Ordered a top from this company which when it arrived was nothing like the images. The return process is awful. They ask you to contact their support team to initiate the return request. After a back and forth dialogue via email with them asking questions why I wanted to return it and requesting a photo of the top - all of which delaying the process, by the time I sent and paid for record delivery (back to China) I heard nothing. I emailed them again asking about my refund to be told it had exceeded the 30 days. I will be taking this further. Please be warned NOT to order from this company

This site is a scam.
The products are chinese cheap quality, nothing like advertised.
The phone number is not valid and they reply emails once every 4-5 days.
They will refuse to assist to return the products.
You will have to contact the bank.
Make yourself a favour an avoid this scam website.

Ordered and paid for a shirt on 3rd September. Hasn't arrived a month later. Numerous emails from me. They claimed it was in transit. Then they stopped replying to my emails.
They have a postal address in Oslo but I believe their products come from China. Do not buy from By Castello

Wish I never ordered anything from this scam of a company, items received not items advertised, then 1 item missing and won’t refund without a video of me opening my package.
Suggest people stay way clear of these con artists 👍🏻

I should have read the reviews before being fooled by good product images. The product which arrived bore no resemblance to what I thought I had purchased and I was told I had to pay to return it ... To China!!!

Complete Scam. Awful quality (1 month+ delivery), and break their T&Cs by denying a refund. The address & phone number on their website are fake - this is a company shipping direct from China.

This is a complete scam. Bought a jacket and when it eventually turned up was a cheap, nasty piece of rubbish I wouldn’t donate to a Charity shop. Shoved in a plastic bag not folded and all creased up. Then I see the same jacket for sale on Amazon so these people have simply
Copied the photo and put in on their website. The moral of the story is check things out before you buy from a company you don’t know . Oh and it was a ladies jacket. The button was on the wrong side!!!!!

Awful company and awful staff. I spent £40 on what I thought was a nice jacket. After it took around 3 weeks to arrive, I received a very thin awful jacket that looked nothing like the picture. I emailed them countless times for their return process. To which they replied once for me to send pictures of the jacket before they could process my return. Which in itself is ridiculous as their return policy is “no questions asked”. I sent the next email with the photos and what was wrong with it and a couple days went by complete silence. Eventually I gave up trying to email them. Then they had the audacity to email me after the 14-day return window for returns was over, saying “Sorry we are unable to process the return as the return window is over” like WHAT. So they happened to not see my countless emails across all their platforms. I definitely don’t recommend. Awful shop don’t buy, countless people have had the same problem. Just money grabbing fools.

Awful products cheap and nasty and customer service is crap too. Wish I had checked the reviews before trusting this scam retailer which is based in China and exporting cheap Chinese items. Stay away it’s not worth it!

The clothing I ordered is not the same as advertised in their website. The sizes are all wrong And the materials are shabby.
I requested a returns label but they are refusing At first they were asking me to send photos of their products of which I did they then said it didn’t qualify for returns. So I am left with a bag of complete rubbish. I am having to contact my bank to try and get money back.

I wouldn’t even give this Company 1 Star, like the rest of the reviews poor quality item, asked for refund on day one of receipt of item, sneakily pulling delays and told to take photo’s, more delays and no response. Offered a measly 5% off which is a joke when the item is new and then ask you to post it for between £5-£10 pounds haha do the maths on that one. I’m heading straight to Trading Standards UK. The more we complain to Trading Standards UK the more chance we have to bring this Company down. I will be contacting on Monday 6th of October. Con men can’t win! I bought light weight jacket from ByCastello.com, not only did it take one month to be delivered but they didn’t deliver what I ordered 🤦‍♀️they sent a different jacket and their return policy says you need to contact them before you return an item which I did immediately I received the package 📦 through an email and their support team Leona Meier responded and till today 4th Oct 2025 I have not heard from them again so I feel like I have been scammed.

The return policy says to return within 14days and I received it on the 30th of Sept 2025 after I purchased on the 9th Sept 2025. They are yet to get back to me because you can’t send it if not approved by them🤦‍♀️and my 14days is already running 😢

Relay if you are genuine, you better avoid this company to avoid being called out on reviews because they are shit and this is quite unfortunate for my £44.

This company is a complete CON I ordered a jumper, it looked NOTHING like the picture, bad quality, colour different. I am trying to get a refund. They are telling me to return it to China, I will have to pay for the return. On the website the address is Norway. Do NOT buy from them

Liars. Cheats. Thieves. I ordered two shirts from them in Medium which, according to the size charts on their website were 42” chest. When they arrived they were much too small and measured only 36” around the chest. I contacted them and asked for a prepaid label to return the shirts as they were not as advertised. They said I had to pay for the return as the shirts didn’t fit so that wasn’t covered by their returns policy. I assured them that the shirts didn’t fit because they were not as advertised and, therefore, unfit for purpose. They still refused to pay return postage. Their website say you have to return goods to Holland but you don’t. They have to go back to China. I sent them back and DPD delivered them on 21st July at 0904 . I am still waiting for my refund over two months later. It is obvious that they have no intention of refunding me but keep stalling me with promises that they are looking into it. Hence my opening statement. They are Cheats. They are Liars. They are thieves. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. Also, when I googled the address I had to return the goods to I found at least four other companies at the same address and when I checked out their websites they were all identical to Bycastello.com. A sure sign that this is a con

***ADVICE IF YOU HAVE ORDERED***
After reading the reviews about returns I accepted a 20% refund from them then successfully claimed the other 80% from my bank stating my concerns regarding not actually getting any refund if I returned the poor quality misdescribed goods

I think they should make it clear to customers on their website that there is a very difficult returns policy and that the shirts are of poor quality. That they will have to send emails asking them to take photos and that they will be offered 5% refund and not return £1.45 which is a joke. You should invite them to give bad reviews and feedback to any new customers. The website indicated the company is in Norway yet you are asking me to return my goods to China. That’s interesting. I would have been a regular customer to their site as would my family. But now due their rediculous customer service We will never shop with Them again. Be very careful with this company

Quite appalling experience. I wish I'd read Trustpilot reviews before ordering. Product took ages to arrive. It was very poorly packaged. It looked nothing like the website pictures and was of very low quality. I later noticed a similar product on Amazon for two thirds of the price. Plus, of course, Amazon returns are quibble free. With these scammers you have to return to China - all costs at your expense. Of course, they'll claim not to have received it, so avoid this at all costs. They keep offering minor discounts - I wouldn't give them the satisfaction. The company appears to be Norwegian. When is the Norwegian government going to take action?

I would give these guys zero if I could. I bought a 'wool' grey jacket for about £40. When it arrived it was a cheap cotton jacket, not wool, nothing like it looked online.

I immediately contacted them and they said, even though their description was completely wrong, that either I had to pay to send it back or they could offer a 20% discount.

Presumably they do this all the time to take people's money.

I rejected this and they began to negotiate. Until 30 days later when they triumphantly told me it was past 30 days, out of their returns offer, and now I would get nothing.

Totally tone deaf, no interest in their 'customers'. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE. Scam.

I am another customer who has been scammed by this Norwegian company. I ordered a Medium Cotton Gilet. After a long wait it arrived from China, badly wrapped, terrible quality and much too small. The Company have given me an address in China to send my return to. They say postage would be at my own expense and warned me customs clearance and labelling are my responsibility. As an alternative they have offered a refund of 5% of my original purchases price. I accept none of this and I hope that their advertising will soon be blocked by our Trading Standards Authority.
THIS COMPANY IS SWINDLING CUSTOMERS EVERY DAY

My credit card company has accepted my case and I have been repaid by them

I have now reported By Castello’s nefarious ways to ‘Which Consumer Association’
044- (0)29 2267 000 and to Trading Standards 044- (0)808 223 1133. Both said they would investigate and hopefully take action.
