SCAMMERSS

THE WORSTTTTT!!!
Don’t even waste your time using this app. It’s the worst like fr. They charge overly high processing fees and are out there to steal from their customers. I transferred 10usd from a certain site that doesn’t charge any amount to send funds, but i received 6.70 usd in my bitpay. 3.30 usd for such a small amount as transaction fees? Ditch that thing!

Absolutely horrible

Absolutely horrible. First are the fees. Attempt to add funds and you are immediately hit with a 14% processing fee. Attempt to adds funds from your wallet and you forever get the message insufficient balance no matter how much or how little you Attempt to fund the card. And did I mention the fees? Yep, you get charged a fee for using money you have already deposited into your wallet

Made a purchase using bitpay accused me…

Made a purchase using bitpay accused me of underpayment issued a refund for less than left my wallet needs my social security number to receive bitcoin that I don't want I want product. This is the death throws of a company about to get wiped out. Buy underpayment they say.0000000085 or something but refund me 50$ or almost 50000 sats less instead of me adding 1.00usd. As long as you hold my 300$ worth of bitcoin its not money its property us laws are different between money and property when fraud is involved.

Please refund.

I paid the invoices, but they didn't work. Their system thought I didn't pay; I offered a refund, they asked me to verify my identity, which I did. They didn't reply to me anymore.

Awful

Awful. Waited months for them to fix a bug because I couldn’t do anything with my funds, then suddenly one day all my funds just disappeared. Customer service is slow to help. They finally told me how to make my funds show up again, but I still can’t send anything. Do not use this.

I had high hopes for BitPay, but, I'm done with BitPay.

I had high hopes for BitPay. But, after two years of dealing with them, I'm done.

First, remember, for 90% of the issues I faced, I was always on my own. There is no live person to help you with anything related to the app, the debit card, or a BitPay wallet. Believe me, you are on your own.

The app and the wallet are "glitchy." Everyday holds a new experience. Most recently, I had to disconnect and then reconnect my Coinbase wallet, as my Coinbase wallets that are "connected" to the BitPay app stopped showing accurate balances.

Also, the BitPay fees to withdraw to another wallet are ridiculously high. And to transfer funds onto your debit card are also crazy high (today, I attempted to transfer $10.00 onto my debit card...the fee: $10.45!!...yep...I needed $20.45 available, to transfer $10...ridiculous).

I am now sticking with Coinbase, in the hopes that it will be user friendly to withdraw/deposit, and reasonable fees.

In all honesty, I just wanted BitPay to provide an easy to use & affordable service, to facilitate simple Bitcoin & crypto transactions. What I got was non-stop irritation. I am forever done with BitPay.

Businesses stay away from it. The way they accept payments is just plainly horrible. They trying to be fancy with integration with ALL wallets, but tell me why on earth I can pay in USDC in TrustWallet but cant in Exodus? I just want to send you an amount, why do you care from which wallet? Just horrible...

Cant verify my identity so they kept all my money

Made a payment then was told something happened and Bitpay needed to refund me. So I click refund and find out I need to verify my identity before I can get my refund.
Angrily I do that, then I'm told they cant verify my Identity. Now my money is gone. Thousands of dollars stolen by bitpay. STAY FAR AWAY
Amount lost: $3,250

Horrible expensive

Horrible expensive , bad fees like outrageous you can buy crypto with no fees nowadays or very small fees but most places are zero commission exchanging like uphold and easy simple and intuitive I think pairing with a better defi compound type coin to earn interest is best. This is garbage and the need be taken off Google play if you ask me for charging fees or linking you to services that are outrageous I'm sure they get a cut from that company by the way

The worst crypto payment solution

This is the second time I tried using Bitpay and again my coins got stuck and the webshop never received any coins even though Bitpay confirmed that payment has been made.
Simply stay away from using Bitpay as a payment solution. The website looks very pretty and modern but on the inside it is ugly and the support is non existent.
I would actually describe this as a scam.

Expensive, poor service, bad privacy. Yuck!

Bitpay has always been horrible but it just keeps on getting worse and worse. Avoid at all costs. They will waste your time and money, and destroy your privacy. Absolutely terrible service that goes completely against the bitcoin ethos of freedom and privacy. I would give it 0 stars if there was such an option.

I've used dozens of wallets and this is…

I've used dozens of wallets and this is so bad, it's completely unusable! You can only load it from an exchange or from a credit card (which means if you already have another wallet - you can't move crypto from it to this one!). Why are we STILL forced to go to a ?!@# exchange to move from wallet to wallet? WHY?!?
