Having used Evans Halshaw for many years, we were unsure about using Britannia Motor Company Ltd at first. From our first phone call to driving away in our new car, we enjoyed an attentive, courteous and professional service. We did not experience any pressure (unlike other car salespeople) and were looked after throughout. A special mention also to Max, our salesman, who is an asset to the company. First class service, trading standards approved and couldn't fault a thing. Well done and diolch yn fawr!

Completely different feel from the nationwide car garages which was a breath of fresh air. No pressure sale and brilliant customer service. Everyone we spoke to was polite and you feel you are genuinely cared for. Archie was the salesman we dealt with and offered a fair price for my car on part exchange and helped with the retention of my private plate and paperwork. Car mats provided in the post too which was a nice touch - thanks.

So far my car has run brilliantly and I’m very happy. Will definitely keep an eye out and visit again when looking for a new car in future.

Vehicles seemed a fair price especially with the warranty cover, 2 months in we've had no issues other than slight creaks from one door when going over bumps. I had noticed during the test drive but do remember to turn off the radio to listen for things. They let us both test drive and take our time.

So great reviews are fine when everything goes smoothly but how about when they don't! This is in fact a 4.6 stars but left it as 5 because of the excellent communication throughout. Russell Stoneman at Britannia was fantastic with the sale. Clear, direct and very helpful, he was organised with the paperwork, accomodating with sorting out payment and even picked me up from the train station when I returned by rail to pickup. From start to finish I felt he was completely attentive. However....... on taking the vehicle away I almost immediately (well when it first rained!) noticed the ceiling inside the car getting very damp and water dribbling down. I immediately got in touch with Russell and he was not standoffish, he was very engaged and polite, and so agreed to have it checked out to see what was the cause. They agreed to cover this diagnostic cost. Turns out the windscreen seal was faulty and letting in large amounts of water. After some discussion and lots of me phoning around for quotes we got costs back and they agreed to pay nearly half the cost (over half the cost if you include the diagnostic). SO in conclusion I was sold a vehicle with a defect and it did cost me several days worth of time to get this sorted out (and additional pounds) BUT they were really helpful and did communicate excellently, they were always available and I didn't feel like I was getting a brush off. They covered the lions share of the cost. So earnt a solid 4.6 out of 5.

I would like to thank Shane and the sales team at britannia. They have been a great help with me as it is the first time I have bought a car through the Internet without seeing it in person. They have been patient and gave speedy replys to my queries. They have given accurate and truthful description of the car. I bought my car without having to visit the garage, Shane was very helpful and informative, including a video tour of the car.he also assisted with financing it and delivered the car himself.there was an issue with the aircon which could not be resolved locally so Shane collected the car in exchange for a courtesy car, and I got it back with repaired aircon system in a week, clean and with fuel topped up.it was a pleasure dealing with this company and Shane in particular.thankyou!

Very friendly service. Was not pushy at all and felt like I got a very reasonable deal with a part exchange. We were able to test drive the car and the process for buying was very straight forward. Ended up driving away the same day and haven't had any problems thus far. Extremely happy with the car and would happily use Britannia again if I needed to.

From the initial text noting interest in the car to it sitting on our drive, having been delivered from 400 miles away, has been faultless and completed in less than 72hrs. I took the slightly uncomfortable decision to buy a car without seeing it in person beforehand. The good news was everything was exactly as listed and the car was exactly as described. Russel S was brilliant throughout. He was honest (including sticking the the indicative trade in price on my old car) and communication was excellent. All in all my dealings with Britannia couldn't have been any better!

Courteous welcome, cars well prepared, sensible negotiations, leading to us driving away with the car we wanted. A real “can do” attitude resulted in us being able to drive away in our chosen car on the same day we walked into the showroom.
