They stole 4000 MWC from me while i was asking them for months to help with withdraws. They claim daily that help is around the corner. NEver comes. Many have complained. I have given up. My 8th exchange I used and NEVER EVER had such a bad experience. Stay away!!!

If there was an option to give zero stars I would.

Terrible, just terrible. Each time there has been a stellar mode upgrade, ability to trade MBX effectively on Bithumb is impossible. Deposits and withdrawals frozen. Customer “support” non existent.

I can’t wait until MBX gets listed elsewhere. Will never trade here again.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS CRAP EXCHANGE. i lost my funds to them. they hostage coins and manipulate markets. they frequently disable markets from time to time to manipulate. they freeze your assets for no reason. service is bad. they wont help you if your funds are missing. no way of getting them back.

DO NOT INVEST WITH BITHUMB. I have opened several tickets trying to have them reset google verification and authenticator so I can transfer money to another wallet. They state they will reset in 2-3 days and it's been weeks. Every time I follow up, they say to submit a new ticket. I've submitted 5 tickets and still no assistance. It is a scam! They are keeping our funds hostage. We have done business with many other platforms and wallets and this is the worst service, experience and cannot get our money out!

I am a new bithumb client who had been trading in this platform for about 1 week now. Their customer support is too slow. In the beginning I deposited USDT from the Binance exchange and it did not show up in my wallet for few days untill i had to email them. I was frustrated and waited for few days.... no response and i decided to log on anyways to see and if it was there and i was never notified that balance is now updated.... if i was to wait for their email response i probably never knew for 100 year.

Thank god i received my usdt which was about 9000 .
but now the "Real Problem is" that they locked me out. literally kicked me off of their server after i bought a massive amount of XTP coins....
i meant to purchase 1.6mill coins at 0.002 but i was only able to purchase 30k coins and the price was still at 0.002 so i had to market buy thinking that i could buy it manually at 0.002 .... and i ended up getting ripped off..... i was only able to get around 400k worth of coins for the price of 1.6mil coin... their server was laggin... and i don't know it kicked me off.
so i tried log back in and they said it's error and tell me to contact them. what did i do wrong??
now it's been 3 days... and no response.... and i need to know what tha hell happend to my coins and my account.

BitThumb has stolen my coins that were transferred in. For 4 months,they've said be patient, we are urging support. Once they realize it's me, they stop answering my chat.
They dont answer my emails.

Who has had success getting in touch with Korea law firms or police to investigate the matter. Its obviously a pattern.

This is a confirmed transaction on the explorer blockchain. They have not disputed that or that I sent the coins to the address they provided.

They dont want me showing up there in August when I go to Korea.

Beware of this page. I made a deposit in BNB and it never got back to me. I can be contacted with the supposed technical support that they offer, and they never solved anything for me even though they had proof of my successful transaction. They made me dizzy for four days and they kept playing with my money.
I do not recommend this platform. in my opinion it is a big scam.

Their exchange is a rip off. Their transfer times - I still have not received my transfers. Don't believe anything they say. Report them to the FTC, NMLS, CFPB & state attorney general. Their posted prices mean nothing. There is even a pop up talking about their system is NOT reliable. After a 20% haircut my first trade, I just wanted out. Still waiting for arrival. You will have to be crazy to trust Bithumb. Use HOO or Binance.

I've had nothing but issues with these & like so many others I suggest you definitely do dot use this exchange since it is nothing but a scam 🙁

Bithumb.com is not safe for users outside Korea.

They will close your account without giving you any notice and they will keep your funds.

Bithumb.com has a very bad support function so it is impossible to contact them if something goes wrong.

After they close your account you will need to employ a law firm to recover your funds/money

no support at all and their website or even the app is simply ridiculous

Waiting for my money I put in over moonpay, always same answers, bad English and no reaction on the real Probleme.

I am sure I will never get my money back

Honestly, the worst exchange I’ve ever experienced. The exchange is holding over $8K, but trying to get any kind of support is impossible. I’ve tried Twitter, Reddit, Telegram and opening a support ticket on the website but they speak minimal English and just keep sending me the same generic message: “Dear User, Please be patient. Many thanks, Bithumb Staff” It’s now been over 4 weeks and I’m no closer to gaining access to my funds. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!

Awful crypto service!
When I requested for mu account to be deleted, they basically told me that they don't "support" such feature. Mind-boggling!

I transfered some crypto currency to my account on bithumb. Was informed that the transfer was successful only to not be able to access my currency. After contacting them about my transfer was told that they would work on getting my funds available for use. I'm still waiting.

Website is broken most of the time. Logs you out (regardless of browser or operating system) every few minutes. You'll literally lose money by not being able to complete trades due to their horrible website.

They get hacked constantly (also due to the low quality website), and then lock up withdrawals and deposits for certain coins. I had my Power Ledger locked on their exchange (everyone did) for over 6 months. That's just how bad their security and website is.

TLDR;

* Website has random errors which pop up, some ask you to 'contact system administrator'
* Website logs you out every few minutes whilst you're trading
* Interface is clumsy and spams you whilst you use it, even when you click not to be spammed.
* Site often crashes/lags, which is costly for trades
* Exchange frequently gets hacked and your money gets locked up, for 6 months or more at a time.

There are plenty of other exchanges which wont lock up your currencies whenever they get hacked, and which have websites and interfaces that work properly and wont cost you money.

South Korean company, claim to totally support foreign customers, they do have English support apparently but they are never there whenever you try and contact them, in the end I finally got into contact and he didn't even speak english properly at all, couldn't understand and so it was really hard to withdraw money.
Just don't make false promises about being able to support foreign users if you can't.
