I expected them to take responsibility and offer a reasonable solution, but instead I was left with a damaged cake and a very disappointing customer service experience. I would not recommend this company.
