Great product and super service. I had to return something and the communication was excellent and fast.

Have returned the item and paid shipping cost myself. Nevertheless, when refunding money, they deducted shipping cost from the item price again. After contacting customer service, they refused to refund full amount as I was no longer able to provide the bill. Couldn’t they check their accounts?

So, paid nearly 20€ For returning the package. Disappointing. Not going to order again.

I tried to order from this company without any luck it kept declining my debit card and PayPal and when I called customer care they blamed my mobile device what a load of bull because I shop all over the world this way with no problems... my advice stay away from this company the staff not very helpful

Among the other things I got a very good customer service experience with Bergfreunde, despite that I had an issue with carrier, who damaged my Item. Kristen promptly assisted me with the return with no any hassle. The communication was great, I got the same day reply on any risen question.
Despite I’ve had an issue with a carrier who damaged my item, I’d recommend the store based onn my experience.
Shipping time may have some delays, depends on your geo-location however if you take in account the great service, good choice and fair prices it does worth it!

I purchased a pair of ON shoes from Bergfreunde. Full price E189 euro. They were the Cloudtec Waterproof runner. They were advertised on the Bergfreunde site under the banner Trail and Running shoe. And in the dropdown menu as running shoes. Within a few days I noticed the shoes accumulated significant amounts of stones in the threads. Some quite large. The thread is extremely deep. About 2cm deep and 1 cm wide. The accumulation of stones makes the shoes useless for anything but paved surfaces with no debris. And very uncomfortable when it accumulates these stones. Bergfreunde now tell me they should be only used on paved surfaces. Fat lot of good that is to me now. I believe the shoes are incorrectly described on the Bergfreunde site and the company was not prepared to meet me halfway with the problem. Loads of mails back and forth. I wont be using them again. Very disappointing.

I have always had a great experience with bergfreunde. I bought a sleeping bag that had some issues but it was not problem getting my money back. Of course the processs can take a while, but thats understandable as they have to return it to the manufactor.

Second time I receive climbing shoes in a wrong size. And I have to pay a fee, to return the shoes to Bergfreunde to get refunded. SECOND TIME.

You have to wait to long time when you call Bergfreund. They simply do not have enough reps handling the calls.

Devold Tinden Spacer Jacket in size L is not the same in grey and blue. Blue is at least one size bigger than the grey.

Honestly I have read some bad reviews about bergfreunde, but whole process was pretty good, I have placed order and received goods in a reasonable time, so I would definitely recommend them!

They promise 4-5 working days delivery.
I’ve ordered it for two weeks now. I called three times and I got three different reasons for the delay: IT system change, long delivery time due to holiday and the third one was that oversized products (crash-pads) need manual handling that takes time. Weeks...

I need to add to Bergfreunde’s reply below that the parcel hasn’t arrived.
I got an e-mail after two weeks saying that my order is cancelled due to technical reasons and no indication when I’ll get my money back, so I called...and I called, three times and waited for 5min each time for a bergfreunde to pick up my call. Nope! It’s not possible. They are dismissing my call as they are busy treating other customers.
So I sent an email asking them to call me back. No callback.

I need to point out that the product which was technically impossible to be shipped is still on the website, on sale.

Reached out to customer support for after waiting 4 days for shipping confirmation. They told me the package is 'stuck in their system' and they do not know when it will ever be shipped. Cancellation not possible because order had already been processed.
Bonus, the customer support hotline keeps dropping you after a few minutes when they are busy. (and they are always busy). It took me 9 calls to get to speak to an agent.
