My partner purchased some foundation…

My partner purchased some foundation this afternoon for me at your Northallerton shop. He thought he had picked up the correct shade. It wasn't until he walked outside into the natural light did he realise it was the wrong one so he walked straight back in. No other customer had been to the till after so went straight up to the guy on the checkout an explained his mistake. Your worker asked if he had the receipt knowing fine well just 20 seconds earlier he hadn't given him one. His response was " oh well, there's nothing I can do about it". My partner was a bit frustrated by this as its any easy mistake to make an walked straight back in to sort it.... he asked why he couldn't just print off the last transaction receipt which the worker stated he couldn't do. One of the worst lies... ( i use tills everyday ). This worker then decided to call for security who also protested there was nothing that could be done so was there going to be a problem here???!! Absolutely, well & truly DISGUSTED. The workers there need some serious training. Can you imagine if he had picked up a prescription an the contents were wrong but they couldn't be changed??? Take a look at your staff Boots Northallerton. What an absolute let down. No more shopping there for us.

Boots Northallerton, need to improve Customer Service

Regularly visit Boots Northallerton to buy something over the counter, but everytime have to join the queue for the pharmacy and wait ages. To then find they don't have any stock of what I need. They seem to have lots of staff just standing around talking and not helping the customers.

Went to boots brighouse to buy polytar…

Went to boots brighouse to buy polytar shampoo for husband. Had to ask for it at the pharmacy as there was none on the shelves. Firstly the girl( who was very distracted) brought out something else and then remembered that they did have polytar she put it through the till and i was charged £9. Took it to husband and he said it should be £6.40 that's what it is on the website. Went back to boots gave the bottle to cashier and asked what is the price coming up for this she said £6.40 which showed on the screen. I asked why there is a discrepancy she said it is because it is from the pharmacy side of the business they charge £9. I said yes but it clearly said on the till £6.40 and i cant get it from the shop floor area as it is not on the shelves as it is a specialised product for psoriasis. She said she would speak to manager. I heard him say well if she's not happy give her refund and she can reorder on website for the £6.40 price! Nobody could tell me why they have 2 different prices depending if you get it from the pharmacy and apart from getting it online you cant get it in store for the cheaper price! it makes you wonder how many other items have a different charge from the pharmacy. Tried to put this review on the Boots site and they blocked it. In future will look elsewhere due to Boots dishonest pricing.

Service with a Sigh at Boots Pharmacy Bangor

I have just called at Boots Pharmacy for the third time in the last few days in the hope of sorting out my repeat prescription. I explained that I was completely out of supplies, and requested an emergency prescription. My request was refused, and no reason was given.

Those who need medication for extended periods are in fact ill, and not always able to cope with bureaucratic confusions, delays, rudeness or obstructiveness, especially when they have been without medication for some days. I am appalled by Boots staff’s refusal to deal with me or consider my medical needs.

Upsetting experience with unhelpful and poorly skilled dispensary assistant at Boots in Ross On Wye

I went to collect a prescription from Boots in Ross On Wye . The dispensary assistant claimed they did not have my prescription and was rude and unhelpful. On talking to the pharmacist he immediately found my medication . When I politely questioned what had gone wrong the dispensary assistant became angry and refused to speak to me . I was left upset and wondering why this young employee was not better trained in customer service and why she thought it was acceptable to be so rude and unhelpful

Boots Pharmacy Kenilworth. Rude, just plain rude!

Boots Pharmacy Kenilworth.
Perhaps the rudest staff ever, anywhere, at the pharmacy counter. I was polite and friendly, just wanting something to clear my sinuses
Went instead to the one at the shires, Leamington, where they were polite, helpful and informative. Manners cost nothing!

Gone from bad to worse.

Only been having my repeat prescription’s done there for past 8 years. Today another new member of staff without a clue. Asked me name address date of birth. Never been asked that before and fed up with the place. Looks terrible and drab and terrible staff.

Refused to replace faulty Gift Card!

I received a £50 gift card for Xmas but the pin number was unreadable when I scratched the relevant area to reveal it. It was covered in a sticky substance which smudged into a black smear. I have never experienced this previously, having used many Boots gift cards previously. I took it to a Boots store, with the receipt, to ask for a replacement. I explained that I wanted to use the card online so needed a PIN number. A very unhelpful and disinterested cashier told me there was nothing she could do and I would just have to use the card in store. An even more disinterested supervisor told me the same thing. I wanted to use the card online to take advantage of the thousands of New Year sales offers and am now unable to do so without a PIN number. How can a store like Boots get away with selling a faulty product and refusing to replace it!? I'm absolutely disgusted with their service and will go out of my way never to shop there again. In the meantime I will not let this matter rest and intend to pursue the matter with Boots head office until I gain a satisfactory outcome. Judging by the huge number of appalling reviews Boots need to seriously up their game!

SHAMBLES !!!

Booked a Flu jab for our daughter whilst she was home visiting us. We carefully planned this during our festive activities. Booked an appointment on 26th December 2022 at 11.30am at the Lower Earley branch next to Asda. Got there 10 mins before and it's CLOSED ..TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE, I DONT CARE WHAT THE EXCUSE, YOU HAVE A ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM OR THE CHEMIST ITSELF COULD HAVE CONTACTED US. SOMEONE IN THE ACTUAL STORE MUST HAVE SEEN THEY HAD BOOKINGS, BUT DECIDED TO JUST SHUT AND GO HOME. ABSOLUTE DISTGUSTING SERVICE.

Hi Boots

Hi Boots, since you’ve disabled all your ‘contact us’ facilitates I thought I’d give TP a try to find out where my order is? Order no 523329687 Paid on 6th Dec but so far only received 1 item and that’s because the store I was collecting from gave me that from the shop floor. If you don’t want to conduct your customer services on TP then I suggest you start replying to your customers or they will be former customers, permanently.

Boots Customer Service phone line delays

The online service to deliver to local store is appalling. I’ve spent two lots of 20 minutes to actually speak to someone to find out where my order is. They are happy to take your money but once you try to get help you can’t get through. I’m still waiting for a proper reply, not an automated one telling me to phone the call centre that I can’t get through to.
At last I found an E mail address and they now say the order is lost in transit. I’ve now asked for a refund which they say can take up to 14 days! Boots just don’t seem able to cope with the volume of orders now so goodness knows what delays there will be in December.

Disorganised

Rang Boots in Porthleven to see about getting a flu jab We were told "come in anytime between 11am and 3pm. We turned up as we were told to, and were advised they were too busy! So still not had our jabs. Not impressed. They need more staff, as getting served for anything like prescriptions also takes a very long time.

No answer from the phones

This would be zero if there was that option. I have tried unsuccessfully for hours to get through to customer services, each time still no answer after 20 mins. My advantage card has stopped working in the self service automated machines and when I went to the manned till I was told I couldn’t use my points against the purchase as I had TOO many which makes no sense what so ever.

Boots sort your website out

I’m sorry as I’ve always loved Boots the Chemist it’s always been there and I would hate for it to disappear.
Today I’ve been so stressed trying to add a new Advantage card as the last one stopped working the assistant in Boots did half for me and said I would have to finish it.
Hours I’ve been on the website, messages like wrong password what is your date of birth, phone number Street name all of which are correct it’s saying all incorrect.
Boots sort your website out please.

If I could leave no stars then for sure…

If I could leave no stars then for sure I would ! Boots chemists are absolutely useless totally 100% hopeless !!! You phone there main number and 95% of the time you either get absolutely no response whatsoever or they eventually answer the phone after about 100 rings or more !!! The wait time when in store is so long many customers walk away in absolute disgrace ! Boots are definitely the very worst of the worst and deserve NIL POINTS.

Boots need to up their game

Boots, The Oracle, Reading, really need to up their game. This is a large flagship store yet their over the counter medicine section which has 3 dedicated till points is hardly ever staffed so you have no option but to join the prescription queue. Nearly 30 mins I waited to purchase a box of Co-codamol which had increased in price by nearly £1.00.
