I was in the process of arranging some…

I was in the process of arranging some viewings with Ben at the Ash Vale branch. My London property is going on the market within the next 4 weeks and I've been told should sell quite quickly !! Ben cancelled the viewings stating that he did not wish to show me properties if mine had not sold and was not near to completion??? Never heard so much ### in my life well Ben you have just lost one valued cash buyer 👋

Above and beyond

My experience with Bridges has been brilliant, and Simon Kerry especially. I have moved several times and my experience with estate agents has not been great, but Simon has restored my faith. He couldn’t do enough for us and definitely went above and beyond. He called back promptly every time I called and he wasn’t available. He went out of his way to answer any queries I had and was quite simply a Star!. I would thoroughly recommend Bridges, their professionalism and dedication and experienced staff made what is usually a very stressful experience much less so.

Please be cautious with bridges!!

Please be cautious with bridges ! We progressed a purchase through Bridges and later discovered discrepancies in the marketed measurements/floorplan. After raising concerns, particulars were amended, but responsibility was denied and no compensation offered despite wasted costs and time. Disappointed with both accuracy of information and complaint handling. Matter has been referred to The Property Ombudsman.

ASK FOR YOUR CLEANING RECEIPT WHEN YOU LEAVE. They tried to fleece me £288 for cleaning, taking it out of my deposit. When I pushed them for a receipt, they got back to me later after a lot of nudges with the actual receipt being £150. They were a nightmare to deal with throughout and the person I dealt with was very rude and arrogant. Don't use.

Would recommend

We changed to Bridges Ash Vale after a poor experience. Dan, Ben and their team worked tirelessly sending viewers to the property just as the market went downhill which made their job a lot harder. Eventually we sold and have now moved. I would recommend this branch as they gave a good service, were professional and very helpful with the whole process.

Professional service that feels personal

Having used Bridges for letting, and subsequent sale of my property, I would recommend them to anyone. For lettings, they always find a suitable tenant, and the sales side go above and beyond. Having just completed a very awkward sale, I have to say a massive thank you to Matt Bozier and Melanie Williams in particular, without their knowledge and hard work, a difficult sale would have become an impossible one. And there's always someone to speak to if you need them.. A rarity these days! Great work! 👏 👏.

Platinum Homes Frimley? Be sure to ask for Jazzie

A rather mixed review of Platinum Homes Frimley for my experience.
Our first sale fell apart due to the most difficult sellers we’ve ever encountered, and this was “managed” by Matt, who seemed more concerned with managing to ignore my communications as much as humanly possible.
After a number of weeks he was then replaced with Phil, whose communication was even worse; as the supposed team leader, you’d expect an element of professionalism, but instead we were completely ignored.
He never returned calls, emails, WhatsApp.

I even called and attended the office to try and get an update in person as our sellers weren’t responding to comms on completion, and he never turned up despite one colleague telling me he’d be back at this time on the phone, and another colleague calling him several times during the hour I waited - he never picked up.

Just before our transaction fell apart, Jazzie took over our case, and finally we had someone who actually understood the concept, and value of good communication.

We actually went on to purchase another property through Bridges, but it was on the insistence that we solely communicated with Jazzie as our experience with her other colleagues had seriously dented our confidence in them.
Jazzie was great at communicating throughout the purchase, polite, professional, kept us updated at regular intervals, and replied promptly to our queries, so in short - I would recommend Platinum Homes, *but* only if you work with her!

Extremely Poor Service, High Pressure, and Misleading Contract Termination

My experience with Bridges Estate Agents (Frimley) was extremely disappointing and stressful. I regret signing their contract and strongly advise other sellers to proceed with caution.

1. High-Pressure Selling and Misrepresentation

I initially contacted the agent simply for a property valuation. I was pressured to sign a Sole Selling Rights contract on the same day (20 October 2025). The agent repeatedly claimed they were "the best in the business," spoke negatively about competitors, and strongly encouraged me to use their recommended solicitor despite my clear preference to use my own.

2. Zero Performance and Poor Management

Despite these assurances, my property was marketed for the 8-week period and received zero confirmed viewings.
I had clearly informed the agent that I was unavailable on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. When they eventually mentioned two potential buyers, the suggested viewing was on a Wednesday. No effort was made to propose alternative dates or manage availability proactively. This lack of action was later referenced by the agent as a reason for the absence of viewings.

3. Lack of Professionalism in Marketing

When a representative attended my property to take marketing photographs, papers were left on the floor and on furniture. These items were visible in the photographs that were later published online for advertising. This demonstrated a clear lack of care and basic professionalism in presenting my home for sale.

4. Attempted Extension of Contractual Liability

After the 8-week period ended, I served my 21-day termination notice in line with the contract. However, the administrative team attempted to state that my Sole Selling Rights liability extended until 9 March 2026, instead of the correct termination date of 6 January 2026. I had to re-read my own contract and challenge this date to correct the record.

5. Contradictory Information Regarding Viewers

Despite repeatedly stating that no viewings had taken place, the agency later sent a list of two alleged "viewers," which contradicted earlier emails from their staff confirming that no viewings were successfully arranged. This inconsistency caused unnecessary confusion and appeared to be an attempt to preserve a potential future commission claim.

Overall, I felt pressured at the start, ignored during the marketing period, and handled aggressively once I exercised my right to terminate the agreement. The service provided was minimal, while significant emphasis appeared to be placed on maintaining contractual control rather than delivering results.

I strongly recommend that sellers avoid Sole Selling Rights agreements with this firm or seek independent legal advice before signing.

Extremely Disappointing

Extremely Disappointing, Unprofessional, and Potentially Discriminatory Experience

We had one of the worst rental application experiences with Touchstone and their agent Bridges. We submitted all required documents the same documentation that was accepted the week before for a more expensive property through Goodlord. That previous process went smoothly and our funds were returned in full.

With Touchstone and Bridges, the experience was completely different.

We were told our offer was accepted by the Bridges agent. From that moment, communication suddenly changed. The same agent who was calling and messaging us quickly before the viewing began ignoring our calls and WhatsApp messages once we submitted our application.

I emailed her and received an out-of-office reply claiming she was on annual leave until 6 December. But when I called Bridges’ head office, they connected me directly to the same agent who was supposedly on leave. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

After nearly two weeks of waiting, Touchstone told us only two days before our move-in date that we “didn’t meet financial requirements,” even though we provided a guarantor earning over £100,000 per year and owning a UK home. No explanation was given.

We were one of the first families to view the property, offered the full asking price, and were told we were accepted. Suddenly, everything changed without reason or transparency.

This experience raises serious concerns under:
• The Tenant Fees Act 2019 – regarding unfair retention of fees
• Consumer Rights Act 2015 – misleading and inconsistent communication
• The Property Ombudsman Code of Practice – lack of fairness and transparency

As a Black family, the sudden shift in treatment, avoidance, and refusal despite providing a strong guarantor has left us seriously questioning whether discrimination played a role.

This process caused stress, financial loss, and major disruption to our family with two young children. I would not recommend Touchstone or Bridges based on how we were treated.

We have recently sold our house with…

We have recently sold our house with Bridges and wanted to give 5 stars to Matt Bozier who has been incredible in helping to progress our sale and purchase and move the chain to completion. He has been honest, reliable and incredibly hard working and we would definitely work with him again. He is an asset to bridges and hugely improved our experience of working with them. He has genuinely gone above and beyond in supporting us and really does deserve a lot of recognition for how hard he has worked over the past 10 months. We do believe that our chain would likely have fallen through on several occasions had Matt not worked so tirelessly across the chain to keep things progressing. Thank you Matt!

Wish we'd used them first

After using 2 other estate agents, Bridges (Hook) managed to book more appointments within the first 10 days than the previous agents put together! The sale process has been long but Kathy has been invaluable to the whole process, chasing and keeping us updated - she was on the journey with us. I would recommend Bridges to anyone else looking to sell.

Excellent Service from Bridges…

I have employed the services of Bridges Letting agency in Fleet. From the start of meeting Sam Burrows at my property, she was extremely professional and attentive to my needs (especially on the basis I have never been a landlord before). Literally one week later, I have a tenant signed up and Sam has kept me abreast of everything on a regular basis.
I highly recommend her and the services of Bridges Lettings in Fleet.

Ben Granville is Top Man at Bridges

Ben Granville is Top Man at Bridges, Ash Vale. He brings the village to life with his effervescence! He has a winning personality, his kindness to us and his endeavour to ensure a good sale was of paramount importance to him. He has a way of making people feel valued and relaxed in his presence. We had some challenging times yet Ben was always available to actively listen and helped to remedy situations for us with his amazing communication skills. His professionalism and polished appearance give the client a secure feeling in the knowledge that this gentleman has the client’s best interest at heart.

Impeccable service from Bridges Estate Agent

We have a property that we rent out through Bridges Estate Agent. The service we receive each time is impeccable. Kerry's assistance is meticulous and she is always responsive and helpful in booking engineers' visists. The outstanding service we received has incentivised us in extending the contract with the Tenants for another two years.
We strongly recommend Bridges Estate Agent to anyone looking to rent out or to sell/buy property. Best Reagards.

Shop around…

They showed NO enthusiasm or interest in selling our property in Woking and was a waste of three months! There is nothing more to say. Most of the phone calls was us chasing them for a response. Stay away or advertise with multiple agencies if possible.
