Oh my goodness!!! I was in despair!! As an avid collector of Gizeh Birkenstock sandals(I have 15 pairs)I was upset when I found my favourite bright pink pair had split on the cork. I did attempt to repair by putting glue into the split!!! No good. A little research I found The Boot Repair Company. Excellent customer service from start to finish!! Some people may say expensive for a repair but my birki's are worth it! So pleased with the repair I have a new pair for half the price. Repair was completed in less than 2 weeks. I was kept informed of progress. Thank you

I was disappointed when I had my walking boots resoled, including the mid sole section, at a cost of around £95. After just three weeks of the resole the toe section of one of the boots became detached from the upper body of the boot. I had to return it to The Boot Repair Company who repaired it. I had only worn the boots three times. I do not now feel confident that the resole will not fail again. I had unfortunately not realised that the guarantee is for only 6 months which seems rather short. I will be demanding a refund if the boots resole fails again. The £95 price for the work is acceptable if the work is of a quality standard, very expensive if it is not.

Posted Birkenstocks on a Sunday for a full cork rebuild and resole, they were sent back within the week. I had some queries re delivery and Rachelle at the BRC responded very quickly and followed up a couple of days later to ensure I had received my sandals. Top class, friendly and very efficient service. Thank you.

I had a very tired looking pair of Milano sandals that needed a new footbed and sole, sent them off to the boot repair company and have received them back and they look brand new! The service and quality is excellent as is there customer service with updates and answers to any queries. Definitely highly recommend

I sent my Birkenstocks to be resoled, this is the third time I’ve used The Boot Repair Company to fix my over worn birkies. They do an amazing job, speedy, great communication, and my Birkenstock? They look better than new! I could not recommend this company enough, such a great way for you to carry on using your old shoes and not over consume! Once these have worn down (I use them constantly) I will be back for another repair! Thanks so much!

Great communication from start to finish. I’d sent 3 pairs of Birkenstocks to be repaired, of which one couldn’t be due to the design so I was refunded straight away for these. The other two pairs were received back this morning along with the un-repaired pair. One pair, I hadn’t worn for over 10 years but didn’t want to throw away and wanted to get them properly repaired but hadn’t found a Birkenstock approved company in the UK until I found the boot repair company. This pair now look like new and will get many years wear out of them yet. The other pair were slightly different and had a red soles. The option of a red sole wasn’t in the drop down menu so I’d chosen white as a replacement. They’ve come back today with red soles so I’m super happy with this!!
I would happily recommend this company and use them again for other shoe/boot/sandal repairs.

Was quoted 2 to 3 weeks when I sent 2 pairs in.
Received them back 6 weeks after BRC had received them.
There was no mention of any delay until i followed up multiple times. Only after requesting my money back did I get any urgency and then my birks back.
The quality of the rebuilds are mid. The sandals are fine and I’m happy with those.
The clogs on the other hand are awful. They feel like they’re a size smaller. The suede is much stiffer than I remember, and the soles now have this suction effect which is both uncomfortable and irritating.
I've tried breaking them in again but they are as good as gone now, which is a shame. Who wants to walk around with farting shoes?
The only reason this review is 2 stars and not 1 is because the sandals were fine and the UPS delivery was swift when they eventually sent them back.

For the price, I definitely will not use this service again.

I send for 2 time my climbing shoes they just ruined cutting in the half the sole destroying the structure of it. First time absolutely destroyed second time a bit better but they didn’t change the sole. They just cut half of the sole and replaced

I emailed The Boot Repair Co. with photos of my brown Birkenstocks which had worn soles (incl. a hole going all the way through the corking).
They happily said they could repair them and asked if I wanted to change the size of the new more durable-looking vibram soles. I said yes and within 10 days received my repaired shoes with original leather straps still in place. They look better than new!
Very pleased. Hopefully this repair will encourage me to take better care of my shoes in future.

Rachelle and team are amazing, repaired the sole on Birkenstocks which are like new now.

Really pleased that companies like BRC exist, as I'd rather revive existing shoes than buy more. I sent them 3, very broken down pairs of Birkenstocks (one maybe 35 years old...), and now have 3 "new" pairs of sandels: all the more appreciated as they're discontinued styles. A good quality repair and great service when the courier failed to find us. Thank you BRC!

Overall was pretty happy with the repair, despite some big gouges to the heel/midsole where the tread had been trimmed to size but can live with that.

Where the service was let down was by return postage, came back with In Post not the advertised UPS Standard. In Post kept having delivery issues so had to contact their customer services to get that sorted.

Never complain usually but feel a bit deflated with this, and with the poor return postage combined with the gouges probably won't send any of my other boots to them.

My doc Martens boots and shoes were sent to you for a new resole and restitch my shoes 👞 were returned on Saturday the repairs were excellent and very professional repairs they looked like a new pair of doc Martin shoes 👞 thanks Michael

Fantastic repair work has been done on my much loved birkenstock sandals. I'm so grateful to get another year or two out of them. Job very well done - thank you! The customer service and communication is excellent. Highly recommend.

Had a pair of old genuine cowboy boots brought years ago in Canada. Unfortunately the brand is no longer continued and my leather soles had worn through.
So pleased I found The Boot Repair Company on line. One quick email to them with a couple of photos of my boots and a quick response received saying they could carry out the work. Although they - for obvious reasons - could not resole with original manufacturer's soles, they would use suitable alternative.
Booking and paying for the service was quick and easy on line. You receive a confirmed order number that you send with your footwear. Then all you need to do is box your footwear up, pop in the post and that's it.
Great communication from the company saying they'd received my boots and an estimate return of two to four weeks. Once completed you receive an email stating work done and footwear being returned, in my case my boots came back in just under two weeks. You also get emails from the postal company they use with a two hour delivery slot and options to change or send to a collection point.
The cost, considering I had new leather soles, stitched and new heels was more than reasonable. The quality of the work is exceptionally high.
All in all, excellent service, quality repairs and an highly recommend company. Considering it took years (about twenty) for my last soles to wear out, I'm not expecting to need replacements anytime soon, but when I do I will be requesting the services of The Boot Repair Company again.

My first ever Birkenstocks hold a special place in my heart—I originally bought them for my very first trip to Paris. After years of heavy wear, the outer layers were worn out and the cork was severely damaged. Luckily, I found The Boot Repair Company. Their work is an absolute masterpiece! The shoes look brand new, but they still carry all those wonderful Paris memories. It is the perfect match. Their customer service was also fantastic, keeping me updated on the progress in a very polite and enthusiastic manner. I now own many more pairs of Birkenstocks and I will absolutely be back for future services. Highly recommended!

I was bereft; my life on the rocks:

I looked at them sideways, from up and then down

I googled Birkenstock repair, who to?, pressed return
And Boot Repair Company came up. Well, you live and learn

But Boot repair? These ain’t boots. They’re having a laugh
But I sent them off dutifully; sure, a bit of a faff

I’m thinking that this is a more ecological choice
Helping the planet, like a still small voice..

A parcel came back much quicker than advised
Curious to see what might be inside

Now they’re back in my arms, after their short spell away
Or at least snug on my feet; where I hope they will stay

Hopefully for a while, until again rubbed away,
And I send them back to the fantastic Boot Repair Company.
