The apartment is nice and accurately…

The apartment is nice and accurately represented online. It is clean and offers the necessities. There is no elevator but the apartment is only one flight up. Rue Tiquetonne is a cute little street. It is near lots of shops bars and restaurants. The only downside is there is a bar called “NeXT” close by that is open til 5am five nights a week. Several times we were woken up in the middle of the night by young people making noise as they came and went from that bar. Bring earplugs!

The apartment was nice and newly…

The apartment was nice and newly remodeled. Great location and love the food store right next door. With 60 winding steps to the back apartment 3rd floor, someone with mobility issues may want to reconsider. It was great overall.

Great place to visit Paris

Overall a very good experience

Overall a very good experience! It was a fit for my needs, but here are some things to help determine if it is the right fit for your needs.

Pros:
- VERY secure! 2 coded doors before you even get to the apartment door to get the key (lock box)
- Central location - 18 min walk to Notre Dame & the Louvre
- Nice size - true king size bed & functional kitchen
- No smoking in the courtyard
- 2 welcome waters
- Shower & sink gets VERY hot (nice, but be careful)

Cons:
- You can hear the rumble of the metro under you, so if you are sensitive to that, it might not be the best fit for you.
- Closet is not functional - it is used to store the cleaning supplies for the unit instead of providing a space to hang any clothes you brought
- No top sheet on the bed - only having a duvet makes it difficult to regulate temperature while sleeping
- No hand soap - had to use the dish soap to wash my hands (and yes, as others have mentioned bring your own shampoo and shower soap, so I was prepared for that)
- Communication with the host was very slow or never answered before arrival - I asked about dropping my bags early while cleaning was being completed and never heard back so I used a 3rd party bag drop in the area
- Had to figure some things out for myself = having to push buttons to exit and for exterior lights to come on

The location is great

The location is great! The room itself is spacious but the bed needs replaced and the water heater is small (quick showers). There is also no Air Conditioning which is tough as it gets warmer.

Very nice and pretty large apartment…

Very nice and pretty large apartment with comfortable bed and modern bathroom / shower. Well-equipped kitchen with fridge, microwave, small stove and both a hot pot and espresso maker with pods. On a quiet courtyard so no street noise. Location is close to the metro, but if you’re a tourist it’s a long walk to the areas you want to explore. There are some good cafes very close by.

Toilet

Things were good. Toilet had problems. Took a day to fix. Repairman was willing to come out on Sattuday. Things weren't that bad so came on Sunday and fixed it.

Excellent location, modern and clean appartment

Excellent location and modern apartment. The staircase is somewhat scary but once you passed it, you’ll love everything else.

I would recommend that they install light blocking in the bedroom and dont believe the appartement has air conditioning (although we didn’t need it in May)

Our group of six stayed in Unit G20

Our group of six stayed in Unit G20, a three-bedroom unit on the G floor. The unit was clean and bright, the beds were comfortable, the central air conditioning worked perfectly, the kitchen was fully equipped, and the outdoor BBQ grill was brand new. The check-in instructions were clear and easy to understand; following the steps led us to the parking lot, and there was an elevator to our floor. Our three-day stay was almost perfect, except for the difficulty in contacting management and the owner. From the first day, we reported some minor issues via phone and app, such as: a balcony door that couldn't be opened with a key, stubborn stains on the toilet seat, and the refrigerator not working due to a power point problem. We received no response by the time we left. Fortunately, these were minor issues; power outages and leaks would have been much more troublesome. We hope the management will take these issues seriously.

HIDDEN FEES & DISASTROUS CUSTOMER SERVICE – AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

My recent stay was ruined by Belvilla's total lack of transparency and unprofessionalism.

Not only were we hit with unannounced charges for trash (€12) and forced to pay for Wifi (€20) that presented as optional, but the communication between Belvilla and the homeowner is a complete mess. The listing was misleading, and the documents provided were inconsistent.

A ghost customer service:
Trying to reach them is a nightmare. The French-speaking customer service is completely unreachable by phone. After countless attempts and a lot of wasted time, I was forced to settle for English-speaking agents, which is unacceptable for a company operating in French-speaking markets.

Their "compensation" is an insult:
After acknowledging the issues, they refuse a monetary refund. Instead, they keep pushing a 10% discount voucher for a future booking. This is a trap. Why would I spend more money with a company that has already failed me and is impossible to reach when problems arise?

They are using automated scripts to wear me down instead of taking responsibility for their errors. This is not a 'gesture of goodwill'; it is a marketing tactic to mask their incompetence.

Warning to all travelers: Do not trust their listings. If you have an issue, you will be left alone, unable to speak to anyone in your language, and they will refuse to give your money back.

I am now escalating this to the European Consumer Centre (ECC).

TOPSTAY AND TOPLOCATION WITH GREAT SERVICE

We made the reservation for our son and two of his friends and they were over the moon. Their stay was perfect and the accomodation had everything they could have wished for. They even had a BBQ 2 times and the pool was excellent.
The communication with the landlady Isabelle was absolutely to the point and she responded always very quick. I can only recommend this for everyone. Don't hesitate, book it now!
