please find somone else for insurance.

If I could put less than 1 star it would be a more accurate expression of the experience i received with this company. I am not even a client of theirs and they caused me so much stress in my day that I actually cried because I have never in my life received such bad service, not just with insurance but with any customer service reps i have ever spoken to. The reps are extremely rude, they don't speak english. They gave me a price and when i went back to get that price they had changed it completely even though I had offered proof of what they had asked for. If youre wise, keep away from this insurance. I boycott this insurance!!

Sadly, similar experience as others. Had SSQ, which was really good, but got transferred to Beneva. Website is impossible to navigate, links sometimes go to old information, "email us" forms don't work (error after trying to submit, so you lose everything you wrote), impossible to get a hold of people. So disappointed.

If there’s anything less than a star I would give it to them. They are FRAUDS and will SCAM you off your money. I ordered a baby 3:1 swing and paid in full, swing never came after several months. I had to use the fraud team of my bank to get my money back.

140 minutes on waiting is ENOUGH TO QUIT !

I would give this zero stars if possible. Unfortunately this is the insurance my employer has. I have never had worse coverage and worst customer service.

I agree with the masses. This is by far the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with and the unfortunate thing is... I DIDN'T CHOOSE THEM! A quack broker I had initially put my life insurance with La Cap, which I was already on the fence about. Then they were bought by Beneva??? They don't answer the phone, they don't answer emails. How are they one of the "largest firms"?? In what galaxy?
Stay away from this company use a reputable named company like Sunlife, Manulife or even your BANK!

Bad customer service, waited a week for a simple information could be done in 1 minute.

They don't answer the phones. Spent HOURS so far on diff days and still haven't got through. Filled in an online form days ago but no reply. If l didn't already have one of their products, l would NEVER NEVER deal with them

If I could rate this a zero I would. Beneva is the worst company ever. Our group insurance for a schoolboard in Quebec is with this horrible company. They don't send your insurance card out. I called to get my certificate number, and they gave me a wrong number after waiting on hold for 3 hours. Couldn't get my medication. A collogue who has a daughter with diabetes....same thing. Couldn't get her medication, with an astronomical price she couldn't afford to pay for it up front. Didn't receive a card. Couldn't get through to them. They are a disaster.
It's like they are a barebones operation, but charge an outrageous amount. I pay $6,500 year....it's crazy.

Stay away from this company. Way cheaper prices at other companies. I was being charged double what i am being charged with the new insurer. They could not beat the price. Yet they charged penalty to cancel the contract. Stay awayyy.

This is by far the worst insurance company. Our truck got stollen and we are loosing so much money. What is the point of paying so much in insurance if they are not willing to reiumburse what is being lost, especially with proof of purchase. Also important to say the client service is horrible. We were never able to reach the agent assigned to our claim. In 3 weeks, we were able to talk to her twice. Never got a straight answer. It was a nightmare dealing with them for a claim. I strongly recommend against using Beneva as your insurance.

Strongly advise against using this company.
Takes almost an hour to get a hold of a representative by phone.
Submitted signed cancellation policy letter as explained by representative, followed up, confirmed it was delivered, Beneva continued to take money from my account.
Partner who also uses Beneva and pays a substantial amount per month spent over an hour on the phone to be told they had no record of his policies and would have to call him back.

Since my company change the insurance co to Beneva, it was officially the begin of everybody’s nightmare! Worst company ever! The app sucks….filing a claim is way more complicated, site always down! Feels like it is a 5 persons run company! Garbage…..garbage!

They ended my contract without telling me.

I gave 1 star and believe me one star is too many stars. I have been trying to contact this company about my account as I cannot access it. I have spent at least 1.5 hrs on hold between yesterday and today. I tried to file a complaint that part doesn't work either. Horrible company to deal with. This is my employer's choice not mine and it will never be mine either.

I have been tying to get hold of an agent for about a week now as i have been unable to access my insurance online to no avail. i will be on wait for close to an hour and the line will go off. Finally got one agent who said he was transferring me to technical department; the line went mute for more than 15 mins and went off. This is after being on hold for about 30mins. I hope this insurance company is real and not a scam. Now i am skeptical about them.

With LaCapital since 2017. Beneva bought out and moved my investments Nov 2023. I have been unable to access my investments ever since. Have gone back and forth doing what was asked of me from the Beneva advisor to no avail. Last straw was told to go into the site and put in an email which I have not already tried (I have 2 emails which I use and tried both). I emailed the advisor stating I didn't want to set up yet another email and that I would rather just take my investments out. That advisor stated I would not have to set up another email. I don't quite understand how to use a different email, one which I haven't already used, to not setting up another email. Very poor communication, poor advice, poor service.
