Will not use them again

Used this company a year or two ago and was really pleased with the service. Good price, swift delivery and carefully packaged.

But this time i placed my order and didn't get any response for a week. When i chased i was then advised that it would be 6 weeks. As this went past Christmas, 6 weeks would have been too long. There was no mention of this timeframe on their website at the time and i thought 3/4 weeks would have been ample time for my order.

My order has therefore been cancelled with no sign of a refund (over 2 weeks since cancellation). I have chased 3 times without a response. I am now having to go through my bank to try and retrieve my money.

Shocking service and a real shame the company has gone down this path.

I ordered beer on 10th Sept

I ordered beer on 10th Sept. Then I received an email (offering a 5% discount for the delay if I ordered more beer) on 9th Oct. Then received an email on 27th Oct saying the order was being processed. Not arrived yet!

Poor communication

I wish I had read the recent reviews before placing my order. I placed my order on the 4th of Dec. I have had no communication since. I have sent 2 emails asking for an update on my order and just got 2 automated replies saying they'll be in touch within 24 hours and funnily enough, like others have documented, no one gets back to you! Having previously worked in customer services, this is not a great way to run a business, if you can't be bothered to reply to enquiries! What a great way to lose customers! Now the website is conveniently down for maintenance. To be fair it did say delivery could be up to 5 weeks, however, I placed another order with another Belgian beer supplier based near Antwerp who got my order shipped within 4 days of placing the order! This supplier provided regular updates, unlike this lot. The longer no communication goes on, the more inclined I am to cancel the order through my bank. Not happy!

13/01/21 Follow up - Claimed the money back through my bank using a chargeback claim. To all the fellow reviewers on here who have been badly let down, I'd urge you to do the same!

I wish I had read reviews before I placed an order on the 7 th of Dec. I emailed them a few times after getting mixed messages on delivery timescales. I eventually got an email from Kimo confirming a delivery within 3-4 days with DPD. On this understanding I placed an order. I still had not received my order 6 days later so made an enquiry which was answered telling me delivery would now be 6 weeks. I told him this was not acceptable and requested they cancel my order an process a refund. I have had to follow this up with a number of emails but have had no reply. My next step will be with Visa. Use these people at your risk, so far they have been hopeless for me.

Poor comms but arrived eventually

Having ordered on the 2nd Nov I didnt expect to have to wait 6 weeks but the order eventually turned up. The packaging and delivery was excellent but the wait was very, very poor. I tried emailing and "contact us" with a two in four success rate. It's a real shame, it is very hard to know whether they are just dis-organised or COVID has caused issues. If they were more forthcoming on the website about the length of delays and maybe an honest delivery expectation it would be more acceptable. After COVID I may try them again to see if it is any better.

Shocking communication and delivery service . Placed order in 31st if October . No delivery or communication. I have asked 3 times if any idea when delivery will areive but no reply .will not be using this company again. If i could rate zero stars i would

Price, packaging and delivery all very good

Having previously reviewed this company and only given 2 stars because of very slow delivery I am pleased to report that since moving their operation to a new warehouse the situation has significantly improved.
This order which included a discount given because of the previous delivery problems was delivered in 10 days which considering Covid restrictions currently in place from Belgium to the UK is very good. So price, packaging and delivery all good so 4 stars this time. If they can beat 10 days delivery next time I will give a 5, very good service.

Bad Service

Placed an order on the 1st of November. After almost two weeks, the status still shows as Accepted Payment, the money was taken out of my VISA account immediately.
Now I have written to them three times to enquire about my order or to cancel it but received no response so far.
I'll try one more time before contacting VISA.

Update: On the 2nd of December, I contacted Belgiuminabox via WhatApp on +32479419679 and requested the fulfilment or the order or a full refund. Today is the 6th of December and no response whatsoever from Belgiuminabox.
Take my advice, if you are looking to order anything for Christmas, avoid this website/trader. To be honest, avoid it at anytime.

Placed an order almost 2 weeks ago to…

Placed an order almost 2 weeks ago and no response. Checking the reviews here I was worried no one was getting beer sent out! Having commented on the lack of communication here last week, Kimo was immediately in touch and my order dispatched. All safely arrived now so they are definitely up and running now. Fantastic range and good prices and they are getting the orders out!

Best place for Belgian beer

Great selection, super-secure packaging, good prices.

Processing can be a bit slow and sometimes they are difficult to get hold of, but it's always worth the wait.

I've ordered five times in the past year and I haven't had any trouble, even during the lockdowns.

Highly recommended.

Fast Delivery

I think delivery to the UK 4 working days proves that.

Like squeezing beer out of a stone

Getting an order delivered to you is like squeezing beer out of a stone. Terrible service and equally bad customer service. A sizable order of over 300 euros took almost 10 weeks (2.5 MONTHS!) to arrive within Europe. Multiple emails later, I finally got my parcels, but never again. (Infuriatingly, they kept ignoring me, but also didn't take any initiative to resolve a massively delayed order.) Immensely disappointing, as their selection is really good and I was hoping that I might end up a regular customer. But ordering from them again is just not worth the hassle.

Bad service no communication long delivery

8 days was the promised delivery. After a month wait I gave up and tried to cancel my 150 pounds plus order. No communication nothing. The beer eventually arrived. Too late to cancel. Dont use this lot. Terrible service.

After being ignored for one month

After being ignored for one month, threats of a PayPal dispute got me an email answered, I received the refund to PayPal but they took 10% for their admin costs. I would seriously say use this company at your peril. There are other companies with similar services that run honestly and efficiently unlike these people

Fantastic service

Brilliant service as always. Delivery took a little longer than normal as they were relocating their premises. Packaging is excellent, no chance of any breakages!! Thanks to Biab team. Look forward to placing my next order.

Please avoid this company

Please avoid this company. Please review all these reviews listed. I should have. I am a U.S. resident and almost 3 months ago ordered and paid for a metal beer sign which had been advertised by this company. My U.S. funds I sent were immediately received, converted to euros and deposited. I have sent 4 emails during this 3 month period requesting information on my order. No response, no refund, no recourse and no clue to all this. Theft by taking at this point. I should have researched these reviews before ordering and would have avoided loosing my ~$200. Very disturbing character by this individual whom represents his country poorly.
