I was sceptical of using a company like this instead of selling on Ebay, but I gave it a shot. I submitted my sale for a phone on Wednesday and it was delivered on Friday (1 day earlier than expected!). I was worried my phone was not in mint condition, but rather very good condition. The only other option was for $150 less than the price of mint, which seemed too low considering the condition of the phone. The next business day after they received it (Monday), they sent an email. It said that my phone was not in mint condition and it was more in between used and mint, so Sarah was very nice and offered $70 less instead of the full $150. I responded and accepted it and I mentioned I am hoping to get the money soon because I am leaving for vacation in a few days and I need to get a new phone ordered. Later that afternoon, Sarah responded (after they closed I believe) and sent the money, very nice of her! I obviously would've rather gotten the full price, but I am okay with this outcome, and understand why I didnt get full price. I am rather writing this review to share that I am happy with the costumer service and feel like they are reasonable with their pricing adjustments. Thank you, Sarah.

After checking several different sites and pages, no one could match the price I received from Buyback Surgeon. The instructions were easy to follow and I received my payment very quickly! I would definitely recommend and will use again in the future.

I was quoted a price of $200 after filling out the form. Once they got my phone, they said that the battery life is at 75% and they consider that damaged. They offered $75. Talk about a bait and switch! No where did they ask about the battery health on the form and they waited until they had my phone before mentioning it. No way! They’ll drop a battery in it, put it as refurbished and sell it for like $600! They trying to squeeze every last penny out of you! You can get more out of store trade than that. At least they sent me my phone back(battery drained by the way) and in relatively the same condition, but with way more fingerprints on it than what I sent in.

Update:
So I did email the owner back. Right before they sent this reply to my review. When I was going through the forms, I did not see any mention about a battery. Sure, I could have missed it because I am human and errors can happen. There is absolutely no mention of a “damaged” condition where they try to give you $75 for your phone which is a terrible for the customer but they’re strong on the fact that you probably need money and they already have your phone that you will just accept it. My phone, despite their description, is not damaged. It is called wear and tear. The phone itself is in mint physical condition and runs smoothly. I have never seen a battery brought up with any of the other companies when quoting prices. I did not see battery brought up with this company’s quote either. So if they have somewhere else, further on the site, yes, I could have missed it. This is my experience with the company and it has not improved.

The owner has reached out and has further clarified their stance. While I am still not happy with my experience, I will give credit to the owner for trying to make things right and has promised to make things more clear on their site. For the effort to reach out and wanting to improve, I upgraded my review from one star to three.

Shipped them my phone. They received it and sent the agreed money same day. No issues. Was concerned but this company is legitimate.

Phone was in excellent shape; just as described. They shipped it out extremely fast and I am completely satisfied with the product and great service. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again.

I received a Galaxy S10+ on the date projected & in excellent condition from Buyback Surgeon via Swappa. The condition listed was conservative and exceeded my expectations. It was fully functional, & at what I consider a very reasonable price. I would certainly order from this seller again.

I purchased a Galaxy 22 Ultra. Received it quickly, as described and at a great price! What's not to like?

The packaging was a little less than I would have expected (an expensive phone wrapped in bubble wrap in a padded envelope - vs - being wrapped and packaged in a cardboard box). But the phone arrived unscathed and in perfect working order so I guess my fear was unfounded, though USPS will give you priority boxes at no cost.

Granddad was going to be the Easter Bunny this Easter and was a little short on expendable funds. The iPad I sold to buyback surgeon was arriving on Good Friday when all had the day off but they made an exception so some grandchildren would have a joyful holiday weekend during their visit to Granddaddy Easter Bunny’s hopping happy home.

We agreed on a price so I shipped my 2 brand new phones. Only when they got them they wanted to go back on the price and renegotiate the set price, $450 LESS than what was agreed. They paid me, but ILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH “Buybacksurgeon” AGAIN. I WENT TO BUYBACKBOSS and they pay top dollar, no scams.

I wrote a review assuming this was another scam company. After my experience with Jason I came to realize I was wrong. Jason was professional and exhibited great customer service as well as being knowledgeable. I tried to delete my 1st review but couldn't figure out how. I would give this company an 8 star if I could all because of Jason, he represents Buyback Surgeon well. I will most definitely refer this company to sell your use cell phones, and will be selling my iPhone watch series 7 because I no longer have my iPhone.

I sold 2 iPhones to Buyback Surgeon. They advertised 1 day review and next day payment and they delivered. I’m impressed. There was no hassle. Other companies offered far less payment. I think Buyback Surgeon was fair and reasonable and I intend to use them again in the future.

The company received our used devices on 12/5. The initial communication from them about an issue was not received; however, they responded immediately when I emailed asking for an update. Once they knew the initial communication wasn’t received, they were thorough in their explanation and very timely in their communication! Issue resolved!
