When the tips did not help, Carmela arranged to replace the buckle right away. At every interaction, Carmela responded in minutes. Do not buy these belts, they look and feel very good but so they should as they are very expensive. They also send them out in very nice packaging, but that is where the quality ends. I have two belts a black and a brown, I have not yet worn the brown, and only used the black one a few times when going out smart. The black belt has split about 6 inches away from the buckle, obviously not strain in this location so must be a quality issue, and to be fair I have never seen anything leather just split open unless it's worn thin or something. I am not the first to report this, and customer service just said it's out of warranty, although I sent them images. I understand it being out of warranty for normal wear and tear but this is clearly a manufacturing fault as I am not the only one, I would go as far to say that the front is not leather, it is intact a man made leather (PVC). I am a shoe repairer and worked with leather for years, and you don't see dogs leather collars just splitting like these expensive belts.
UPDATE
Buckley belts have now been in touch and agreed that my belt should not split like it has, and is sending me out a replacement.

I would love to be able to comment on the quality of the belts that my husband ordered, but we never received them. The package was delivered by eMile, and was then stolen off of our front porch because it was left in plain view of the road, contrary to our delivery instructions. We have a box on our porch for packages to be placed in or behind so they can't be seen from the street, but this was not followed. When my husband reached out to the company, they responded once to tell him to contact eMile...then when eMile never responded, they ghosted. Horrible customer service!

Split in under one year. Form letter reply with no help. Started off a good product then the buckle continually falls off in the washroom, bedroom or just walking around. Leather split and needed to be cut back many times, now I don't have room to cut the belt to a not split area.
Its a shame it does not last. So don't buy from this vender.
Update: There reply is in a short format. To bad to sad! Not doing a thing to help. Don't fall for it.

My wife bought me a Buckley Belt for Christmas. The Buckle mechanism broke after 4 weeks. Buckley Belts will NOT replace or offer a refund. Poor quality. Poor customer service. Not worth the money.

Received what looks like a beautiful belt as a Christmas present. It is now only just February and have worn the belt a handful of times. The belt just will not hold .
Can’t get any satisfaction from manufacture as I don’t have the receipt and neither does the person who gave me the belt . You don’t expect to have to save a receipt for a belt .
So my review is looks great but to hold my trousers of I don’t wish to wear braces to have a stylish belt.

Very easy to use and the perfect fit claims are true, however once the belt begins to show wear/tear and the clasp is still fine you have to order a whole new belt including the clasp.
I would have to throw away a perfectly good clasp which i dislike, allow customers to order the individual parts please.

Initially very happy but after just over a year the buckle has broken. Having contacted the company they are unable to sell me a buckle, meaning the whole belt now has to go in the bin. A real waste and very shortsighted. I would expect a £40 belt to last longer this especially as it was not being used every day.

The company did not believe I was scamming for free products. The post office was on strike in Canada so I believe that was the problem. They believe me and I eventually received the belts. Excellent belts by the way. Most companies were just passed you by if you were trying to replace an article that you figured was lost they did not do that. Thank you very much.

I returned two belts and the company had them for 20 days before I finally received my refund. I was originally told the refund would be issued within 3–5 business days, but nothing happened until I chased them. Only after I mentioned escalating the issue through my bank and Trading Standards did they suddenly tell me the refund was “being processed”. I received the refund today, which makes it clear the process only began after my follow‑up email.
The belts were shipped from China, but this information was not made clear before ordering. There was no invoice in the parcel, so I had to contact the company directly just to get the return address and complete a form before sending the items back.
Customers should be aware that communication was poor, the return process was unclear, and the refund was significantly delayed until I intervened.
Update: Unfortunately despite the company’s reply below, no effort has been made on their part to contact me.

I have received the belts today and they were very well received by my husband! He is very happy with them! He has been looking for these belts forever and we could not find the sliding mechanism belts anywhere, until I surprised him with Buckley. I ordered the 3 pack belts as a Christmas gift for my husband. Unfortunately the delivery went astray(stuff happens) but each time I contacted Buckley Belts’ customer service, through their email address, they always replied in a timely manner. Their customer service is outstanding! They did resend my order and it arrived a week or so later. My original order did arrive eventually and Buckley Belts told me to keep them with their compliments, no extra charge!
The belts are good quality and my husband is impressed with the locking system. I would definitely recommend Buckley Belts!
