This is a scam!

I've just checked my bank statement and realised that £35 is being taken out of my bank account every month by this scamming company. Honestly, this is a site for sourcing taxis and you think that's enough to demand a subscription of £35 a month. Absolute joke. I want my money back. Everyone that uses this will see it's a tiny fee to get the subscription and then it must be within the agreement that you jack up the price afterwards. Well done on ripping me off I guess 👍

Unwittingly subscribed. Well done for getting my €39

I have had almost exactly the same experience as another reviewer on this page. I was already being scammed by taxi companies in Mallorca charging €100+ for a 15 minute ride to the airport, so I looked for alternatives. I found Bookforyou.io via Google and quickly signed up to be able to book a taxi. In the end the only option was too slow to respond and I had to go with the original taxi company so I cancelled my ride with Bookforyou. I had no idea I was now subscribed to a monthly (extortionate!) fee until I saw what I thought was a fraudulent transaction on my credit card. I’m imagining they said somewhere in the sign up process that this was the case, but I certainly hadn’t noticed and I feel as though I was scammed out of €39. It wouldn’t surprise me if this was their largest revenue line; fees collected from unwitting subscribers before they cancel the thing they never realised they purchased in the first place… legally correct I’m sure, but a shoddy business model catching out people away from their local environment.

Addendum: I need to state that after a second email to them, they did actually refund my fee.
