This company is a SCAM.
They are saying we opted for a subscription then take 47eur every 2 weeks from the account. We dont know how they got our data & payment authorisation.
Of course all their emails go to the spam folder so you dont notice for a while. Apparently we (joint a/c) bought a gift card for 12.98eur (weird amount) on the 18th March. 2 days later the subscription starts of 47eur EVERY 2 WEEKS. Got the bank to stop payments and we also contacted them - yes you have to contact them -emails from them are generic AI cutnpaste.
NO REFUND despite the sychophantic reviews of how wonderful they are & their numerous support people.
The reviews are especially interesting & mostly I suspect not genuine. Everyone uses the same words, always how wonderful customer service is (they clearly need a lot), people like to use the word eascalate a lot.
The reviewers also like to review companies doing the same thing as bookpenpaper, theres a whole network of sites in cyprus/denmark
So Ive reported the whole sorry mess to the bank & the National Cyber Security Centre plus all their associated sites. Im also contacting Cyprus Cyber security.
Sadly because the bank say we authorised a payment code so refund/compensation is tricky.
Scam site checker websites flagged this up as untrustworthy for these reasons
*The Tranco rank (how much traffic) is rather low
*The registrar of this website is popular amongst scammers
*We discovered mainly negative reviews for this site
*The age of this site is (very) youngThe identity of the owner of the website is hidden on WHOIS

I've canceld my membership a day ago and it's still sakes money from my bank account for no reason I'm very upset with this

That is the reason of cancelling you keep on mentioning that information is Transparent while it's not I wouldn't have questioned about money if information was there to see I was expecting to be deducted R35 but instead is R186 I want my money back to my account
I want nothing to do with you again Scammers

They lied and use takealot as a face
They said I won a TV from takealot not know that they want me to subscribe to their company

Daisy is being helpful with it so im overall satisfied with the service
