The cheese was not delivered to me. Butlers said they had fulfilled their obligation by sending it and refused to either chase up the courier or replace the cheese. Terrible customer service.

Overpriced and Bad value for money!
Bought black sticks blue cheese Easter egg letterbox gift for family member who is allergic to chocolate ☹️and VERY disappointed in the cost-size ratio, (£9 + £4 postage). Will not buy this sort of gift again,

Thank you for your review Barbara. We're sorry to hear that you are disappointed in our Blacksticks Blue cheese Easter egg letterbox gift and feel it is not good value for money.
We have included lifestyle imagery on our website to show the size and shape of the cheese Easter egg, so that for the more visual shopper they can see what they are getting. We have also included the weight of our cheese eggs for those shoppers who prefer to know the weight of the cheese.
If you have any feedback on how we can improve our egg imagery to show the size to avoid this disappointment in future please do not hesitate to email us on hello@butlerscheeses.co.uk.

The Easter eggs were delivered on time with a comfortable sell by date. They came in a box well cushioned against knocks and with an accompanying ice block. Excellent delivery. As for the eggs - not consumed yet but I have ordered these for the last couple of years and I know they will be delicious. Cheese Easter eggs - bliss.

Thank you for your review Steve. We're sorry to hear that despite us putting quite clearly on our letterbox gifts to post through the letterbox, Royal Mail posties for you have ignored this. We shall feed this back to them to hopefully reduce this happening in future.

Thank you for your 1 star review Jon.
I replied to your email about the delivery cost, however for reference I said:
"Thank you also for bringing your feedback directly to us and reviewing us on Trustpilot, good or bad, we like to hear all feedback so that we can improve our service.
I’m sorry to hear that the price of delivery was a blocker to you placing your order.
You order would go with the couriers we use, APC, which has a £6.99 delivery charge.
Our cheese Easter eggs are also available as a letterbox gift which costs £4 and is sent with Royal Mail.
These can be found here: https://butlerscheeses.co.uk/collections/through-the-letterbox
This is a subsidised charge, as Royal Mail and APC have increased their prices a few times over the last 18 months, and the increased rate is higher than our advertised rate.
For all orders over £40, excluding letterbox gifts, we offer free delivery.
I hope that in the future the delivery charge is no longer a blocker to order, and you enjoy your eggs from Morrisons.
Many thanks, Lou"
I hope following our emails, that you have managed to purchase one of our eggs from your local Morrisons stores, and enjoy our cheese.
Thanks, Lou
