Liked that cabin is small
Liked that cabin is small, but usable. Bed is stuffed in corner and is difficult to get in and out of.bathroom is tight, but ok. Modem wasn’t working, but manager promptly sent someone out to fix it.

Big Bear Cabin
House was great. Perfect for me and my wife and our dog. Great view. Amenities were fantastic. Location was nice. Had difficulty looking for the key box. Heaters appear to be not working or lack of instructions on how to operate them. Tall people may have issues with the kitchen and bathroom. We almost didn’t make driving up the driveway. We had an SUV and our tires were slipping. After that, we had to park at the top just before the driveway because we were afraid we might not make it the next time. If not for the driveway, it would have been 5 stars.

It’s nice and comfy even tho the yard wasn’t that clean with doggy poop bags on the floor and water and ice dispenser also didn’t work, the filter needed to be changed.

House is average. Could be dusted and cleaned a little better. Back sliding glass door needs to be fixed. Very hard to slide, wheels fell off. Otherwise I give this house 3 stars.

Everything was clean and well set up. Location was exactly what we were hoping for, and everything was so pretty! Both checking in and checking out went super smoothly. Only thing was one of the rooms was unaccessible, but it wasn’t much of a inconvenience.

Our spring break vacation went wonderfully. It was calm, relaxing, and so atmospheric. Cool Cabins were very helpful and incredibly responsive for anything we needed. Would be booking future vacations through them.

This is the second time I have rented from you. (I accidentally went through Vrbo instead of directly to Big Bear Cool Cabins). Nevertheless, the cabin was beautiful and spacious. Everything was clean and necessities provided if we forgot to bring. I will always rent directly through Big Bear Cool Cabins on every trip to Big Bear Lake.

Beautiful, but a quick Warning
The cabin and the area were beautiful. Very good customer service. Warning: When you get the key, don't leave it on the flimsy key ring they give you, it falls off very easily. If you lose it, they charge $150 to replace it.

Our stay
Hello, unfortunately we would have to rate it a 2.5. The first thing was the sliding glass door handle fell off right as we were opening the door so I had to keep putting it back on our whole stay! Then my son and I went in to the downstairs bedroom and I see my son reaching for something and luckily I was able to stop him because it was a live mouse trap above the bed on right hand side next to a picture! Then when the heater would go on and off it sounded like someone was trying to break in, which was not pleasant at 2/3 o'clock in the morning while sleeping! The last main issue is the hot water! The hot water maybe lasted 10 minutes and that's being generous! With six people needing to take a shower after a long day at the lake, that's like just over a minute per person to take a shower and did not work out too well for us! There was a few other things but the above is the main reason for my score. Overall these issues unfortunately took away a lot from our vacation time and is not what we expected especially because we plan a trip once a year and this is the first time we felt this way but we usually rent from Airbnb. Not trying to be difficult just stating my experience(s). But if those issues were fixed we would have definitely rated it closer or a 5 for sure!
