Caffè Nero in Haywards Heath is usually…
Caffè Nero in Haywards Heath is usually very nice. But today I had the Barista being plain rude towards a customer.
The customer in front of me had asked for something different about his coffee. The Barista rolled her eyes and spoke to the other Barista and started saying why do people have such tastes and it would not make any difference. Whilst the guy was still in front of them he clearly heard them. Just took his coffee and left.
Not serving me
I drove from quite a distance to West Bridgeford get coffee before closing time and arrived at 6:56 PM, just a few minutes before 7:00. Unfortunately, I was told the machine was already being cleaned and I couldn’t be served.
I completely understand that cleaning needs to be done, but since the posted closing time is 7:00 PM, it would be appreciated if service could continue until that time. It was disappointing to make the effort to come on time and still not be able to order.
I hope this can be considered for future customers.
If you’d like, I can also make it slightly shorter or more direct depending on the platform.

I visited Caffè Nero in Bath
I visited Caffè Nero in Bath today for a tea and a latte. Unfortunately, the latte arrived almost cold, but the barista was helpful and made a fresh one immediately. However, when the new drink was brought to the table, the barista was holding the cup by the rim (where you drink from) rather than the handle. While the staff were friendly, better training on basic hygiene and hospitality standards is definitely needed.

The staff at Chester eastgate store are all fantastic. Emily, Jess, Mary, Alex, Caitlin the team (sorry to those I can’t remember your names ) are always welcoming friendly, efficient and the coffee is always great. A massive thumbs up
Buying a voucher via the app
Buying a voucher via the app, means a huge battle to get it while they happily and quickly take your money. I usually buy Costa vouchers but for once I made an exception and the emails back and forth for solving the mystery of a £10 voucher is beyond ridiculous! It goes without saying that I will never be buying a voucher or anything from Nero unless I am in the middle on nowhere and Nero is the only option to get a coffee.
Their coffee is good and often staff in cafes are nice but after this experience I’m so put off Nero! A natural talent at losing customers
Brighton cafe shouldn’t be serving food
Visited the one in Brighton and OMG could not believe how bad it was Dirty floors, toilets down 2 flights of stairs filthy also. Staff disinterested and I could be fairly sure it has never been visited by health inspectors.

I come to this location all the time as it is across from my house and mostly and generally okay with the staff but today with the girl that i just need to describe her she was wearing a black shirt and has a lot of tattoos and some what eastern asian looking because i was told by the staff manager that she cant give me her name the line by register was full and lond and my coffee was ready at the counter all i asked her is can you hand me the coffee to this side as the line was too long she was so rude and snappy and she said just as im saying it no you come and get it your self in front of everyone at the line and the way she said it i felt so offended and insulted because of the way she said like im some beggar or someone unwanted.
Always great service
I have said before and it's still the same - love going to the Nero in Southend.
Great service, always with a smile and very accommodating no matter how busy they are.
Today I was served by Anita ❤️❤️

Never as good as an independent but the best of the chains. Unfortunately they use The Cloud wifi which is almost impossible to log in to on a laptop because the log in never shows! Anything while travelling and needing quick catch ups while having a coffee.. But thankfully there are independents that don't choose crappy wifi services
Replacement coffee - top staff.
Local branch today...
I had just got my takeaway coffee and was in the process of adding sugar when my hand slipped and annoyingly spilt most of the cup. The staff were most helpful cleaning up and offered me a free replacement, which was gratefully received. Top marks to that barista in particular and Caffe Nero if this level of customer service is encouraged. I hope so, but haven't named the branch in case it isn't.
Avoid male baristas at the Lakeside store in Essex!!
If I could leave 0 stars I would. Both male
baristas in store are incredibly rude to customers. The staff need to be retrained in acceptable and basic level customer service. To speak to customers the way that they do and shout across the shop nasty things as customers are leaving are unacceptable. Be prepared to be spoken to badly and then gaslight into believing that you are the problem. Avoid at all costs!!
Generally good, but 1 unpleasant experience
I've been going to the Caffe Nero Express at London Bridge for quite a while without any issues until today, when I had quite an unpleasant experience. Somebody jumped ahead of me in the queue, and I generally make a point of not allowing behaviour like that to stand, so I informed the person at the till who had started serving him that I had been there first. Although he took my cup and asked for it to be made first, it seems that for some unfathomable reason he took exception to me doing this, because it was the most ridiculously small flat white (less than half the usual size I'd say) and was not announced when put down on the counter, which it always is.
Update 28th Feb. Though they are generally good, and had a minor issue recently which was sorted very well, so upping the review from 2 to 3 stars.
Cafe Nero’s Eastleigh is absolutely amazing!
Cafe Nero’s Eastleigh is absolutely wonderful! The staff are so nice to you! They’re always polite and friendly, remembering (somehow) the drink choices of their regular customers (me and my husband).
They seem to put extra care in all the drinks they make here.
A lovely way to start my Sunday, a nice place to meet up with friends, or just a good place to get a yummy drink.
NO WIFI
NO WIFI. They ask you to use the cloud and after signing up and putting your data in nothing will load anyway. Not good cafe to work in

This review is for Cowbridge Vale of Glamorgan . The cafe is looking grubby . Stains on chairs , dirty floor and toilets . Staff let dogs sit on the chairs with their owners without challenging which is frustrating as I was a dog owner and my dogs paws stayed firmly on the ground where they belong . I also noted a 6th form Cowbridge student sit and eat Sushi , milkshake and a banana from Waitrose with his headphones on taking up a 3 seater table . Non of the food or drink was purchased in Neros and it was plain to staff to see . Today I ordered an Oat Latte caramel to try . The manager lady turned her back and speaking to the coffee machine said “ is the oat milk preference or allergy”. I am hearing impaired and rely on lip reading especially in noisy environments . Fortunately I could just about hear what she said with my hearing aids . I also ordered a “ normal latte extra hot “. The Oat latte was made and I noticed another large oversized cup being made for the latte. I questioned the size as I did not state large . The manageress said “ I thought you said Large “. She picked up a flat white size cup and proceeded to slop the latte into that from the large cup . When I took it to the table and moved the froth aside it was half full . The young girl who came with the toasted sandwich offered to remake after I asked if it could be topped up . It arrived well made and in the proper size cup . In all honesty I dread being served by the Manageress , she always seems to be unhappy and quite terse . It spoils the visit and at near £4 a cup I would like a friendlier experience especially when I smile and constantly say please and thank you to her !
