Ordered a last minute cake for my daughter and picked it up next day. The cake was, beautiful, great size and delicious. I will definitely be ordering more in the future.

Picture topper was damaged, and lady wouldn’t accept it , so I collected as it is . Because I already promised birthday boy that I’m coming with picture topper on it. 100% dissatisfaction.

I bought a cheesecake but it isn't a cheesecake at all. It's just overly whipped cream with a biscuit case. Absolutely appalling!

We have now ordered two cakes for special occasions and both have been immaculate. We've tried both the victoria and chocolate bases and each are lovely. The cakes are very light and fresh and the buttercream is beautiful and creamy. Very light and silky. Both cakes have looked great, the skills of the decorators in the Crayford branch are fabulous and my daughter's cakes have always been pristine and ready in time. Will keep ordering from Crayford in the future.

Very disappointed bought 3 tiny cake at almost £15 that I thought was expensive but they looks well made and very tasty, got home and all 3 cake tasted like they had been sitting in the shop for day absolutely tasteless dry cream. Won’t be eating from there again. Harlow town centre

I bought pineapple cake through the website. Did not receive any email confirmation. Telephoned the store. Once, twice, three times. Every time a different person, more confused than the last, was trying to understand what I said and the line was always cut. I quit. Three to four hours later I did receive an email. However, when I went the next day to fetch my cake, and opened it at home (son’s birthday), I realised it was NOT a pineapple cake. It was just a Victorian sponge (ok, tasty), with cream on top (again, tasty), and no pineapple inside. On the top there were also four small pieces of fossilised pineapple, probably from a tin. An old tin. They were dry and tasted nothing.

The cake was so delicious and prepared just quickly. We loved it.

They prepare eggless cake and they are delicious perfect sweetness and the cream keeps the cake nice and moist. They remind us of our cakes from Mumbai. The best part is our daughter loves them and we introduced the cake to our non Indian friends and they love the cake and have bought cakes from cakebox too.

There was some marks on the icing, near the writing so very easy to spot. I had to ask for them to correct it, which they did but the end result was still of a messy appearance. Spending £70 on a cake should guarantee some level of quality. The taste was great fortunately, but still won’t come back to buy again.

I ordered a cake for my daughters birthday and it was very nice. Everyone at the party enjoyed the cake. The sponge tasted really soft and fresh.

The cake was excellent, delivery was on time and in excellent conditions and we could not be happier. If they could deliver earlier in the day they could save a headache for birthday parties that happen in the morning, but this is just a suggestion for improvement, not a complaint. Thank you for a lovely birthday cake!
