Absolutely awful service. Lies and aggressive sales tactics used. Also tried to attempt the illegal practice of conditional selling "your offer will only be accepted if you sell with us".

I would recommend you avoid having anything to do with the Ilfracombe branch and if you are unfortunate enough to have no other options make sure every single communication is in writing from them.

It has put me off even considering any property advertised by them.

Appalling service from the Ilfracombe branch. Lies, miscommunication and misrepresentation by the estate agents. Rude and bullying towards potential buyers.

The Auction specialist assigned to the sale , Harry Jaggs, was extremely helpful throughout the process.
He responded to all of my calls and queries promptly and explained the procedures to me with both patience and clarity.
He liaised well with all participants to ensure that we reached a price that was beneficial to all involved.
Would recommend!

Excellent estate agents in Barnstaple. Aidan and Will were great along with the rest of the team. Also a huge thank you to Philippa in Oakhampton who went above and beyond.
They made selling our late mother's property as smooth as possible, keeping us updated on a regular basis and chasing buyers when needed completing sale in just 8 weeks!
Will defiantly use them again and recommend when ever possible.

Extremely poor communication and lack of trust. as a buyer, treated terribly. Confirmed an offer, only to gazump with a higher bid, without getting back to me. When asked why this had happened - told 'well the other buyer got their ID in quicker than you'. I said I was ready to go, but now didn't trust viewing properties marketed by them, in case it happened again. Disgusting immature response. No follow up. Pretty sure the seller doesn't realise their unethical practices. I will now not view any properties marketed by them, as I will not trust their purchase process.

Really cared about the sale going through. Were so persistent in prompting seller for information. Made sure we got to the completion day we wanted. Very approachable and came back straight away to messages. Really appreciated all their help.

Buying from them an absolute disaster.
Such a shame as Debbie such a lovely lady to deal with but things went down hill when we were told we could not view our potential home before exchange of contracts which immediately brought up a red flag .
We had been so patient and as we were traveling 400 mile and had only viewed the property once we thought this ridiculous and felt we were not being told the whole truth.Although we cannot blame this EA entirely we do feel they should offer more advice to their clients if they want to sell there properties successfully.

I am shocked by the bad reviews on here! Anna at the Ilfracombe branch was utterly superb!

I was handling my Mum's house move for her into the Ilfracombe area and found Anna to be attentive, completely on the ball and felt she went above and beyond to get things over the line.

She always came back to me really quickly in answer to any queries, was a great sounding board and when things were looking as though they were going to go wrong, she worked tirelessly with my Solicitor (also amazing) to make sure that everything went through on time.

This is not just a review for Bond Oxborough but more for Anna herself who is just the person you need when you're looking to buy a house.....

During that period, I also visited other estate agents in Barnstaple for updates, but none were as friendly, pleasant, and professional as Jeanette and Kelly, nor did they have new houses coming to their portfolio as regularly. I telephoned the Torrington office to make an appointment for my house to be valued, it had previously been valued by Howard Bowles from the Torrington branch some 18months previously so just wanted to check whether he needed to re-visit. Whilst on the phone making the appointment I heard a male member of staff shout at the top of his voice..”Well you can F*** right off”.. I can only hope he was not speaking to a customer on the phone but someone else. The guy I was speaking to made a sshhhh sound as he was clearly very embarrassed and apologised for his colleagues appalling and very unprofessional behaviour. Whilst I was called back some days later but at a time much later than arranged by Howard Bowles I certainly would not now consider using BOP as clearly they have shown themselves to be extremely unprofessional in front of clients and certainly totally uncaring of clients opinions. I certainly would have expected better, obviously did not attend the good Customer Service course.

Sold two properties in Plymouth via the Tavistock office. Excellent service, great communication and above all the regular communication with the conveyancers, solicitors being slow has let us down and cost sales in the past 😕. This agent is good all round and keeps the sale process moving 😊

Purchased a house through BOP Barnstaple and very impressed with the professional service they provided.
Aidan and the team were helpful throughout, allowing me to arrange multiple visits at short notice, and were prompt and friendly when communicating.

Valued my house at 10% less than any other local agent, comparing it to other properties that were incomparable in terms of size and location. Appreciate that he only looked like a teenager and clearly has a lot to learn with his “gift of the gab”, which he definitely didn’t have, but actually asked of my Samsung Frame TV “what is that, is that a hologram or something?”
If you’re not sure what a TV is, don’t trust with my business.

Terrible experience with the Barnstaple office. We were told by one of the staff member that we qualified for a section 106 on the cottage early in April this year. 7 months later all packed ready to move. did not even apologise for it. Very unprofessional and uncaring. Very Badley done Barnstaple office.

Helpful and professional staff from quotation to completion of sale, such a great personal service and light years ahead of the competition. The team at BOP Wadebridge are highly recommended!!

Contacted them regarding a property they had on their books and asked perfectly reasonable and relevant questions about it and the boundary.
No realising the telephone was still on, I was described as "a pain in the bum bum" and that she "didn't like me".
I have experience unprofessional people before but they have plumbed new depths.
Warning to prospective sellers! If this is the way they treat prospective buyers BEWARE!

Barnstaple Office - Plenty of viewings - offer within days - stuck with it despite buyer dragging process out for seven months, where others might well have thrown in the towel, keeping us fully informed throughout.
