Romsey customer service- awful.
Romsey store, yesterday trying to purchase a coffee machine. Stood at the till waiting for service for 5 minutes. The teller eventually arrived and served someone who had just arrived at the desk completely ignoring my wife and I.
When we were eventually served I placed the box on the counter top but didn’t notice that the corner had rested on a box behind the display. The box dropped about 2 inches from my hand to the counter. The Bradbeers employee snapped at me “You don’t need to throw it at me”. At that point I decided to take my business elsewhere. Purchased the same product, cheaper and received far better service.
We will never shop at this store again, even though it is local to us.

Great after sales service
Great after sales service
Bought a dining table with chairs and bench a couple of months ago along with a side bureau. Ordering and delivery was great and staff were very helpful in store.
When the table was delivered it had a couple of small marks on the surface (wood).
Called customer service and after sending a couple of pictures quickly agreed to swap with a replacement.
No fuss, great delivery team, no long arguments, just proper customer service on a high value item.
For this reason alone I would highly recommend Bradbears as a company.

Lovely morning in Bradbeers
Have just paid a lovely visit to Bradbeers in New Milton. What a delightful place this is. As an older person it reminds me how department stores used to be. We had breakfast in the restaurant where a lovely young lady served us and the food was excellent. Also good to see a haberdashery section which are sometimes difficult to find these days. Spent a lovely hour browsing round all the departments. Thoroughly enjoyable morning. We stay nearby every summer so will be back again next time.
Excellent customer service from Brigitta
Took my elderly mother for a bra fitting. Brigitta was so kind and patient and went out of her way to make Mum feel comfortable and made sure she was completely happy with her purchase. Thank you

Southampton Hedge End Warehouse
This is such a shame i have to rate this store/ warehouse so low . Having experienced the perfect 5 star service from the New Milton store i was expecting the same . Communacation from warehouse zero , not one update . I knew the timescale and knew it would be early January .I went back to the New Milton store to see if they had heard any news .Thet said it had arrived in the depo and they should be in contact soon . I waited a few days still nothing so i returned to the New Milton , they looked online and gave me a delivery date of 24th Jan . That means 12 days my 2.5k order is sitting in the warehouse collecting dust and taking floor space . I asked if it could be any sooner but they said no . Ok i thought maybe if i email them i might get somewhere . Well how wrong was i . The email stated we have kept to our delivery times and we are busy . There is no quality control in the warehouse , which is very alarming ... but they have someone to come out and inspect the goods if there is a problem . Why does that guy not check the stock in house just in case it is damaged . After reading a few reviews i feel sorry for the delivery drivers they have small lorrys that can't hold much . They have to unwrap the sofas etc and check them , but if they are faulty they won't take them back . Before you reply to this review i ran a warehouse which was on a much larger scale and i kept all my customers up to date from week 2 to week 12 , phoned suppiler for updates and asked for a confirmation email once they had arranged shipping . Then we would contact customer to say all being well we can deliver on these dates . Then yesterday i did get a phone call and was told my delivery would be between 12 and 2 . They never checked to make sure they had the correct address or a contact number just in case there was a delay . I asked if the driver would call 20 minutes before they arrived so i could pop home and let them in . Thankfully that happened and 2 brilliant guys bought the gooods in and unwrapped the sofas and fitted the legs etc . Your lucky to have 2 good delivery drivers , i would give there service a 5 star review all day long .

Purchased a table with bench and chairs together with two sofa's. Brilliant - couldn't fault.
Good old fashion customer service
Good old fashion customer service. The helpful salesperson "Denise" at their Hedge End furniture store helped us buy the chairs and sofa we wanted. Good stock to choose from. When delivered the crew were great in getting furniture in and removing the old stuff. looking to add another chair so will go back soon.

Not happy...
Purchased a sofa from Bradbeers in Hedge End. After it was delivered it took me an hour to hoover off all the little pieces of wood and black fluff entwined in the fabric even though it had a cover on so I don't understand how this happened. I really wasn't impressed I had to do this after spending 2.5k! Also it's like sitting on a wooden bench, when purchasing wasn't given the option of a softer filling like the one in the store plus there is a dirty mark on the arm. Not happy...

Need customer service training immediately
Seeking a sofa bed we decide to take a visit to Bradbeers.
We walked past clumps of sales advisors who ignored us as we searched.
On the upper floor one at his computer left us alone and another walked straight past as us we stood scratching our heads thinking there must be more than the one sofa bed.
Back downstairs, it took half a floor before a lovely lady came to our rescue. She admitted she was new, she has to find answers. But we didn’t mind, she was friendly and helpful unlike everyone else in there.
During our visit we did overhear two interesting conversations. One being about delivery times and how they were struggling to get the stock on time.
The other more crass was between 4 waste of spaces (they weren’t there to help customers!) asking one of them if they’d managed to get the customer to part with her money and get the deposit.
The U.K. is short of furniture shops that don’t have a permanent sale on. I would have expected more from this local independent retailer.

Abysmal. Don’t believe the delivery times for your furniture, they pick a number out of fresh air. Apparently they do know once they place the order with the manufacturer, a couple of days after you order it, but they are far too busy to spend 30 seconds on a phone call to let you know that the approximate lead time that they quoted you is wildly inaccurate.Nothing to do with the fact that they don’t give a damn now they have your deposit. And certainly don’t bother the manager, he has to deal with so many manufacturers that he hasn’t time to let his staff know lead times. Oh, and don’t believe them when they tell you that the manufacturer isn’t answering their phones, or read emails any time soon. When your furniture leaves the factory expect to wait for anything up to 3-4 weeks for them to deliver it. Never again for me, sorry, tried to support local, will have to wait till they join the 21 st century!!! Ours ordered end Oct. ….told ready mid Jan. still waiting for delivery time……

Surprising lack of customer service
My mother-in-law and I came in to buy her a new handbag yesterday. We were looking at all the bags and stopped near 2 shop assistants and I asked them if a particular bag was dark blue or black, to which the reply was blue.
We continued around the shop looking at various bags for quite some time being completely ignored by the staff. After finally finding quite an expensive bag we started looking for purses, still being ignored. When finally I asked whether any of a particular section of purses where in the sale, I was told "we don't ever put (brand) in the sale!". No further help was offered and we paid for the bag without any purse. Not good enough Bradbeers!
Gobsmacked!!!!!!
So I went into Bradbeers Hedge End, Southampton to purchase a new wardrobe. I spoke with a sales advisor on the Thursday evening. I picked out the wardrobe but couldn’t decide on colour so she advised to go home have a think and come back. There was a query on the price as the price displayed was different from the brochure. The sales advisor said she would look into it and let me know the outcome on my return but would honour the brochure price which was lower than the display price. So this is where it gets strange. I returned on the Friday to purchase not one but two wardrobes. The sales advisor was pleased and also very good. However she could not sell me both of them for the agreed price on the previous visit only one of them. She went and spoke to her manager who said that he could not do anything about it either. So I ended up only purchasing one of them as I didn’t want to buy the exact same product for £200+ more. So for the sake the sales people not taking off the same amount they lost a sale of £2260? I just found this unbelievable service!

Absolutely abismal service
Absolutely abismal service. Timelines and etas were completely inaccurate. 7 phone calls to the store and only one call back to say furniture will not be delivered before Christmas. One week later it is in but it hasn’t moved from the warehouse for over a week. No updates. Excuse after excuse and still no idea when item will be delivered. Advised mid to end November it’s now 13th December. Conflicting information and excuses. Went to an independent to get good service. This was not the case

This a review for the instore restaurant. One of the staff was incredibly short, rude and offhand with another customer who had disability and needed a table by the door. The customer sat down at a table by the door and asked the waitress if she could clean it. The waitress was incredibly rude and resulted in the couple walking out. Disgraceful behaviour and we certainly won’t be returning there either.

Very good service from the beginning to the end. Good quality piece of furniture and the delivery men had a difficult task getting it to the top storey of an old house, so thank you for their care and attention.

Staff helpful and friendly but not pushy (which immediately puts us off). We like time to envisage how items would fit/look. ie size etc.
Furniture arrived within the given lead time.
Delivery staff friendly and polite, most careful bringing awkward shaped recliners into first floor flat without scraping walls - well done chaps!
Bradbeers can be a nice shop to browse (which we were - and ended up spending over £6K!!!!!)
Table and benches
Chose a table that we thought would be to big, a very helpful assistant (a man) explained said table came in three sizes. Also very helpful in advising us on the bench’s with the choice of materials we could have on the backs and seats.
