For any people who bought from this business and didnt get what you expected to get then maybe you can get a refund from your back if you paid by a credit or debit card. Contact your bank & discuss a charge back. Consumer dispute chargeback reason codes vary by card network (like Visa, Mastercard, American Express) but generally fall into categories such as goods/services not received, not as described, or canceled, or other reasons like a credit not being processed or the customer not recognizing the charge. NOT AS DESCRIBED would be your reason for the ch/bk as you recvd goods not as described in their advert on the web site. Have a look at all the BAD reviews on Trust Pilot that will suggest ncare with any dealings with By Lunas Sandals.

Fraudulent website alleging to be a bricks and mortar store in Sydney, NSW, Australia that is closing down, but in reality is a Hong Kong shopify outlet that sells cheap, shoddy goods worth a fraction of the price paid for.
I allegedly was buying leather orthopaedic boots reduced to $64 and I got in the parcel from China a pair of vinyl flat bottomed boots maybe worth $20 in a discount store.
The supposed adult 'L' size jumper I purchased at $99 was small enough to fit my 8 year old granddaughter.
The same with the other boots (paid $67) maybe worth $14.95 in a shoe shop.

Do Not Buy From This Company. They are not Australian as they claim. They Keep putting out false advertising. Does not have a store anywhere in Australia. Keeps advertising they're "closing down", "final days", "ends tonight ". Shoes I received were poor quality, not true to sizing, not leather, not supportive for feet, and definitely not 'orthopaedic'. I bought 4 pairs and one pair was the wrong size. Originally I only asked them to replace the pair wrong in size. Seeing as it was their error, according to their T&Cs & returns policy, if their error, buyer doesn't pay shipping. They totally ignored this.
Communication with them was frustrating. They wanted to replace all the shoes but I was to pay a shipping and handling fee of $25 - $35 AUD PER PAIR! No way. I'm sure they kept going around the issue so that the buyer would just give up. Well I didn't give up. After 11 emails over 3 weeks and their last email stating "I will look into this and get back to you", I went through PayPal resolution centre and finally received a full refund for the shoes. Unfortunately I had to pay shipping for the return but not at their ridiculous cost, I organised it myself. I wish I had seen the reviews for this company beforehand. I don't know where the positive reviews come from but there was nothing positive about the product, company and communication.
Purchase made 12th July 2025, refund received 12th Sept.

Advertised as orthotic sneakers and lucky me at half price. Got two pairs of different specifically advertised orthotic shoes from this site. Complete rubbish and not orthotic at all. Could’ve got the same thing from or Temu at a sixth of what I paid. Denied a refund when I enquired about the misleading information on the shoes. So disappointed and frustrated. Useless shoes, waste of hard earned money.

FYI YOUR ARE NOT FROM AUSTRALIA! YOU ARE FROM HONGKONG!!!! STOP USING AUSTRALIA AS YOUR RETAIL NAME BECAUSE YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A LOW QUALITY PIECE OF SHIT L!

These sandals are so light and comfy, the padding on the soles are gorgeous on the bottom of your feet.

I purchased a pair of shoes & a pair of sandles. Had to chase them up on a number of occasions. Finally arrived and neither pair fit. I contacted them for a refund and was told no, but they would give me a free product but I had to pay postage etc.
On their front page they state that they will refund no matter what. I must admit I didn't look at refund policy as I took the front page statement as fact. On the refund policy it states that they won't refund on products on sale, which all their products are in fact on sale.

I believe this company/site is just a scam and they have no intention of providing customer service.

Customers need to boycott this company

Terrible: False advertising, no customer service at all.they do not respond to your emails and do not refund money. their shoes/boots are NOT leather, there is no stamp inside the shoe stating what material used. they are absolutely rubbish. BE WARE do not do the same mistake as I did.

DO NOT BUY. Consumer Affairs Australia are currently investigating this business. If you have had issues with them in Australia, please file a complaint. The more evidence Consumer Affairs has the stronger the case against them. September 2025.

Shoes were much smaller than the labelled size, were not leather, poor quality, and I was missing a pair of shoes in the order. They would not allow me to return the shoes to get my money back. They paste information all over their website and in email advertisements to indicate they are Australian, they are NOT.

The listing claims these boots are FULL GRAIN LEATHER. They are thin plastic. They smell like plastic, feel like plastic, are very light and I am sure will disintegrate after first day. Also no way are "orthopaedic" . Total scam.
Thankfully I paid with PP.
PS- now they are spamming me to buy more of their rubbish!!!!!

These shoes were not leather as stated, we’re not true to size, and the company refused a refund ( because they were on sale) despite it being clearly stated that refunds are available within 30 days on their website.. it was written on the receipt AFTER purchase that they could not be returned. Also it is exceedingly difficult to contact this company. Email addresses not found, phone messages tell you to email the address that bounces. DODGY!

A total scam. Horrible quality shoes. Denied to give refund. No one picks up phone.
