Big Bear Cool Cabins is definitely a great company to use for your stay at Big Bear. I loved that I was able to save their number and text them with any questions I had. Their response time was great and the experience was better than having to email or call an automated number. I had rented a tobaggan for the snow, but unfortunately, there was no more snow. I was able to text them about it and they refunded me the price. The check-in link was great at providing anything you might need with check-out instructions, reataurant recommendations, as well as things to do that don't involve snow, which is great if you end up going on one of the hottest years and miss the snow! The cabin we chose was great, too. They have various cabins to chose from to meet your needs and are pet friendly. We will definitely be using Big Bear Cool Cabins for our future visits!

Second stay here. Management is responsive and helpful. We love the view from the kitchen and deck, especially in the mornings and evenings.

Such a cute cabin, with big windows. The rooms are a good size and the bathroom was so cute and appeared to be recently remodeled. We love getting away to Big Bear and always us Cool Cabin rentals for good prices and such cute cabins to choose from.

The cabin was so cozy. A perfect getaway. The staff was super helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. We can’t wait to come back!

First time ever. It was great

When we got to cabin we were an hour early. They were very nice, the cabin was cute and cozy. We has a visitor the whole time we were there. There is a nice size squirrel that lives on the property. The only thing that I didn't care for is that to dispose of garbage was at a different area that was 11 mins away. The kitchen had everything we needed to use. There were games and 2 tvs and a DVD player with plenty of dvds to play also the fireplace was the center of the delightful living room. Other then that we will be back. They also offered us a discount if we wanted to stay a few days longer. Definitely worth the stay. My childern enjoyed the peace and quiet that the cabin had. The was a sign that said the cabin isn't a cabin it's a feeling!! We stayed in the a frame cabin with a loft that could sleep 4. And the bedroom was downstairs with the bathroom next to it. Very relaxing. Very nice experience. We had also brought our dog so she could enjoy the experience with us. Very nice neighborhood she enjoyed the quiet and relaxing atmosphere as well. They also had the wifi available for the internet. Thank you

We recently stayed with Cool Cabins and overall had a positive experience, especially when it came to customer service. When we ran into an issue during our stay, their team was very responsive over the phone and quick to help resolve the problem, which we really appreciated.

That said, their electronic communication could use significant improvement. We did not receive any check-in or check-out information ahead of time, which made the process more confusing than it needed to be. Simple updates like a text confirming the cabin is ready, along with the lockbox code and basic arrival instructions would go a long way in making the experience smoother and more seamless.

If Cool Cabins can improve their messaging and automated communication, they would provide a much more polished and stress-free guest experience.

We picked this cabin specifically for the size, sleeping arrangements, and based on pictures because it was on the water with a dock. Even some of the reviews from other guests indicated they loved using the dock for fishing. When we arrived one of the first signs we had seen in the cabin was to not use the dock and no fishing as it belongs to the lodge. We were very disappointed on this as we had booked this location specifically for that purpose. We still have to give a good review though because it was clean, a lot of towels available, a nice sized fridge, and my family loved all the board games available.

What a fantastic first visit to Big Bear! The cabin exceeded expectations, and the backyard was perfect for our dog. The whole stay was completely hassle-free. Can't wait to come back!

The house was very charming. My kids loved the jacuzzi in the backyard. The neighborhood was peaceful and beautiful. There’s a great trail down the street. The ski slopes are nearby. My family and I had a wonderful stay.

Great Big Bear cabin. The open layout between the living room, dining area, and kitchen makes the 1,300 sq ft feel both spacious and cozy—perfect for hanging out together after a day on the mountain. The stone bathrooms are beautifully done, and the hot tub deck tucked around the trees gives it that classic mountain-cabin feel.

The fenced backyard was perfect for our dog, and the neighborhood is quiet and very friendly. One of the best cabins we’ve stayed in up here—we’d definitely come back.

The first water got cold fast we had to shower like 5 min each person or the water would be cold.
