Appalling company, do not go near them. I ordered bookends as featured in a Sunday supplement magazine. On both occasions the bookend was delivered broken. They are cheap Chinese rubbish. If you want a refund you have to fund the return yourself, and good luck trying to negotiate that. They are to be avoided at all costs. Keep your money.

The lights were inaccurately described. When we requested a return and refund, we we told to pay for the return costs to China ourselves. Eventually, the bank intervened and through "chargeback" the bank clawed the money back. In short, it was a terrible experience.

This company is nothing but a scam, we ordered a light fitting for £66, when it arrived it was damaged, posted in a flimsy box from China. The item was very very poor quality, flimsy metal and with rough edges. Service since has been appalling, sent picture and videos showing the damage, but have not received a refund, have just been asked to send more videos.

Avoid at all costs, service & item would be better on Temu

I would give zero stars if I could. This is a scam company. They ship items from China, which is not mentioned anywhere on the website. The light didn’t work, and was a nightmare to put together even for a trained electrician. They would only provide me a full refund if I shipped back to China at my own cost. I have since managed to get my money back quickly through Amex

Firstly we failed to read the reviews, massive mistake we ordered a clock which took a month to be delivered and the description was high quality ,we received a cheap plastic clock .
We raised a complaint on the day it was delivered In November. The company said we had to return to China at our cost for a refund or keep it for 25% discount . This goes against their returns and refund policy.
The clock has been sent back, we have emailed the company with the tracking number etc, surprise no response . We have now to wait 15 days for our refund and then enter a dispute ,rhis is now into December. DEFINITELY AVOID THIS COMPANY

I would stay away from this company. I just wish I’d checked on here first.
Item took ages to arrive well over stated delivery time frame. I tried to cancel before it arrived as it had been so long.
Poor quality.
Website states uk returns which is not true you have to return to China at your expense.
Breach uk consumer law.
Trying to claim back as purchased on credit card.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Scammers misselling cheap goods from China that are defective and even though their T&Cs say they will cover the returns if damaged, they are asking me to return both heavy lamps to CHINA at my own cost. Appalling - we have exchanged over 100+ emails and they are taking no responsibility. Do not lose your money like I have.

Same as others, large lighting item is poor quality and I paid over £100 for it. Now they want me to send it to a random man in China for a refund. (Despite the website implying that it is a London based company and the stating that the return address is in the Netherlands) AVOID!

I wish I could rate this 0 stars!!! They arrived on the 21st Oct wrapped in bubble wrap and all bent up I raised a complaint immediately its now the 7th dec and I still have no answers!!!

Shopping with Brick by Brick London felt simple and pleasant. Their selection of lighting and decor pieces is tasteful and not overwhelming — exactly what I was looking for to refresh my home. SCAM! Avoid at all costs!

I love how Brick by Brick London offers home accessories that make my space feel cozy and intentional. The lamp I ordered added a warm glow to my living room — just enough to transform it from ordinary to inviting. Delivery was smooth and packaging careful. It’s nice to shop somewhere that seems to care about the little details.

On balance I think you get what you pay for as extremely affordable products. However, an item came damaged and I was asked to return to China (at cost to myself) to receive a refund. Definitely false advertising as the website says returns to Netherlands. I would use again but go in with your eyes open.

We changed our mind on the order of two light shades, cancelled the order the same day but they refused. Having received and returned the items at great expense they are now refusing to return funds

This company are scammers, AVOID at all costs, I left a one star review after defective and late delivery, they are still messing me about for a refund after two months.

Scam company advertising themselves to be trading from Netherlands, by the sounds of it I would say China. Trying to return the lamp. They make it impossible trying to offer you 20%, 25% off. I will be disputing this transaction with my bank. Dispute accepted and eventually got the money back through the bank. A lot of hassle though. Please don’t use this company.

I ordered two lamp shades with an estimated delivery timeframe of 5 - 8 working days and I am yet to receive them more than 3 weeks later. Customer services is online only and responses are just stringing you along with no resolution. Website is very professional so it's easy to fall for it. Wish I'd read these reviews before I placed the order. I have reported it as a fraudulent transaction.

Echoing what others have written, avoid this company. It's called Brick by Brick London and has a .co.uk address, but the return address listed on its website is in the Netherlands. When I tried to return the items I received, I was told to send them to an address in China, which doesn't show up on Google or Google Maps, and I was sent a phone number that's listed as belonging to a different company in a different building. The customer service representative I was emailing did not acknowledge the Netherlands address or respond to the concerns I raised about the misrepresentation of the company on its website. He said there is only one returns address, in China. This directly contradicts the information on the website. Looking more closely at the item listing, I see it shows two different items, one poorer quality than the other. I received the poor quality items; the quality certainly did not reflect the price. When I emailed to request a refund, I was repeatedly offered discounts to keep the items instead. I wish I'd read these reviews before ordering from this company!
