AVOID THIS COMPANY

Ordered a lovely looking fishing rod in a case with lots of accessories for about £130, the order took about 10 days to come but was just the fishing rod, from China, no case or accessories.
I emailed and 'Jeannie' replied asking for photos of what had arrived, which I supplied. After that she said that a new set would be sent out immediately and there was no need to return the rod. That was about 5 weeks ago, nothing has arrived and they have stopped answering emails. SCAM company. AVOID.

I bought an air purifier/ humidifier…

I bought an air purifier/ humidifier for £44.95 last July 3, 2024.when the lady, from Evri delivery Van handed the parcel to me , I was surprised how small is the package. When I opened it, it's the air purifier,I didn't expect that small. I thought it's a toy. For the amount of money that you pay, it's not worth it. I don't know how long it will last. I bought one in Dunelm ( air Purifier) just down the road where I live 50 times bigger than the one in Black Norway and it's more efficient and durable and a lot better than black Norway. I will never buy anything from Black Norway.It is right what other people write in the review that this on line company is a scam.

Returns to registered London address not to China

Mr Oussama Ben Zahra needs to review his on-line advertising, as he clearly wants people to believe Black Norway, part of icicosmetic Ltd., is a British company, when in fact he resides in Morocco. The London address registered with Companies House is also used by many other companies. As for ordered items coming from China, that is far less evident on his website, as is having to return items to China. No return labels supplied and having to pay return fees to China, contradicts his information on the website on how to initiate a return, where it clearly states WE WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH A RETURN SHIPPING LABEL. The one star is because I did get my refund, after refusing to post item to China, instead stating I would post to the registered address in London, as others should also do. The item took far too long to arrive, hence the return. However, I have had to cover the £8.95 return postage. He has an abysmal returns policy, evidently to put people off. Stay clear!

Edit: Ben, following your reply please read my review again. I stated the item was returned due to taking too long for delivery, not due to being broken, and that I did get my refund, thankyou. However, my complaint is that your website is misleading and contradictory in the information it supplies.
FAQs - HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN clearly states -
To start a return, please contact us - We will provide you with a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package. Please note that returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted, and the return fee will be on you if you do not have a reason.
Misleading; the above statement also implies return fees are payable ONLY if you do not have a reason to return - and no mention that items are to be returned to China if not required - please check!

Update - Thank you Ben for the refund of £8.95 to cover the return postage I had previously paid. I now have a full refund for my returned item.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. You send better your money to a charity of your choice .
They sent me slippers , (made in china) of ridiculous size for a 6’5” guy.
I have complained - demanded refund - they demanded pictures of that ridiculously small
Slippers, implying the fault is on my end.
Needless to say, I never received any refund or exchange item, they promised in their email.
This is simply theft. The worst sort of people doing business online.

Very Disappointed

Back in April I ordered a smart watch from black Norway in the colours black/grey. Some while later a received a damaged package from them and on the box it said fitness smart watch colour; black/grey. on opening the package I discovered that the watch was in fact pink this was not what I ordered i contacted black Norway and had a reply from Jeannie stating could i provide photographic evidence which I duly did. After I had sent in my photos Jeannie said it's okay don't worry you can keep the watch you already have and a replacement watch will be sent to you soon. It is now June 12th and after numerous emails back and to to Jenny I am still waiting for my watch, replying to my last email jenny said okay send the watch back but you will have to pay the postage. I am still waiting for my original watch which I have paid for and still not received. I do not think this is fair. Could you sort this out please Ben.

Wouldn't recommend

I ordered a hammock but I changed my mind 2 hours later. I immediately requested they cancel the order. Someone called Jeannie replied 2 days later telling me the order was shipped. I started feeling suspicious after I received an automated email letting me know the order was shipped days after I was told it cannot be cancelled because it's been shipped.
The order arrived and I asked how to return it. Whilst waiting for the item I asked a few times how to return the item, no answer. I was then told to keep it and they will refund 30%. If I wanted a full refund I would have to send it to China at my expense. False information on returns as well. I usually do a very thorough research before ordering online but not this time.

Caveat Emptor

Goods not received. Told my purchase had been returned to shipper. Appears never to have left China. Wouldn't touch this seller again - ever. Right now trying to get my money back. Cancellation/refund process not encouraging, but one lives in hope.

Don't touch Black Norway with a barge pole.

Black Norway sounds solid, reliable and Nordic. It is not. It is Chinese and if my experience and other reviews are anything to go by, its service leaves much to be desired. I cancelled my order when the company could not give me a delivery date. I wanted the item urgently, so I obtained a similar thing from another provider. Sometime later the company told me that the item had been dispatched. They would not tell me how or where to return it or agree to make a refund. I have taken the dispute up with my credit card company.

Wrong item sent

I didn't realise that you are dealing with a Chinese company , but I have learnt my lesson and realise what a minefield Internet purchases can be ..
This Company sent me a very cheap pair of swimming goggles worth about £5 at the most , instead of the Leather trimmed motorcycle goggles that I ordered which cost £24.95 .. Now , I know that this is low cost for motorcycle goggles so I suppose that I shouldn't have expected quality item.
I was offered 30% refund if I keep the swimming goggles I don't need , or I return them to China with a tracking number and get full refund , it wasn't worth me paying over £12 in postage to get a full refund..
Why on earth they couldn't supply me with what I ordered, and I don't know ,
Very disappointed

I purchased a heated Waistcoat for my husband as a Christmas gift. After opening the gift and wearing the Waistcoat it would not heat up. I contacted Blxck Norway and described the problem. They requested a video of the problem which I sent. They then asked for second video which I sent. They suggested a fix but the Waistcoat still would not heat up. We notified Blxck Norway that it still wouldn't work and they suggested a second fix, this still didn't work. We notified the company that the Waistcoat still didn't work and requested a refund. At this point Blxck Norway ignored our three emails requesting a refund.

Faulty Product supplied which company refused to acknowledge

This company supplied a faulty heated waistcoat - a present from my wife - and failed to reply to emails and posts to customer service complaining that the goods were faulty. All they did was send instructions as to how the product should work and then fail to reply to requests for a refund. Update July 2024. Have been contacted by Ben at Black Norway and a refund has been provided. Shame it took all this time!

Heated gloves with no heating

I ordered a pair of heated gloves before Christmas. They duly arrived 2 weeks later each with an empty battery case for 3 AA batteries, rather than the rechargeable CE& UL Certified 7.4v 2200mah battery they were supposed to have, as well as no charging cable. I emailed back immediately, took some required pictures and was promised by the inevitable 'Jeannie' that another pair of gloves together with the correct batteries and cable had been dispatched. Predictably, nothing has arrived and all e-mails now go unanswered. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. 'Jeannie' is either a bot or just an automated front for a Chinese company with faulty products and no sense of customer service. And if they reply to this review with a message to e-mail their support arm, as they appear to have done a few times on this page, well, I've already e-mailed you several times and guess what - you never replied either.

Black/Norway AKA BLXCK NORWAY

This company replaced a faulty heated vest that did not work correctly and was also undersized, The replacement vest worked for about 2 Months then ceased to work completely and the zipper has fallen apart. I have written an email twice to the company and the lame response I received from Jeannie was that their warranty/returns period was just 30 days and as I have had the item for 90 days I am out of luck, That is such a poor warranty that had I realized they would do this I would never have bought this vest from them in the first place!

Addendum! Ben at BLXCK NORWAY issued a full refund for the defective vest and this was returned to my credit card, I consider this matter now closed!

I have changed my rating from one to three stars based on customer service, but my rating for the heated vest is still just one star!

This company is a complete con, a scam. Having ordered a heated item, when it arrived it didn't work. I was promised a replacement by Jeannie, I have an email to prove it. I am still waiting, a year later zfgerAVOID them at all costs. Buyer beware.

Heated jacket didn’t work. Offered a replacement almost 2 months ago from Jeannie who didn’t send any tracking update. Her last reply sounded like she forgot to send a replacement and is now treating me as a new customer.

They took my money, I got a headache in exchange. I’ll be applying for a refund through my credit card company with the email proofs from Jeannie.

This is a terrible company!

This is a terrible company!! Don't make the mistake of buying from them. I bought a heated jacket. It was faulty. I have tried and tried to contact the company with no response. There was no return slip. I sent the faulty product back signed for. No response. I am now taking it up with the credit card company to try and get my money back.
